The state police told all of the passengers that we were considered stranded and that we had to figure it out ourselves and then seek reimbursement from AirEuropa. I had to take a greyhound bus in the middle of the night to get to NYC. It's as terrible as it sounds. I am filing a complaint with AirEuropa"

They keep making you come but with no guarantee of anything. No one knows nothing, it’s very bad the way they are managing the situation."

Prós: "Hello Dear, I am writing this message while God only knows how deeply hurt and feels descriminated I am.. Please listen carefully to my below story that happened while my flight from Milan - Madrid ___ Madrid - Miami. I traveled on October, 16th from Miami - Madrid and while checking in to this flight, the gentleman on Air Europa check in desk , required me to pay for my luggage and my iternary already stated that my ticket allowes me to have one bag in cargo and one carry on baggage on board. After I met with the station supervisor and showing the receipt, she understood my rights and proceeded professionally checking me in and I made my flight perfectly all the way to Malpensa, Milan.. On October, 23rd, I was about to make my flight back from Malpensa, Milan - Barajas, Madrid to connect from Madrid to Miami as scheduled.. I proceeded in Malpensa ,Milan Airport to check in area number 5 on terminal 2, where Air Europa flight# UX 1066 is stationed to check in the PAX on this flight. Politely I asked the lady if it's possible to be seated by any emergency exits as I am ex - commerical 1st officer for almost 8 years and I will be able to assist in case of emergency, as I am familiar with evacation procedures.. she informed me that I have to pay for this service.. i totally understood and I didn't comment, while the lady reaction and the way she answered me, was really disrespectful.. Then she asked me to pay €150 for my luggage and I explained the same that happened in Miami airport.. but this time I was deeply disrespected by telling me YOU GO TO TICKETING OFFICE OR YOU WILL NOT TRAVEL...i asked the lady to speak to the supervisor.. the supervisor came after awhile and she was very kind, polite and helpful.. but she kept insisting that I have to pay for my luggage, even I showed her the flight iternirary staying that ONE LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD - 1ST BAG IS FREE - 2ND BAG COST $100... and I had only one bag... Then she saw the receipt and while reading it, another lady from the check in station needed the supervisor help, so she left and I found myself speaking to no one, except the lady who is in charge of my checking in process. Then I told her that it's not fair to pay for something that I already paid for. No one in life can imagine how rude, impolite and discriminating she was.. specially speaking to her colleague in Italian carrying a conversation that I can't understand at all.. but I was able only to understand one thing she mentioned many times while angry... ( La Arabo ).... Yes I am Arabic person from Egypt that love the world from east to west, South to north... and I am living in The United States Of America with a beautiful family that have friends from different cultures, religions and races... But I felt really discriminated at this point when she mentioned ( La Arabo ) many times.... Then she looked at me saying OK AIR SIR ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR BAG OR YOU ARE OK TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT ?"
Contras: "I honestly told her (( SHUU )) because yes, I was feeling very disrespected and discriminated.. so it's fair enough to tell her (( SHUUU )) as I was looking at someone who is still discriminating people in 2017..Then I told her where to pay ? She directed me to the TICKETING office.. I went there and was really very sad.. not for paying, for how come someone can treat a customer like that... or even a human..then when the gentleman asked me for the credit card, I dropped it on his table.. Yes I know that I did it not in a nice way.. but then i apologized to the gentleman.. and you can ask him that I told him that you have nothing to do with this.. and I should apologize.. he gave me the receipt that I still have it that prove paying €150 for my luggage.. I went through security and then proceeded to my gate with a huge feeling of happiness that I will see my family in the U.S soon after a long trip.. The craziest thing even happened while I was proceeding to the boarding gate, the lady took my boarding pass and informed me that I am not allowed to board the airplane for security reasons..What???? Why??? What did I do??? No one talk to me... The lady who was checking me in earlier was turning her face and smiling.... can you imagine?????? Can you imagine the abuse????? Then I told her what did I do ??? I am not a bad person to not be allowed to board the airplane... I don't carry a gun or anything that threatening the safety on the aircraft.. and you know What?? I started to cry while I feel that I am deeply discriminated.... they told me that the captain has the rights to refuse you being on board... Again, as an EX Commercial Pilot, I know very well that for security and safety reasons for the aircraft, the PIC has the authority not to accept a passenger on board, in case that this pax is threatening the airplane verbally, visually, mentally and physically by showing any extreme illness symptoms that would put the life of passengers on board in danger.... DO I AM ONE OF ALL THIS?????? I am someone who is never being in a police department for any criminal purposes and never threatened any human being life... so why I am not allowed to board the aircraft and go back home to see my family and go to my work that I gain my salary from, to pay my taxes to the country that I am resident in, The United States Of America.. And if you are planning to decline my boarding process, why would you let me pay €150 for the luggage???? Isn't it really unfair???? We all work hard to afford our living... so why to do this for me whime I am leaving my family in America to travel for business to afford living for my family.... it's not fair by any meaning or language...."
Contras: "The seats were very uncomfortable for a long flight. There was also no air circulation so it was extremely hot. The fact that we had to pay for internet is ridiculous. How much more money are these airlines trying to pump out of us? I will not be flying with air europa in the future."

