I certainly wouldn’t chose to fly them again if I had an alternative tho they are better than that horror Vueling whose seats were so close together that I was unable to sit with my legs straight because the leg room was so little."

Ridiculous! We finally begged our way into being squeezed into a flight to Porto. But of course our bags didn’t make it with us and they could not locate where they were or track what time they would get to Porto... we sat at the airport for hours waiting for our bag until they finally offered to deliver them at a later time, which we are still waiting. We missed a full day of our vacation to Portugal because of this situation and are still hoping that our bags will make it to our destination..."

Contras: "The boarding and bad experience at the departing gate was unprecedented!!! I am a gold & platinum traveler, due to millions of mileage flown for over 40 years. This experience that I experienced at the departing gate was unprecedented, worse than the worse charter flight from a third world country decades ago!!! Apparently Transavia has "Sky Serv" employees doing their departing gate work, and they are the worse I have encountered in my life. Rude, irresponsible, talking back to customers when they dared ask them a question, not caring about anything let alone the comfort of the customers, or advising them of status of departure. As a result, they allowed a line to form for boarding, with all the relevant shoving and pushing, including older people standing and being pushed in line, as the Shy Serv employee went behind the departure desk and THE TIME OF DEPARTURE HAD COME, so it was natural for all to stand up in line thinking they will board, while the ARRIVING PLANE HAD NOT EVEN ARRIVED. And when I realized that (also in line) I asked the Sky Serv employee who appeared as the supervisor, why are they not telling the people that so they can sit down, the answer was "we didn't tell them to stand up"!!! When I told them that I thought it was just considerate to do that, he was joined in defence by his colleagues saying "no-one told you or anybody else to stand up, you and they did". As if this was not enough, when finally the plane came, people debarked, and plane was made ready to board, we were asked to board, only to stop us on the middle of the the boarding bridge and stand there for 15 minutes with no one to tell us anything, until a member of the plane crew came out to advise us of the delay and allow us to proceed to the plane. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY TRANSAVIA, or any airline that has "Sky Serv" as it's ground handlers!!!!"

Very likely they will take your carryon even if you comply with requirements, but after you go through the process of security, which is irritating. If they need space they should offer upon check in."

Contras: "Took forever to check in. I know they were under strike at that time but then after waiting for so long and just making our flight, they sent my luggage to Seville Spain. It took 3 full days for me to get my luggage. I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

Prós: "We were sent to Kiwi booking to complete the ticket booking. Flight was canceled due to strike but we weren’t informed this till at the airport. This is likely because airline only has Kiwi contact info and never reached to us. Kiwi also didn’t inform us. We were stuck at airport for 6 hours trying to contact airline. Phone can’t be reached. We talked ied WhatsApp Facebook tweeter. All takes like one hour to get response. In the end flights can’t be rescheduled we had to book new flights ourselves and find hotel to stay. They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"
Contras: "Transavia should have more capacity to hold customers requests. The representative from Transavia at airport provide absolutely no help. Just told us to WhatsApp Transavia. If that’s the approach then more people should be there responding WhatsApp comments not like no response within one hour. Kiwi is of no help as well. If flights get canceled agents should provide us updates as well. When we contacted kiwi in the airport Kiwi even denied flight cancel."

Calling them didn't help as the call center has no ability to change anything on your booking. At the kiosk they charged us double to check our bags because that's just how that works, even though their website ate our credit card information and didn't give us an ability to pay for luggage before check in online. The whole experience has made me decide to never use them ever again."

Contras: "Boarded flight and then let us sitting on the tarmac for ninety minutes with no water or air conditioning.Once flight under way no food available.DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE!!!!"

Prós: "Flight Crew was very good."
Contras: "We flew on a Boeing 787. The seats were not comfortable. They had no kiosks at check in. Even if you check in online, you will still have to check in at the counter."

Contras: "Late boarding, and had to get on a bus to get to the plane."

Prós: "Delayed arrival of the aircraft in Lisbon , subsequently hour plus departure delay ,onward connections and baggage lost."

Prós: "The 787 was the only good thing."

Prós: "This A330 had IFE in Coach unlike other A330s the airline flies. That said, the IFE has limited choices."

Contras: "A small child was allowed to be in business class and disturbed me during the flight. I thought small children are not allowed"

Prós: "Easy check in. On time. Great crew. Love the 787 Dreamliner."

Prós: "I guess not being in the middle seat since there were none and having a seat to myself."
Contras: "There was a delay getting into the plane and then it was still super hot in the plane. Also baggage wasn't clear in terms of buying checked in baggage."

