Contras: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."
Prós: "Friendly staff and comfortable seating"
Prós: "This was not my original transfer flight but everyone was much nicer and helpful than serious and being rude. Love Delta, I did not flight United because I wouldn’t have met my United flight once landing in ATL. The Young African American woman who was at the gate was amazing and so reassuring that I would make my flight to Chicago. Would book Delta, just because of how nice she was to me."

Prós: "The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Contras: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."
Contras: "The delta studio didn't work with Android 8"
Prós: "We were traveling with a toddler and infant but put in different row because the tickets were purchased separately. Gate staff promptly put us together and even bumped us up to delta comfort. Was a very pleasant trip. Thanks delta!"

Contras: "They board the front of the plane first, meaning the aisles get clogged up slowing down the process. Also, staff kept insisting pre boarding that more people needed to check their bags because there wasn't enough overhead bin space, but there were plenty of bins not full by take off."
Prós: "Accident on way to airport, so I showed up to check bags 45 minutes before flight time. They said they couldn't get the bag to the plane..in 45 minutes? So, they put on the next flight... 6 hours later. Said I could fly without the bag... uh, no thanks. They would not look for alternatives without charging me more. Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."
Prós: "Airline stewards were very friendly and pleasant."
Contras: "We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."
Contras: "Very uncomfortable, seats did not recline and seats way too close together."
Prós: "Entertainment options weren't bad. Most of the crew was polite other than one flight attendant who seemed ambivalent and unhappy to be there."

Contras: "Delayed for over 2 hours. I have never flown Delta before this flight and it wasn't a great representation. The flight attendants were nice but I was in a seat near the engine and it was making really weird noises. I fly almost every two weeks, so I'm used to engine noises but this was one of the loudest/most rickety sounding flights I have ever been on.. and I have flown Spirit a few times. It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars."

Prós: "The big deal for me was that I was upgraded (at no cost) to Premium Economy class. I enjoyed the extra leg room and the ability to lie back (further than in regular economy class). The free drinks were also a plus."
Contras: "The only thing I can remark upon is that because someone in front of you can lie back so far, it becomes difficult for the person sitting in the window seat to leave his or her seat without disturbing the person in front of him or her."
Prós: "The food, drink, and entertainment selection was great. There were tons of movies to watch and keep me entertained."
Contras: "Once I got in I was given a middle seat, which I would not have chosen had I been able to check in prior for this flight. After this we were given great service until half way through the flight when I was becoming quite thirsty and kept trying to signal the flight attendant based on my help button, but no one came, so I had to stop a flight attendant that was passing so I could ask for some water to drink. Overall, the flight was OK, even though I felt a little crammed in my seat and the need to fish for a flight attendant just to get water was a hassle."

Prós: "It was my daughter's 16th birthday and one of the spunky crew members helped us to create a little celebration. That was very memorable! Otherwise the flight was late (which was OK, the captain kindly kept us informed), but the plane was clean and quiet. The bathrooms on the lower level provided a space to stretch, but as always, they get pretty dirty on a long-haul flight. Price was quite good. I always feel the flights originating from Europe are nicer than those originating in the US."
Contras: "The food was stuck in the past, roll, white cheese, white cake with sugary fruit, somewhat wilted small salad and a pretty greasy chicken dish with polenta and by that point, stewed veggies. I am not accustomed to eating like that and was disappointed (though hungry!). Not a whole lot of room in my seat, I'm 5'6" and slim, but at least the seats recline and glide forward a bit and the head rest bends to catch your head IF you can nod off. I appreciate the civility that still exists under stressful circumstances."
Prós: "Flight made up for delayed departure so we could get off that flying relic earlier. Had enormous storage bins against outside seat in upper deck business section. Great choice of movies."
Contras: "Bizarre seat design and foot cubbyhole meant I could not find a single comfortable position for 8 hours and I am only 5'10". Awful screen technology in unusual swing out mounting lacked sharp focus except for text screens. Pitiful screen control software. Bizarre flight progress animations."

Prós: "Staff was amazing - so incredibly friendly and went the extra mile in every way they could."
Prós: "Smooth boarding. Excellent service and good food. New plane with bathrooms a few steps below the seating area made for a quieter flight with no lines in aisles. We paid extra for Economy seats with extra leg room and it was well worth it."
Prós: "The service was absolutely amazing! Even though I was sitting in economy, I was offered something to drink before take off and at least 5-10 times throughout the 9 hour flight. The food was really good for airplane food and it was a nice touch to have an actual plate and silverware. When you're traveling, those little touches make a big difference. The entertainment was wonderful - the screen on the back of the seat was really responsive and had a wide selection. I watched three movies and played several games."
Contras: "My only criticism was the boarding process seemed a bit disorganized. I guess I'm used to boarding by zones or numbers. This was just sort of a free for all. But if that's my only criticism, that says a lot about the flight!"

Contras: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"
Contras: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."
Contras: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."
Contras: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

Prós: "I've never been on a flight with such narrow seat and thin cushion. There was no entertainment offered for the almost 4 hour flight. There was no means of charging any electronic gears. The airplane seems to be 30 years behind time. Crew was unfriendly and smiling faces are not part of the uniform."

Contras: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Contras: "I flew out on KLM on what felt like a new plane. Amazing service, seat, temperature, entertainment and food. In stark comparison Air France’s plane was old, too hot, poor entertainment choices and system and average food which for the French was surprising!"

Prós: "The entertainment screen was a small 4" screen. The movie selection was outdated. The screen in my seat did not work. Flight attendant said she would "call to have it reset" but it never worked. Fortunately, there was an adjacent empty seat that I moved to on my own initiative and without the flight attendant offering a seat change."
Prós: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Contras: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"
Prós: "The stewardesses were extremely kind and helpful to me as I was travelling alone with my toddler. I really appreciated their help and kindness."

Prós: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Then bad info at airport which led to multiple trips through security trying to make weight on a bag that should have been checked but was told didn't need to. Ended up missing flight, having to rebook at full fare and no one knows where the bag that was checked is. STAY AWAY!"

Contras: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Contras: "TAP does not check your bags all the way through if you are having a layover. This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

Took away headphones that I had stowed aside for a later time while taking a nap and gave it to another passenger - on a long haul business class flight. Poor service culture. Outbound flight was terrible. Six hour delay. No apologies. Rude telephone staff."

Contras: "They served fish on board, and the odor stuck around for awhile."
Contras: "It took a long time to board the plane and there was literally no line at the boarding gate. When I mean there was no line, its not that there were no people, its that we stood grouped together, because there was not enough space for everyone, so no line could form. So people simply cut in front of each other and there was quite a bit of anger and tension.Once we were on board, and seated, they came through and provided a meal. However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Contras: "I upgraded at the airport to Executive class, which is really a bit of a scam to be honest. It’s just the first two rows of the plane and the middle seat kept free... the seats were no different to economy. Not worth the 109€ upgrade fee."

Contras: "We didn't select our meal option for vegetarian because the last time we did we ended up with a horrible, horrible, hockey puck like dry food option. We assumed there would be a cheese pasta option, as there usually is, well we were completely wrong. Both options were meat, even the salad had meat in it. So we got a roll with butter, a tiny fruit, and a disgusting wet dessert. Even the breakfast was meat and cheese. I got online to select our meal option for our return trip, and the options are out of control. We have a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option, whatever that is"
