Their children yelled, screamed and cried the entire flight and their parents did nothing. Their children laid in the center aisles, jumped up and down in the seats like a trampoline. They played with the trays like a toy repeatedly opening and closing them for fun. They tossed pillows at each other and the father handed them back to them to do it again and again. The parents didn't even seat their children in - the flight attendant had to do it. In our section there was no sleeping only total frustration. I love kids but sitting behind totally irresponsible parents made this return flight a nightmare while awake"

She addressed me and others in a curt and arguably rude tone of voice and mannerisms. No further instruction was given for the gate check process, hence I rolled the small suitcase to the entry of the aircraft, where the Purser asked why I would wish to check the bag. When I recounted the story, he chuckled and said, bring it aboard, there is no reason to check that bag."

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

The state police told all of the passengers that we were considered stranded and that we had to figure it out ourselves and then seek reimbursement from AirEuropa. I had to take a greyhound bus in the middle of the night to get to NYC. It's as terrible as it sounds. I am filing a complaint with AirEuropa"
Contras: "After 2 days at the airport I still waiting for the airline to give me a date and new time for another flight since the airport is having problems after the storms on Wednesday, they don’t have a counter or anything where travelers can ask questions and have problems solve. They keep making you come but with no guarantee of anything. No one knows nothing, it’s very bad the way they are managing the situation."

Prós: "Hello Dear, I am writing this message while God only knows how deeply hurt and feels descriminated I am.. Please listen carefully to my below story that happened while my flight from Milan - Madrid ___ Madrid - Miami. I traveled on October, 16th from Miami - Madrid and while checking in to this flight, the gentleman on Air Europa check in desk , required me to pay for my luggage and my iternary already stated that my ticket allowes me to have one bag in cargo and one carry on baggage on board. After I met with the station supervisor and showing the receipt, she understood my rights and proceeded professionally checking me in and I made my flight perfectly all the way to Malpensa, Milan.. On October, 23rd, I was about to make my flight back from Malpensa, Milan - Barajas, Madrid to connect from Madrid to Miami as scheduled.. I proceeded in Malpensa ,Milan Airport to check in area number 5 on terminal 2, where Air Europa flight# UX 1066 is stationed to check in the PAX on this flight. Politely I asked the lady if it's possible to be seated by any emergency exits as I am ex - commerical 1st officer for almost 8 years and I will be able to assist in case of emergency, as I am familiar with evacation procedures.. she informed me that I have to pay for this service.. i totally understood and I didn't comment, while the lady reaction and the way she answered me, was really disrespectful.. Then she asked me to pay €150 for my luggage and I explained the same that happened in Miami airport.. but this time I was deeply disrespected by telling me YOU GO TO TICKETING OFFICE OR YOU WILL NOT TRAVEL...i asked the lady to speak to the supervisor.. the supervisor came after awhile and she was very kind, polite and helpful.. but she kept insisting that I have to pay for my luggage, even I showed her the flight iternirary staying that ONE LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD - 1ST BAG IS FREE - 2ND BAG COST $100... and I had only one bag... Then she saw the receipt and while reading it, another lady from the check in station needed the supervisor help, so she left and I found myself speaking to no one, except the lady who is in charge of my checking in process. Then I told her that it's not fair to pay for something that I already paid for. No one in life can imagine how rude, impolite and discriminating she was.. specially speaking to her colleague in Italian carrying a conversation that I can't understand at all.. but I was able only to understand one thing she mentioned many times while angry... ( La Arabo ).... Yes I am Arabic person from Egypt that love the world from east to west, South to north... and I am living in The United States Of America with a beautiful family that have friends from different cultures, religions and races... But I felt really discriminated at this point when she mentioned ( La Arabo ) many times.... Then she looked at me saying OK AIR SIR ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR BAG OR YOU ARE OK TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT ?"

She directed me to the TICKETING office.. I went there and was really very sad.. not for paying, for how come someone can treat a customer like that... or even a human..then when the gentleman asked me for the credit card, I dropped it on his table.. Yes I know that I did it not in a nice way.. but then i apologized to the gentleman.. and you can ask him that I told him that you have nothing to do with this.. and I should apologize.. he gave me the receipt that I still have it that prove paying €150 for my luggage.. I went through security and then proceeded to my gate with a huge feeling of happiness that I will see my family in the U.S soon after a long trip.. The craziest thing even happened while I was proceeding to the boarding gate, the lady took my boarding pass and informed me that I am not allowed to board the airplane for security reasons..What???? Why??? What did I do??? No one talk to me... The lady who was checking me in earlier was turning her face and smiling.... can you imagine?????? Can you imagine the abuse????? Then I told her what did I do ??? I am not a bad person to not be allowed to board the airplane... I don't carry a gun or anything that threatening the safety on the aircraft.. and you know What?? I started to cry while I feel that I am deeply discriminated.... they told me that the captain has the rights to refuse you being on board... Again, as an EX Commercial Pilot, I know very well that for security and safety reasons for the aircraft, the PIC has the authority not to accept a passenger on board, in case that this pax is threatening the airplane verbally, visually, mentally and physically by showing any extreme illness symptoms that would put the life of passengers on board in danger.... DO I AM ONE OF ALL THIS?????? I am someone who is never being in a police department for any criminal purposes and never threatened any human being life... so why I am not allowed to board the aircraft and go back home to see my family and go to my work that I gain my salary from, to pay my taxes to the country that I am resident in, The United States Of America.. And if you are planning to decline my boarding process, why would you let me pay €150 for the luggage???? Isn't it really unfair???? We all work hard to afford our living... so why to do this for me whime I am leaving my family in America to travel for business to afford living for my family.... it's not fair by any meaning or language...."
Contras: "The seats were very uncomfortable for a long flight. There was also no air circulation so it was extremely hot. The fact that we had to pay for internet is ridiculous. How much more money are these airlines trying to pump out of us? I will not be flying with air europa in the future."
Prós: "For a short flight chair was comfortable."
Contras: "No food, no entertainment. Late plane"

