Prós: The car selections were excellent. Clean, dependable and safe vehicles. All updated safety and convenience features on vehicle. Ease of check in and check out. Transportation to and from airport. Pleasant, efficient and well instructed employees
Contras: a small practice area to familiarize drivers with the car before leaving the lot and entering traffic.

Prós: They called to talk to me.
Contras: They canceled my reservation. It would be better to have the vehicles in stock if I’m able to reserve them.

Prós: Staff member personally went over the car with me and made sure I was comfortable with everything about it. Vehicle was clean and well maintained (new). She gave me a card so I could call if I had any issues during my rental.
Contras: There is always a hard sell on the rental insurance bit which I dislike, but this was no worse than other times.

Quick turnaround, will use them again
Prós: Short queue, nice person behind the desk and no high pressure up-sale which I would have refused anyway.
Contras: The car was a little basic, but I didn't really expect much more for the low price I paid.

Quick and Efficient
Prós: I received an upgraded vehicle. The staff were very pleasant.
Contras: I booked through CarTrawler who themselves wherever good. The only probably with booking through an agency is that it is very difficult if not impossible. The upside is that the rates are very good.

In comparison to Europcar
Prós: Customer service was excellent at Alamo, having rented from Europcar twice and on each occasion experienced a truly awful customer experience this was a pleasant surprise. I will never rent from Europcar again, Alamo has my business

No surprises except trying to navigate around the station
Prós: Good car, no problems, no surprises. Deposit returned promptly. Olivia at the St Pancras desk was friendly and very helpful.
Contras: It's easy to get out of St Pancras station...but not so easy to get back in! I circled the station twice before finding the entrance.

The staff made the experience incomparable
Prós: I very rarely comment on experiences like this unless its particularly bad or particularly good. In this case it's the latter and I couldn't fault Alamo throughout the entire process. The cost was low, the service was remarkably good and I received a free upgrade. Wouldn't waste time looking anywhere else.
Contras: The car smelt ever so slightly of smoke- that's all I have as a negative

Paid a premium and got a lemon
Prós: Friendly staff at pick up
Contras: Car was brand new but a warning light came on and we were unable to drive the car until RAC came out. Meant we had to cancel plans to meet friends. Not the companies fault but felt like we had no real options and very disappointed to cancel plans