Contras: "Flight attendants were very rude apart from that it was a great flight"

Prós: "No había nada que me agradara de este vuelo."
Contras: "Nuestro vuelo entre Boston y Lisboa arriba llegó con retraso a su destino, Lisboa. En Lisboa, las maletas se retrasaron más de 1 hora. Debido a ambos retrasos, perdimos el vuelo de conexión entre Lisboa y Oviedo. En Lisboa, los empleados del mostrador de Air Europa ni nos miraron a la cara. No se disculparon ni hicieron ningún ademán de ayuda. No había otros vuelos entre Lisboa y Oviedo hasta el día siguiente. Tuvimos que rehacer los billetes de avión en el aeropuerto de Lisboa, encontrar un hotel en Lisboa y cenar allí por el retraso del avión de su compañia y el indebido manejo de equipajes. Aunque las compañias aereas entre Boston y Lisboa y Lisboa y Oviedo fuesen distintintas, el asunto de " no es nuestro problema" " no es una sloución" al viajero, especialmente cuando se trata de vuelos internacionales. Lo menos que Air Europa podría haber hecho por nosotros es habernos facilitado un voucher para pasar la noche en Lisboa. Por decirlo claramente, rehacer los billetes a Oviedo y pasar la noche en Lisboa sumó otros 1000 dólares. Ni que decir que en Oviedo tuvimos que rehacer todo lo demás,porque nuestro vuelo no salió hasta las 4 de la tarde del día siguente. La vuelta del día 21 de Julio desde Lisboa a Boston aconteció iigualmente con otras dos horas de retraso. La compañia Delta en Boston e ofreció a montarnos en un avión Bostón-Atlanta más tarde sin gasto alguno. Su compañia en cambio se disculpó en un vuelo internacional. Su lema "No es nuestro problema". De poco sirve esto ahora de vuelta en mi casa, exceptuando que esta familia no utilizará en el futuro su compañia en ningún vuelo internacional, ni recomendará su aerolinea a otras personas. Nunca Iberia,Delta, Air France, British Airways, Tap ni American se han comportado de este modo a lo largo de nuestro recorrido por el mundo."

Prós: "It was on time"
Contras: "The condition of the plane was very poor, and the space is also very small & uncomfortable. The food was not good either."

Contras: "We were an hour late taking off after boarding"

Prós: "Flight left and arrived on time and seats were comfortable for airline seats."
Contras: "Departing Madrid airport while watching my luggage sit on the tarmac. It turns out their was too much weight and some luggage had to be left behind for another flight. I did get my luggage 24hrs later thankfully."

Prós: "Was delayed getting into a gate once we arrived but other than that, overall a good flight."

Prós: "Flight was smooth, flight atendents were polite, flight time was short"
Contras: "Lights were a little bright"

Contras: "The line for checking in with previous online check in is redicouslously long, what is the point with doind online check in if you have to be standing 1 hour just to drop the bags? It happened in both flights to rhe point that we almost lost our flight from madrid to lisbon"

Prós: "No frills easy to board. Flight left on time and arrived 15 minutes early."
Contras: "Very cramped seats for an average size person. When person in front pushed his seat back the seat was almost touching my face. Way too close."

Prós: "This time Air Europa make us field like nothing before. The check in at the airport, to get in, but specially the time in the fly, they need to improve. The food cold and very bad. We asked for an upgrade do to my health condition and ready to pay the different, nothing."
Contras: "In other words, never againg. Thank you Kayak for the opportunity to express my experience."

Prós: "Comfortable seats, good food, great crew, no delays, overall bettert than other airlines I've flown in U.S."

Prós: "Entertainment and the airplane itself was awesome, very please with the overall experience."
Contras: "The food quality was pretty bad. Also, they would make you start the line to board, but we wouldn't start boarding for another 15 minutes, so the lines took extremely long."

Prós: "Pretty standard experience on this flight for what you pay."
Contras: "Delayed. No transparency. Not a single detail with the passengers despite waiting for 2 hours at the airport."

Prós: "I'm six feet tall with long legs and I was actually comfortable for the flight. It was nice for a change."
Contras: "It was a connecting flight for a lot of people but the crew didn't say where to go for connections. I know that's not really their job, but many people (ourselves included) were running through the airport to first find then travel to our connections. A simple "go right for connections" could have sufficed because in a very un-airport-like move, there were no signs about connections, just gates, and our boarding pass for the connection said Gate ABC--which meant it was either Gate A (60 options), Gate B (60 options), or Gate C (60 options) and Gate A was slightly left and the other two were about a 30 minute run/walk. We had 45 minutes between flights, which we thought was reasonable, but we spent 15 of them trying to figure out where to go and asking airport employees who said follow the gate number and when we showed them Gate ABC, became confused because there was no gate number."

Prós: "On time!"
Contras: "The food is not good. Little space between seats."

Contras: "We had 1h30minuts of delay. Too much for a 40 minut flight..."

Prós: "Quick boarding and landed earlier than scheduled."
Contras: "The air-con was too cold. The seats don't allow you to sleep as there's no where to rest your head against."

