Prós: Everything about this Hotel is exceptional. The service and quality is always beyond any reproach. The location is also perfect.
Contras: The price is high but you get much more than you pay for.
Prós: Nice staff, vibrant bar
Contras: Noise as I wa allocated close to club lounge, another privacy door should be installed;
Contras: tiny rooms even with upgrade
weird hotel layout
Prós: Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending.
Contras: Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.
Prós: Staff was fantastic. My room was great, especially considering the rate, although wouldn't have been worth the "full" price....
Prós: Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff and a probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. We were there for our wedding night and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to an executive suite. The fact the hotel manager had hand-written a (fairly lengthy) congratulations card, and left us some 'congratulations' sweets and cakes was also a very thoughtful touch.
Would highly recommend for a treat or anyone looking for a bit of luxury in London.
Prós: There are many things that i loved.
Amongst it all the location is outstanding.
The staff is a ++
The beds are so comfortable
Its is just a bliss from a to z
Contras: It is a bit expensive and my room was more of a regular room than a superior room
Prós: Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean, well organized, big and comfortable halls, good security, good food, and excellent service.
Contras: Limited television satellite news channels (no CNN), limited television capabilities or a little bit difficult to find channels especially when one press button number 1. It doesn't recognize the difference between 1 and 11. Also it wasn't easy to find local BBC channels. No channel paper list in the room .
The staff disputed with me about this pre-authorisation block for some time, saying it was hotel policy. What? I realise a check is needed to ensure customers have suitable funds but charging twice is completely unnecessary.
Prós: Great location, particularly for shopping
Contras: Charged a pre-authorisation fee the day before check in and then charged the full cost on check in meaning you pay twice, until the pre-Authorisation block (as they described it) is released again. Four days later still no money back! Not happy!
Prós: This was a very charming hotel. The location was wonderful - only a few blocks from an Underground station and Hyde Park. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. The concierge helped with getting tickets to museums and other attractions as well as trains, which saved a great deal of time not waiting in long lines. We took advantage of the breakfast service. The food was good with lots of options. The waitstaff was very attentive. We did not have to wait long for assistance. The maid staff was fine as well and also very friendly. On several occasions, we had to call the front desk to request additional towels and they arrived within minutes.
Contras: The Rembrandt is an older hotel with some of the issues associated with that. For example, the "switch" that controlled power to the room would "break" if the bathroom door was closed to hard in our room or a neighboring room. This could be easily fixed by tapping on the control panel. The room had a small table and desk, so there was no room for a wardrobe. It was a little difficult living out of a suitcase for two weeks. It would have been smarter to remove the desk and substitute some drawers for clothing.
Prós: Well designed room; very complete; lots of nice touches. Heated towel rack; jacuzzie tub; upscale furnishings; even has a couple of 110/115 outlets. Location cannot be beat; just down from Harrods and up from South Kensington Underground station two stops away from Victoria Station and 4 stops away from Westminster Station. The BigBus "hop on hop off" number 36 is just out front and the narrated tour the bus provides last right at 3.5 hours with city traffic and goes to every single place of interest. Tour bus pricing varies based on package deal but around $30 per person. The staff of the hotel always exceeds expectation; Neal, the head concierge; is full of insights for the area; found us a large private van to Heathrow for $65. We had 4 big bags from a twoo week Cruise, so the large Mercedes was excellent. The hotel and its ammenities are moderately pricied if not leaning a little toward expensive, as in breakfast; but in tota,l worth the money especially if on vacation. A superior experience; will stay here again when visiting London for sure.
Prós: Service was outstanding. They provided extra towels and outlet adapter when asked. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great place to use for our home base for our anniversary getaway to London. Centrally located downtown. Close to the tube. Full English breakfast was included in our reservation but I was informed that not every reservation qualified for the "full" breakfast and instead they received a continental breakfast.
Contras: The service in the bar was a bit slow.
The gym was small - but well appointed
Prós: The food was delicious! Breakfast consisted of Indian food and your traditional English breakfast. I am a vegan so I was very happy with the Indian food choices. The wait staff at the Hampton Bar was top notch. We never had to wait for anything. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Contras: There was a lot of construction happening across the street when we visited, but that is no fault of the hotel. Our room was not facing the street, so it was not a disruption.
Prós: Beautiful! architecture, colours and style. You are made to fill very special when visiting.
Prós: The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous
Contras: The rooms were bit small
Prós: This hotel offers a welcome change from the big American chain hotels. Although it is part of an Indian chain, it has managed to preserve an old world charm. The Christmas tree in the lobby along with all the comfy couches and the Elle lovely courtyard made it feel very cozy and comfortable.
Contras: The bathrooms could be a bit bigger but this seems to be a common problem with London hotels in general.