Contras: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."
Contras: "Every flight was at least an hour delayed. We were insanely late for our connection flight due to a totally unnecessary delay at the first airport. We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."

Details like a travel bag with socks and a toothbrush were a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled that I could charge my devices all at the same time due to ample outlets."
Contras: "The food was just okay (only one option) and I had to ring the attendant to ask for water. There was no beverage service on a 7 hour flight and that seemed odd to me."

Please make it clear from the very beginning that checked luggage is not included. Easy Jet does a great job of this, giving you the option to pay for a checked bag when buying your ticket. With Air Europa, I had no idea at all."

I am 6 feet and about 4 inches tall, therefore flights are never very comfortable. However, out of many airlines I have used Air Europa provides the least amount of leg room. The flight was very uncomfortable. It lasted nearly 12 hours, but I never came close to being able to take even a short nap. This was the worst flight experience I have had. There should be an advisory to warn tall individuals like myself."

A big disappointment versus the flight we had from BXL to PORTO !"
Contras: "Everything went wrong. The flight arrived 40 minutes late and I missed my connecting flight because they closed the gate before I could get there. As a result, when I asked both airlines involved (Brussels Air and Portugal Air (TAP) what to do, each airline blamed the other airline for the problem and each said it was my problem to fix. After speaking with ten people and begging them to make the problem right for a problem I did not create, they finally issued me a new ticket but I had to wait 24 hours for the new flight to leave. It was a total breakdown in communication and organization and customer support and problem resolution on the part of the airlines and the airport. I never want to fly these airlines again and never want to take a flight with connections."

Prós: "The personnel AFTER passport control was wonderful, both airport and United. Passport control workers failed to recognize or help move us through to be able to board in time while they allowed other passengers to go ahead who had same departure. Plane waited 30 mins past take off for us."
Contras: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."
Contras: "Delayed. Crew seemed pretty annoyed to have people aboard. Will avoid next time."

Contras: "It is ridiculous that an airline does not include soft drinks and water free while on the plane. The flight was also delayed with no clarifying information from airline employees. The information board said boarding for 20 minutes before they unlocked the doors and started boarding."
Contras: "The transatlantic flight from JFK took off about an hour late and we missed the connecting flight. This was very disappointing since half of the people on our flight were gong to Munich and I would have expected the airline to hold the plane for an extra 15 - 20 minutes so we could have made the flight. Instead, an almost empty plane must have taken off on time and we are only able to fly to Munch 5 hours later. Unacceptable from Brussel Airlines / Lufthansa. They should not sell this connection as a flight to Munich or should have held the plane."
Prós: "The pilot was good and made a smooth landing. The seat was comfortable enough because I had a pillow."
Contras: "My checked luggage got lost on a direct flight. That is unacceptable."