Contras: "My connection in Madrid was bad. I arrived at gate E82 and had to get to A8. Terminals are laid out sequentially and it was quite a walk, with a passport check before the B terminal. Even with an hour and a half layover I had no time to spare going straight there."
Contras: "Every flight was at least an hour delayed. We were insanely late for our connection flight due to a totally unnecessary delay at the first airport. We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."
Prós: "It was a cheap flight but I didn't feel like I was cattle."
Contras: "The boarding was inefficient. There weren't any zones called or anything."
Contras: "We did not receive any beverage drinks during flight. Only the first 10 or 15 rows received this service. :("
Prós: "I was upgraded to business class which was very spacious and comfortable. The chair fully reclined and I was given a pillow and duvet. Details like a travel bag with socks and a toothbrush were a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled that I could charge my devices all at the same time due to ample outlets."
Contras: "The food was just okay (only one option) and I had to ring the attendant to ask for water. There was no beverage service on a 7 hour flight and that seemed odd to me."
Prós: "Great value for the money, pleasant crew, good food, and comfortable seating."
Contras: "In flight entertainment limited to a few small TVs in the center."
Contras: "No outlets!"
Prós: "Onboard service was great. A small tram picked me up as I was in a Wheelchair and transported myself and companions to the terminal."

Contras: "When I booked my flight it was not at all clear that I had to pay for checked luggage, therefore I had to pay extra when I arrived at the airport. Please make it clear from the very beginning that checked luggage is not included. Easy Jet does a great job of this, giving you the option to pay for a checked bag when buying your ticket. With Air Europa, I had no idea at all."
Prós: "Entertainment and the airplane itself was awesome, very please with the overall experience."
Contras: "The food quality was pretty bad. Also, they would make you start the line to board, but we wouldn't start boarding for another 15 minutes, so the lines took extremely long."
Prós: "Our connecting flight was changed for us."
Contras: "The unplanned extra stop delayed us by 6 hours."
Contras: "Airlines provides no customer support. Do not take it. You have been warned. If you need any changes or any cancellations the policies are extremely unfair. Complete garbage."
Prós: "One of the flight attendants was vert kind"

The flight was delayed 13 hours, they did not gave us the connecting flights passboards up until boarding the plane, my baggage was checked in only until Madrid, when we arrived I was told the bag will go to Mallorca, I asked again at the connecting gate and they told me the opposite, I had to go out get the bag, check it and go in again (changing terminals 3 times in the process walking almost 1 hour and a half), the connecting flight left also one hour late"
Contras: "No entertainment for long flight except mr bean. The way to Madrid was much more enjoyable. Same airline. Oh and wifi=30$ for 50 MB. I use that in 2 min so way too little data with each package."

Contras: "The principal negative experience which made the overall flight experience very disappointing was the lack of leg room. I am 6 feet and about 4 inches tall, therefore flights are never very comfortable. However, out of many airlines I have used Air Europa provides the least amount of leg room. The flight was very uncomfortable. It lasted nearly 12 hours, but I never came close to being able to take even a short nap. This was the worst flight experience I have had. There should be an advisory to warn tall individuals like myself."
Contras: "The web page didnt work The app for ios didn't work. The line at barajas airport was huge, a lot of annoyed people and just 4 counters.. Really?! Plane was delayed beacause of this. Never again"

Contras: "I didn't get any info that I needed to register my info with Greek government 24 hours beforehand due to COVID. Very poor customer-service."

Found it unpleasant and stressful to estimate luggage weight and pay for checked baggage online due to heavy $ penalty if you wait until you get to the airport. I believe this is done so that they don't have to staff the airport check-in desks more adequately. Seats were not comfortable (not much cushion) and leg room was tight."