Prós: The hotel was sold out so the room they gave us through Kayak was not so good, a bit tarnished and with warning signs everywhere,
We stayed in better rooms in this hotel in the past. They used to give us welcome notes and a fruit basket to thank us for coming back But, this time, no note, not a great room, as if they were indifferent because we had booked through Kayak (with which they are not partner). It was not possible to change for a better room for 4 days. Then, a wonderful attendant, Adriana moved us to a better room for an additional fee. So,we had s a better experience toward the end of the stay.
I am a fan of the "free breakfast" which seem to attract a non-business crowd.... As a result, a loyal returning guests get a luck ward welcome.
Prós: Wonderful location.
Contras: Room was not clean, bathroom had mold on walls, stains on carpet. Too noisy, could clearly hear people on room above walking & using restroom.
Prós: Very attentive and friendly staff. Great restaurants and Spa inside the hotel. Spacious and well equiped rooms. Great location close to Victoria station (ideal when you fly into Gatwick), in walking disctance from the tube, Westminster, St. James' park and Buckingham palace.
Contras: First room we were given (#352) had a lot of noise from the subway passing underneath, despite the fact that we had explicitly asked for a quiet room!
From the second night on we got a very quiet room.
Prós: Enjoyed our store and appreciated the beautiful court yard in the hotel as well as the complimentary breakfast. Having stayed at multiple hotels in London, this one was the best value
Prós: Location location location staff was well I tune with my needs (where to go what to do) and they were very attentive to making my stay comfortable
Prós: Great location from this clean and well maintained hotel. Has a high end feel but at reasonable prices.
Contras: Sometimes it can be too popular but the hotel copes well and the staff have always been cheerful and courteous.
Prós: Bathtub was awesome. They had outlets for US plugs too.
Prós: It was just average to us. Nothing impressive.
Contras: It was again, fine. Nothing terrible either.
Prós: Breakfasts were fantastic and location was excellent!
Prós: Great location.
Contras: The lighting system requires a sense of humor. It is very easy to mistakingly turn out the lights on someone in a different room. You may want to bring a flashlight
Prós: Room were lovely
Staff efficient and friendly
Contras: Rooms were far too hot at night
Breakfast area - Shown to a table that was not laid up but dirty then had to stand and wait until waitress cleared cleaned and re-laid. Bits of food below by our feet. Breakfast buffet lovely except cooked breakfast, dissappointing in lack of choice of egg and most food only warm, scrambled eggs cold.
Prós: We booked this friend to stay overnight as our friends were having their wedding at The Ballroom in Park Plaza. Thank god the wedding was good, because that was the only good thing about this hotel!!
Contras: As we were part of the bridal group we contacted the hotel months, weeks and even the day before check in to request an early check in, that never happened!! As an apology because our hair and make up artist was standing in reception, we were only upgraded for 2 of the 4 rooms. During and after the wedding, we got stuck in the lift (which was already broken but not decommissioned) no apology from the evening staff and no acknowledgement of their errors, rather I am told "I am done talking to you". After our party having spent tens and thousands of pounds, this is the treatment we received. No compensation and no complimentary offers to any of us.
Prós: Situation plus we were at an Indian wedding in the hotel
Prós: Location was great, and they upgraded us up when we got there. Room was very spacious & clean. In addition, they had gluten free breakfast options.
Contras: Walls were not flush in one place in our rooms, which made it too easy to hear our neighbors in the early hours... (meaning there was a space between the walls.)
Prós: The location was superb. Rooms were comfortable. pricing was very fair
Contras: bar was a bit loud at night due to music. prices are, well, London i.e. a bit high.
Contras: The room was small and was located on the 1st floor - bad view.
Prós: The room and facilties were large for a London hotel at that room rate. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the robes that were provided
Contras: The construction noise was very disruptive and precluded us from getting a good nights rest. The room was poorly designed with large furniture and made it difficult to move around the room comfortably.
Prós: The way I was welcomed and treated by the staff was superb.
Contras: The breakfast wasn't particularly tasty (a bit cheap) and coffee was watery.
Prós: We Loved Everything about the Radisson! You can not go wrong, the rooms are gigantic and with real king beds you get the most comfortable night sleep while in London out of anywhere! From the minute you walk in the door, the customer service is absolutely impeccable, they actually care about you, learn about you, remember you and it is so nice to feel that, especially after 12 hours of travelling across 8 time zones to get there. I give this Radisson 5 Stars and Highly Recommend to anyone searching! Cheers, to all the Staff, Liva, Annaise, and Anna for being super friendly! ~ Sammy Tovar
Prós: Hotel very central for walking to see places of interest, Pimlico felt a safe area, with nice shops and restaurants, we would stay here again. Sadly there are some rough sleepers about, they did not bother us in any way.