Contras: "Luggage nor sent from Brussels to Florence. On day 2 they had no clue where our 2 pieces were. Both pieces were bar-coded and there was. File complaint number did not help. we travel regularly and it has been many years sine we had luggage problems."
Prós: "The crew was on point, the comfort was great though the plane was a bit cold they had plenty of blankets. The organization of finally getting onto the plane was great."
Contras: "The boarding process was confusing and disorganized. Perhaps it's always this way but they began boarding rows 32-47, but never changed the monitor when boarding of additional rows began. I didn't understand the need for extra security prior to arriving at the gate either. I was already in the terminal, but then needed an additional sticker on my passport. Not enough options in the entertainment section."
Contras: "Very dirty plane, limited space poor customer service. Took pictures of stained trays, seats. Very gross."
Prós: "It was on time, almost."
Contras: "They needlessly took our carry on luggage and checked it in, even though the dimensions were alright, and there was enough vacant and unused overhead space in the flight. The luggage took forever to arrive on the carousel, much to drones anxiety. Also, the gate information wasn't displayed on the TV screens.. Even though they knew it."

If your ticket says your last destination is us. And i did not even got a full refund for their stupid mistake. Lack of information. You guys should be more careless for your customers."

Prós: "As far as flying goes the crew where very professional, pleasant and helpful. Honestly, I did not interact with them much but they seemed to all get along well and do their work happily and efficiently. They managed a large multi cultural flight well which is likely no easy job!"
Contras: "Seats: Why is that head rest attachment on the seat? It's AWFUL! It forces your neck in a very bad position. You have to be tall to use it properly. There should be a way to remove it for those of us too short to use it as it was meant to be used. The food on this flight was not the worst I have ever had but it certainly was not goo either. Two rice dishes...why? Boarding seemed to be slow and a bit unorganized. Why not board by seat zones?"

Contras: "The delay in this flight was made far worse by the poor communication about he new timeframe for departure. It was poorly handled and we ended up getting to our final destination at 3 am as a result. Disappointed."

Contras: "Did not like the 60 EUR charge if you have a carryon and a personal item. Seems like both could fit fine. This is a putative charge compared to the the flight cost. Prefer they allow both and just charge a higher fee per person for the trip or make the extra charge extremely clear when booking. That said because Portugal was playing in the World Cup the attendant let us go without a charge that day."

Contras: "Our flight was delayed due to French ATC - not much Easyjet can do about that. Then boarding was delayed for an additional 30 mins while we waited outside the terminal. Then we lost our slot because of the delay in boarding. Then we had to wait in the destination airport for another 15 mins for a gate to disembark at. Overall, a frustrating journey but what is only a 50 min flight."
Prós: "Staff courteous and helpful, information mostly good including on delays. Food and drink options on flight mostly good though additional cost. Plane clean and comfortable enough for a 3hr flight."
Contras: "Random seat allocation without additional payment, Split airport is small and cramped with lots of people sitting / lying on the floor due to lack of seats - they appear to be building a new terminal to upgrade this. Food / beverage options at Split poor with large queues and low quality. Flight delayed circa half an hour. Person behind me kept putting knee in my back whilst talking loudly to neighbours despite me asking him to refrain... Split airport process of bag drop then security then passport control did lead to repeated queueing though not for a huge amount of time. Suggests the systems are not quite as high tech as other airports. No entertainment applicable to this flight."

Contras: "The ground staff of easyJet were horrible. During boarding, my girlfriend was instructed to fit a carry-on on the "bag size check thing" and it didn't fit (barely). We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."
Prós: "Geound and cabin crew were nice"
Contras: "Boarding with no system. SB were confused where to go. They disnt use the signs for sb boarders. They boarded sb families SA all together. So sb were stuck behind the large families. Long long wait till bus arrives. They pushed everyone in a hallway. About 40-35 min wait in the AC. Flight was short and ok. But getting to the point to fly was seriously long."