Contras: "Took my carry on onto the plane, it barely didn't fit in the overhead, I was told it would go under the plane. The bag was never put on the plane, and therefore I had to ski the next day in my jeans and utilize only what I had on my person in a new place I'd never been. Of all the times to lose a bag, you'd hope it wouldn't be on a 3 day trip deep in the mountains of Austria when you're by yourself. How could you take a small bag from inside the plane and then not put it underneath the plane minutes before take off? Horrendous."
Prós: "The crew and food were very nice. Unfortunately, getting from Point A to Point B was a struggle."
Contras: "They didn't leave enough time for connecting flights (we touched down at the same time my connecting flight was boarding), and screwed over a lot of passengers by last-minute not sending their luggage to the connecting flight. I lost my luggage and still haven't found it."
Prós: "Delayed for two hours, that's ok but not being able to locate the luggage is a great discomfort and stress"
Prós: "Crew management of the situation, reserved a hotel with a breakfast for the whole passengers. that was nice but still .!!!"
Contras: "Flight delayed for more than 1 hour first, then we boarded late, then they asked us to get down the flight (because of weather problems) we ended up in a hotel sleeping unitl the day after (12 hours overall)"
Prós: "My husband and I are both tall people, over 6 feet and this was the smallest most uncomfortable seats we have ever been in. We were put in the very last seat and couldn't even fit our legs in. Then when the person in front of me tried to put his seat back I was in so much pain I had to ask him to move it back up. They also wanted to charge us $120 for a bag when our flight was only $100, which was ridiculous! Thankfully the staff was nice enough to waive that fee for us."
Prós: "When we arrived at the airport and went to the counter of Air Berlin turned out that the card is returned not including luggage. The flight from Tel Aviv to Berlin included a suitcase but not from Berlin to Tel Aviv. We paid 120 euros for luggage, although we have not seen an invitation not have paid everything in advance. No one tried to help us, and to explain and attitude was cold and arrogant."
Contras: "Caused damaged to my luggage and I reported and sent all the documents needed. It's been two weeks and the company still hasn't contacted me."
Contras: "No service at all."
Prós: "Service is great def gonna use them more !!!!"

Prós: "AirBerlin has always been a lovely little airline. Wonderful crew and pilots all around. A bit more expensive than the low cost carriers, but better flight times and a normal flight experience (or what used to be normal) was their forte."
Contras: "What I don't like. They don't know what they want to be. Not the crew or pilots, the executives. In September AirBerlin changed their policy of serving 'free' food on flights. I understand that they are competing with the Low Cost carriers (especially as O'Leary has set his sights squarely on AirBerlin), but charging flights that cost more than double of a low cost, yet offering the same experience of a low cost is a sure way to lose customers. Case and point: Flight to Vienna, we were offered complimentary sandwiches and drinks. Return flight, they charged for drinks and food. Which is it, AirBerlin? Either do complimentary food and drinks and keep your customers or keep you fares the same, charge for drinks and food and lose customers. But doing both with no rhyme or reason shows that those in charge do not understand their business."
Prós: "Never did I feel that I was being mobbed at the check in this way before . The guy pretended to help but instead only was doing things harder for every body. He was asking to repack for unclear reason. Forcing people to open their suitcases on the counter to move one item from one bag to the other. Charging for a back pack the size of a personal handbag. Then on board water is 3 euro for a small bottle. Only toilet paper was for free . never again !!!"
Contras: "The landing. The pilot left a dent on the runway."
Prós: "The amount of care from the crew was enough to give 5 stars, but there was also good choices of movies to watch, and no troubles while boarding."
Contras: "The seats can be a little small for someone who is 6'4, but that is my burden to bear. It was a little hard to check in online prior to getting to the airport."
Prós: "Plane was clean and comfortable. Service was pleasant. Waiting area was also comfortable and signage was good. Check in was simple."
Contras: "Flight was delayed and boarding process was disorganized. Luggage took awhile upon landing."
Prós: "Flight boarded, departed and arrived on time. Flight attendants friendly and professional. Plane clean."
Contras: "No beverage service. Having to leave terminal A and go through security again at C."

Contras: "The rules on luggage are very hard to find and punitive if you violate them. We had to pay 60 Euro to check a bag. However if we had chosen to do so when we booked it would have been 30. You can't do this when you check in online when you likely know what you will be taking. Service desk is sympathetic because many make mistake."
Prós: "Good short flight, with free drinks/snack"
Contras: "It was all fine"
Contras: "Air Berlin lost my luggage. Plus they don't pick up my call to their customer service. They are extremely poor in this regard."

Contras: "We were shocked by outrageous fees for checked bags -- 60 EUR for one piece that other airlines consider carry on. More than the ticket itself! Watch out for this. Wish kayak had included this info somehow."

Contras: "I really don't like being charged more than 30 EUR to choose my seat when I am careful to check in as soon as it is possible to do so. It's a strong disincentive for me to choose AirBerlin the next time I fly."
Prós: "Seats were comfortable leather, they served drinks and your choice of sweetbreads savory snack, flight was short, and we didn't have to go through passport control because we were traveling between two EU countries."

Prós: "Very prompt and curtious staff. The flight was smooth and I was seated in an exit row, so there was plenty of room."
Contras: "We had to check baggage last minute and it was very expensive, but we could have purchased tickets with baggage, so just be aware if you have luggage to purchase in advance. Also, only 8 kilos allowed as carry-on, mine was small enough but too heavy... :( Boarding in TXL was crowded with other flights leaving in the same area, but we got on with no problems."
Prós: "Nice flight, fairly standard. Met expectations, crew was very nice and snacks better than average"