Prós: they were very nice. gave us a room upgrade and breakfast. vey good value and the room was in good condition. much better than all other hotels I have stayed in in London except the dorchester which is correspondingly expensive!
Prós: Location - perfect for a London weekend
Breakfast was outstanding
Prós: they were very accommodating to our needs. we arrived before there was a room available and they took our luggage and stored it for us and then upgraded our room when we came back several hours later to officially check in. Extremely friendly hotel personnel.
lovey décor and enjoyed the lobby bar and wait staff there.
we thought our room was very clean and the linens and hygiene products first rate. also very upscale.
Silencioso.
Prós: Great location and helpful staff. The staff helped answer all our questions including how to get to heathrow when we were leaving and all the roads were closed do to a marathon downtown.
Contras: I really can't think of anything we didn't like with this trip. The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. The location was close to everything we needed.
Prós: Decent sized rooms for London. Clean and well run. Very close to Embankment tube station.
Contras: Slightly touristy part of town.
Prós: Beautiful hotel centrally located in the heart of London's biggest attractions. Loved the ability to walk everywhere without ever needing a taxi. Wonderful stay and would recommend to close friends and family.
Prós: Convenient & central location , very comfortable
Contras: Customer service needs to improve
Prós: Location is fabulous for tourists and the room seemed pretty clean. I did my own wipe-down with wipes and there wasn't much left behind.
Contras: Maid didn't replace my washcloth even though I purposely left it on the floor to indicate that I wanted a new one. Room was small and the view from the window was nothing but a wall.
Prós: Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Clean, quiet, and modern rooms with big screen TV. Beds are comfortable and relatively new. We were able to check in early for a reasonable fee.
Contras: Bathroom had no ventilation and you have to prop open the door to clear the moisture after a shower.
Prós: This hotel is "THE" place to stay. Location-Staff-Amenities-Location!!! Excellent location to walk around London en"Joy"ing the sites. Looking at the map you will immediately realize this is a premium place to anchor your rest area. A mere 100 yards from the Charing Cross tube station, this hotel offers a more quiet locale compared to the Piccadilly area (only 1 stop away on the tube).
Before I was able to ask for an early check-in the front desk professional politely stated, "If you and your family would like, you may check-in now (at noon--3 hours early!!!). After flying on a 7 hour red-eye inbound these words golden to our bodies. This unexpected blessing let us rejuvenate with a 30 minute nap before we laced up our walking shoes. Without a doubt, this proved to be 'the most invaluable" act of kindness from the staff. According to our Fitbit we then walked over 20,000 steps and 10+ miles taking nearly 500 pictures and fondly did so with smiles--no way we could have done this without that early check-in and needed pre-rest I visited for a quick 24 hours trip (with 2 teenage kids) to gain intel for when rest of family comes so we'll be squared away. Fantastic experience! Please do yourself a favor and simply stay at the CQ Trafalgar Square. Now go to the next item on your travel checklist--the place to stay is solved.
Lastly, remember that when writing and reading reviews, we cannot and should not evaluate others in their actions by using "our intentions" as the litmus test to criticize their performance. Translation: If I can only make porridge or PB&J's, I have no authority to critique one who "is" a chef but has different taste buds than my own.
Enjoy your trip to this great city wherever you decide to stay and remember the reality of your trip--you are there for the city not the hotel. If anything is less than you believed prior to arrival, simply have a nicer dinner when you're out and bring the staff back a little sweet treat. Your act of kindness will be passed onto a future guest at the hotel.
Be Well and Safe Travels :))
PS. Review written by a man with 34 years of worldwide travelling experience...and 11 more to go until retirement. Enjoy the people first, and human made structures second. Blessings.
Contras: This box should be empty. CQ Trafalgar Square performed outstandingly and the owners of this hotel should be commended for their ability to not only acquire a premier property for travelers visiting the great city of London and but more so for accomplishing the most difficult task in any business--employing caring humans to transfer customer service models and ideals into memorable experiences for the traveler. Well done CQ Trafalgar Square...well done.
Prós: Everyone work this hotel are very nice understanding very clean hotel the breakfast was very good and it's close to everywhere you wanna visite in London ) they are very friendly employees They help you for everything you need to know in London don't forget to meet this guy nam Koego his is the cool us guy I over meet with his co worker at the front desk price was so good to for London hotel price
Contras: I like it and I love it the Best hotel ever in London thanks you for everyone who work there
Prós: Cozy, comfortable, great value for money. Very attentive and polite personnel. Strategic location
Prós: The location was superb! One minute walking distance from Oxford street and five minute to Covent Gardens. As central can be, two minutes walk to the Tottenham Rd Tube Station, shopping area, eateries, books and more.
