I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

For checkin in 1 bag at the counter! The website was deceptive in its wording with 1 baggag is free and the rest has a fee. Therefore, i understood that i didn't have to purchase a check in luggage fee. That right there is living expense that I depended on for my trip. Thanks Air Europa! The check-in agent and another Air Europa representative at the Madrid airport did little to anull my fee that I felt mislead about. That was terrible customer service! I tried to give my flight a chance, but the touch down landing was probably one of the worst jolted sloppy touchdowns I've experienced. I looked around to see other's surprised reaction. I don't know of how Air Europa stocks or current state of economy are; but after dropping €60 for 1 checked in luggage, I'd expect a free beverage or light snack provided. Even the hot tea was €2.50. Im not happy and warning other's not to use this airline."

At the time of making the booking,your website didn't show how & where to pay for Che k in baggage but when I checked in at the airport I had to pay 60 euros each for check in baggage when I had paid only $50 for the airfare. I think it's highway robbery to charge so much for checkbin baggage by deceiving passengers of not providing the option to pay half the price at the time of purchasing the ticket. I would never book another ticket through your site & will make sure I tell everyone to do the same. I had worse experience ever."

We were also delayed 3 hours in Madrid with no compensation, we got a "snack" voucher that totaled $5. It was terrible and I will never fly this airline again."

So it's almost false advertising. Kayak should protect its users. Also, our checked bag that we paid the extra money for arrived late! After our flight was delayed over an hour by the way! Kayak should protect its customers better. Or at least make sure they're informed"

Their back up reason for needing to check bags was the flight was overbooked and there would be no room for bags, both of which were false as I personally counted at least 15 seats open and there were at least 6-7 completely empty overhead bins. Finally, it is Kayak that notifies me that my flight is delayed 90 minutes, but yet the airline decides it is a good idea to have us board and then just sit on the plane before finally telling us after 30 minutes of sitting on the plane with the flight door still open that we are delayed another hour. I would not fly them again."

Is the weight issue an over head storage weight limit issue or a fuel issue? Either way they eventually let me go. Ridiculous. They charged me over $110 for an extra check bag when kayak told me it would be $65-$110. Scam/stealing. Also, they told me I had to hold my kid during take off and landing instead of them being in their super secure car seat. How is that even logical? They said it was a company policy. If it was a company policy, why didn’t I have to hold my kid on the following flight? Dumb."

Prós: "Although I booked a flight on what I thought was British airways it was some off brand airline: Vueling very disappointing to show up at Gateick to check in at BA and be redirected to the equivalence of Spirit airlines in the USA."
Contras: "It said British airlines and was a vueling airlines flight. I would equivalent this to booking a flight through Kayak on Delta showing up to Delta to check in and being redirected to Spirit airlines!! Completely misleading, just glad I didn’t have to pay for a vag as I would on Spirit. No water, snacks offered pretty bare bone airline!!"

Contras: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

Contras: "We had to pay extra to check-In our luggage only for Vueling airlines to lose my friends luggage. They did not even make us feel like they would do everything possible to find it and it ruined the rest of our trip. My friend ended having to buy everything from underwear to shoes to clothes. Not only did it take time and energy to find clothes for her but it was very costly. I've flown MANY airlines and have never had deal with lost luggage so I was expecting more from the airline to do everything possible to located it or compensate us for their mistake, especially when we had to pay an additional $50 USD to check-in our luggage (that ultimately ended up lost). I would not recommend this airline."

Tivemos de permanecer sentados em espera para podermos sentir. Enfim. No mínimo ridículo."

Contras: "The gate for boarding was supposed to close at 1205pm but they didn’t announce the gate until 11:30am. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:35pm but there was no announcement of delay, all of the attendants said that everything was on schedule, yet boarding didn’t even start until 1230pm. They randomly took people out of line and told them their bags were too big and made them pay 50 euro, even though their bags still went in the same hold and they were no bigger than anyone else’s when later compared. It was an international flight and multiple people didn’t even have to show their passports. Then on the plane we sat on the runway for about another hour and didn’t takeoff until 1:40pm. The take off was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The seats were basically lawn chairs glued to the ground and the aisles aren’t large enough for the crew so they were constantly bumping everyone in the aisle seats. The landing felt like the plane was going to flip over and crash and then on top of everything we were told that Ryanair didn’t have enough employees to take our luggage off of the plane."
Contras: "We were charged an additional $70 per person to have our boarding passes printed at the airport. After waiting 40 minutes in line to check in, we were made to go to another office to get boarding passes. Even though we arrived 3 hours before the flight, we barely made it. Ryanair tries to put as many obstacles and charges in your way before you fly. You have no recourse as you would miss your flight if you don’t pay the extra charges. During the flight, the whole purpose of the crew is to sell duty free goods. This airline is the worst! I’d pay more to another airline, just to avoid Ryanair."

Contras: "1- A comida parece a Comida servida nos Anos 70, muito básica com sabor Indústrial típico da Aviação. Tipo de comida que pelo aspecto e sabor nos faz sentir desconfortável e com náuseas. 2- Uma viagem transatlântica num Avião velho e desactualizado o barulho e a vibração do motor, principalmente junto a janela é tanto que não me permitiu dormir, mesmo sendo uma viagem de 7 horas (de Toronto, Canadá até Lisboa Portugal. 3- Inizisténcia de qualquer tipo de Entertenimento! Ausência total de monitores ou televisores não podendo assim assistir a nenhum tipo de programas ou filme., que agrava, principalmente quando se viaga com crianças."