Prós: "A simpatia dos profissionais do avião"
Contras: "Quando cheguei ao aeroporto de Gartwik fui até ao guichê da easyget pedir uma informação sobre o meu voo por volta das 5h55m e fui estremamente mal atendida por as funcionárias uma delas até me perguntou se eu não tinhas olhos para ver o placar não me deu a informação que eu pedir não foi nada educação povo sem educação nada profissional"

Prós: "Cumprimento dos horários. Antecipação da hora de chegada."
Contras: "Voo com alguma turbulência. Só deram o aviso uns 10 minutos após ter começado."

Prós: "Comfortable flight. Generally good service."
Contras: "I was made to put my hand luggage in the hold and yet there was plenty of space overhead. While it didn't delay me much it was rather cumbersome."

Prós: "The staff was really nice and on time"

Contras: "too many "stops" in the boarding process, even when you have "speedy boarding" - check in at gate - waiting till door opens to go outside in lane - waiting at the end of the lane till boarding commences..."

Contras: "Escolhi a easy jet porque considerava que se diferenciava das outras low-cost. A péssima experiência de autêntica caça à bagagem extra por um funcionário dedicado exclusivamente a essa função na fila de embarque provou-me que afinal estava enganado. Deixou de ter a minha preferência."

Contras: "Followed online checking, wasn’t seated with my wife, called support, they told me to ask a stewardess when I board. So she is terrified of flying and had a horrible flight sitting with 2 strangers. Had to pay for baggage, I just finished traveling all over Greece, never paid for baggage, until Easy Jet.. I wasn’t impressed at all with Easy Jet and will never book with them."

Prós: "Smooth landing, good communication during flight. Lots of food choices to purchase"
Contras: "Thought I had booked an isle seat - maybe my mistake; entertainment was a few magazines"

Contras: "Over two hour delay , blaming traffic control , when no other flight was delayed ?"

Prós: "Normal."

Prós: "I absolutely loved it. The staff was very kind, the plane was comfy and we saw a lot of things. Wonderful."

Prós: "A much better return trip than the one going out so overall we were very happy."
Contras: "Delayed again. I do accept that most of the time delays are out of the control of the airline but it still detracts from the holiday. One drunk on the plane is still one too many, especially when they fall into you as the one on our flight did to me."

Contras: "flight delayed by approx. 3 hours, no info from easyjet, airport boiling hot, no air-con in airport and packed out. there was no-one to supervise passengers off plane, which led to further delays and resulted in missing hourly train from Gatwick back into London."

Contras: "Single bag policy is unnecessary, it only creates discomfort in the experience with easy jet."

Prós: "Staff were excellent. I felt valued as a passenger. EasyJet seem to try to improve their process continually."
Contras: "Nearly every EasyJet flight I take is delayed. I know this can be beyond their control but I think scheduling is a bit tight. That said they keep you updated often and delay times go down as well as up."

Contras: "We were stopped and told that we had to repackage because my small shoulder bag and my wife's purse were too large and constituted more than one carry-on. We repacked as best we could, considering our suitcases were full already. Not good enough! We were charged sone 70 euros extra. As our bonding proceeded we saw more than several people with larger backpacks and purses than we originally had. Never again for easyjet!"

Contras: "Cancelled flight"

Prós: "The plane departed and arrived on time. The onborad crew was fine as well."
Contras: "The ground staff of easyJet were horrible. During boarding, my girlfriend was instructed to fit a carry-on on the "bag size check thing" and it didn't fit (barely). We we're forced to open the bag and put some of the clothes on to make it fit (the most unnecessary thing, since we're carrying the same weight and volume on the plane anyway). If this was not bad enough, after that, we had to check in the luggage anyway because there was no space in the cabin (making the whole process of removing stuff from the luggage even more irrelevant since volume is no longer an issue). EasyJet goes out of their way to inconvenience its costumers so we are forced to pay more to not be harassed by the staff and their random policies. The flight itself: no leg room and no entertainment."

Prós: "Uma equipa excepcional, simpáticos e muito eficientes."

Contras: "The flight was 3 hours late and we given terrible information, then hey gave us vouchers for food of a paltry €4.50 each!"

Contras: "Being charged £49 for having toiletries in small bag"

Prós: "Waiting almost at the aircraft steps, it was frustrating to be told to go back to the lounge as there was a technical problem with the aircraft. easyJet managed to find a replacement aircraft and ended up leaving 40mins late, but arrived only 20min late. Had visions of being several hours late. For a low cost carrier the seats are fine and crew were very good, friendly and effort by Captain to be the visible face of easyJet in explaining the problems. So much better than Ryanair, clear difference in customer service, easyJet is more like scheduled carriers than low cost like Ryanair."
Contras: "Boarding is always difficult and poorly managed b6 the handling agent. The second time we boarded was a bit better, but real confusion over priority between disabled, passengers with children, speedy boarding etc. There is no entertainment on the aircraft, not even seat power."

Contras: "1h 50 minutes this time"