Prós: This was my second stay at this hotel. I stay in Bloomsbury twice a year for business and usually stay at the Morgan Hotel. My first visit was not great. I was not recognized as a gold member while there and was given a pretty small but nicely appt. room. I had not planned on going back but there was a good deal on Agoda for a suite and so I thought I would give them another try. The room was fabulous! Room service was perfect with excellent customer service. The customer service except for a few blips here and there was very good. Just lovely all they way around and now I will look forward to staying there again in the future.
Contras: I was checked in by a very nice woman who talked so lightly that I had to ask her to repeat things. She also did not handle my credit card correctly and so I ended up not being able to charge to my room--slight inconvenience--not terrible. I had a business call that got cut off and the switchboard kept connecting my party to the wrong hotel--more problematic. The breakfast wait staff was not very good. I had to get up from my table to chase them down for a cup of coffee. The basically seat you and then do not attend to you there after. The dinner food was quite good the breakfast is not worth the 21 pounds. Next time I will probably go out for breakfast.
Prós: A designer hotel without the expensive price tag. Excellent breakfast and staff
Contras: You sent us an email to check into the hotel with time of check in room floor etc
We filled this in sent it back and you sent back confirmation of our check in on the morning of the booking
When we arrived at the hotel we were told by the duty manager they did not have a room for us
Reason was the person did not move out of the room
This of course is utter rubbish I believe the true reason is we booked the room through you at a discounted rate they were then able to sell the room at full rate so we were left without a room
Of course this teachers us and others a lesson never to deal with you again and never stay at the Chelsea Harbour
We could of course been informed earlier in the day but nobody even cares when you are paying cheap rates
You get what you pay for in this world
In this case nothing
Prós: The hotel is located in an ideal part of London with the opportunity to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful and attentive without being burdensome. The rooms as spacious and well supplied.
Prós: Hotel room was a little smaller than what I was used to but it was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. It was within walking distance of a lot of awesome sights and activities.
Contras: They offered free breakfast in your room if you filled out your request card the night before. I was only able to take advantage of this service once because I never received another breakfast request card.
Prós: Good sized suite. Usable fridge space. Modern decor. Good security. Restaurant staff nice.
Contras: Small reception area makes it feel cramped and busy.
Didn't get a room with a good view.
Prós: It was in a great location, right next to the tube and the London eye. The room was clean and comfortable but a little small. the food in th restaurant was very good.
Contras: A couple people on the staff in the restaurant were very unpleasant and borderline rude. the front desk staff and concierge were great and very helpful
Prós: The food was worth the price. The location is ideal for a city stay.
Friendliness of staff. Concierage service.
Contras: Ceiling low. Breakfast a bit expensive.
Prós: Very central location. Close to tube station and Oxford street. Less than 10 pounds for cab to Paddington station. Room recently renovated. Nespresso in the room. Lots of storage (drawers, closet space). Very professional staff. Free printing so we could checkin for our departure flight. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Contras: Renovations still ongoing. Construction was happening in the room next to us during the day on a weekday. No construction on weekends and it started at a reasonable hour on weekdays. Few amenities in hotel, but we weren't looking to use them. My wife didn't sleep as well as she needs a contour pillow and one wasn't available.
Prós: The location was perfect ....
Contras: There were dust in the room which were flying Every point of the room, this activated my allergy, air conditioner couldn't clean the room.
Prós: Localização. Simpatia do pessoal. Serviço de concierge.
Prós: Location is great, good access to big chunks of London by foot
Rooms are spacious for a big city
Staff very helpful
Contras: Gym a bit small
Too long a wait for elevators
Breakfast crowded late in the morning, not so special
Prós: Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.
Prós: The location was fantastic.
Contras: The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them
Contras: The carpeting in the common halls was old and worn, giving the hotel a dowdy feel, like something one might find along a highway used for a quick overnight stay on a trip to someplace else.
Prós: Location, deluxe room quite good in size
Contras: Housekeeping not on par with 5 star hotels. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. I have to call to ask them to clean otherwise they would wait hours and hours before they clean.
Prós: Great location, great staff, great services.. the place is spotloss clean and neat.
Prós: very nice business hotel. Room was nice.
Contras: Lots of street noise from night clubs across the street. When the Queue formed 11pm + and especially when the club closed 1:30-2:30am, the street noise was very loud (above TV level). The only night it was not an issue was when it was raining.
The room also didn't have a bath tub.
Prós: The Hotel was convenient to the Tube and a lot of very nice restaurants and shops. Their free wifi was very fast!
Contras: The fitness center was a little small for that size hotel
Prós: staff very helpful room and details very nice.
Contras: not a memorable place. everything/ everyone nice in a generic way. lack of individual character
Prós: great access to numerous restaurants and shopping, staff is very helpful as is concierge with reservations
Prós: A localização é fantástica.
