When we arrived to the plane, they had both entrances open so that those sitting near the rear of the plane would enter from the back. Plane was a little chilly, but I have come to expect that one most flights."

We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."
Contras: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Where were the cabin crew during the delay? They may have not been onboard given their lack of visibility during the delay. The only time they appeared was to distribute a cutlet of water and a packet of dry biscuits. Inflight, apart from the meal service routines, on this 13+ hour flight the crew were notable for not being visible."

Batemos o pé e por fim nos deram hospedagem e alimentação e nos colocaram no mesmo vôo mas no dia seguinte. O hotel era bom mas o voucher para comer no aeroporto não pagava um hambúrguer. O aeroporto aqui é terrível, fede a esgoto e a companhia é super desorganizada. Destruíram nossas malas e fizeram o maior rolo. Aeromexico nunca mais!"

Aeromexico was NOT understanding at all. Their only offer was a 1 year voucher from the time I purchased my ticket. I purchased my ticket in October 2015 (before the Zika outbreak and before being pregnant) and I will still be pregnant in October 2016 so that voucher is completely useless to me. I basically lost $900. Even though I repeatedly tried to explain my situation to customer service and had a letter from my doctor it didn't matter they just repeated their voucher line over and over. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase airline tickets from Aeromexico again and that is a real shame for them because I have a timeshare in Mexico which I plan on enjoying with my growing family for years to come."

Contras: "I just had the worst experience ever with Aeromexico. First, they refused to change my flight, even with me willing to pay any applicable extra-charges. So I went ahead and bought a second flight, from Mexico City to Tijuana. Then, when I arrived at the checkin counter, I was surprised with how unprofessional and disorganized the staff was: nobody was respecting social distance, several people were not wearing a face mask and nobody from the Aeromexico staff was asking them to do so. But the worst part was the fact that my new flight — supposed to leave at 13:05 (AM 176) — only took off at 19:15. We’re talking about a 6:30hr delay and NO SUPPORT from the staff at all during this almost 7 hours of waiting. No clear information, no alternatives, no solutions, nothing. To top it all, after delaying several hours, we finally boarded the aircraft and after 1 hour seating there, the pilot told us that Aeromexico had just told him that his first officer simply wasn’t there, and therefore we couldn’t take of. WHAT??????? We had to leave the plane for another hour or so and the show only came to a finale at 19:15hr when we finally boarded and took of to Tijuana. Anyway, I honestly think I should be reimbursed or at least have 10x, 15x more the miles this flight will give to me."

I was at the airport for over 12hrs and the airline didn't offer an explanation at all or even a food voucher. It was tortourous"

You pay a premium for Business class and granted, the meal was great, something the Coach class did not get BUT they should tell you when booking that that you are sitting in coach with a table blocking the middle seat, not truly a Business class seat. Dumb down your operations but don't insult your customers. Tell them what they are getting when booking a bus type business class seat. Worst business practice ever, driven by European style of travel BUT call it premium economy, not BUSINESS."

Prós: "Really the only thing I've found that is good your staff on the flight it's self. The on board crew are very good. Everthing else pretty much makes it terrible."
Contras: "First off they quote you rate and you pay. Then you find out that you have to pay more just to request a seat. Complete move motivated by pure greed and manipulating us the consumer. Even more so if you don't go and request your seat 24hrs before the flight they automatically assign you the middle seat so they can go and sell the better window and aisle seats. This pretty much makes me want to never use your greedy airline again. Also when I was boarding I get stopped and told my carry on was to large. THE VERY SAME ONE I BROUGHT WITH ME. Why is it too big now? They really had no answer other than they told me I had to check it. The lady was verbally aggressive with me about it. After I was backing down only because I was afraid of losing my flight she then requested a CC saying I had to pay for it. I was literally pulling things out of my bag holding in my hand for my flight. She insisted I had to pay for it. I pointed out that my ticket included 2 bags to begin with and I only used one she said it doesn't matter because its to big for the plane I have to pay. I'm beyond furious now as I'm dropping stuff out of my hands trying to manage everything. I'd like to point out this is just a small gym bag and its a lot smaller than my carry on suite case which I'm frustrated. I'm pretty much pissed off the whole flight to only be more at the end. When the plane lands and I'm getting off I notice every single person has a carry on suite case all of which are much larger than my gym bag. My freaking gym bag fits in the tiny locker at the gym. I HATE BRITISH AIRLINES they only succeed at swindling money from you."
Prós: "I booked a window seat and the booking was dropped, but there was a special to upgrade to economy plus and things worked out just fine. Food was good, and seat comfortable in economy plus"

Contras: "The flight was awful! Boarding was unorganized. Once on the plane, space was TIGHT! I have flown with Iberia before and had leg room and TVs behind the chairs. This was not like this. Seats were uncomfortable for an 8 hour flight, smelly, and flimsy. I have never been more uncomfortable. The crew were nice but one was very rude to a passenger snapping at him and all ignored a very drunk man on my flight as much as possible. This man was very disruptive for most of the flight singing, shaking seats, touching other passengers, and walking about the flight. I did not feel safe at all! The staff would tell him to sit down, walk away, and he would be instantly back up. Staff would see this and ignore. I had no idea what to do. I felt unsupported and unsafe. The flight had constant turbalence to go along with it. To the point that they canceled dinner. I wanted to kiss the ground when I got off the flight. This was absolutely miserable. I could not be more disappointed."

Contras: "First flight was late causing me to miss my connecting flight. Then they not only forget my bags in London, but then give my seat to someone else on the second flight. Instead of being apologetic in any way, they just ship me to a crappy, tiny seat at the back of the plane. Arrive in Sydney to find they had forgotten to put my bags on the flight, and, despite there being the possibility for them to be aware of this in Singapore, they didn't even have to decency to tell me this had occurred. Despite other customers being told that their bags were missing. All in all, not happy with my experience, and to be honest, I'm dreading my return flight with them"

At airport check in desk, manual data entry errors during airport check in caused issues during customs at the end of the flight. Also we were not seated together initially even tho reservations were made months in advance. Airline online check in was pushing us to pay extra for seats together."

O vôo também ocorre em um horário bizarro, muito cedo, o que faz com que as conexões em lima sejam piores ainda, geralmente passando das 8 horas. Claro que isso não é um problema, mas é um ponto a ser observado."

Contras: "A aeronave era velha, fez barulhos terríveis na decolagem, não sabemos se foi o trem de pouso que não guardou corretamente, pensei que fosse explodir tudo. Depois tentei me distrair com o entretenimento, mas a minha TV não funcionava corretamente. A tela piscava, com falhas, e o volume estava muito alto e não abaixava. As músicas não tocavam. Passei oito horas pensando que o avião ia explodir e nao tinha nada pra me distrair. As opções de filmes são poucas e eu esperava mais da American. Foi o pior vôo da minha vida."
Contras: "Nunca vi algo tão BIZARRO ocorrer em um voo. O voo sofreu um atraso, o que é compreensivo e totalmente normal. Não me incomodo nem um pouco quando ocorrem atrasos e cancelamentos, pois prefiro isso do que voar em um avião defeituoso. Porém o despreparo e descortesia do pessoal de solo da aa (em minúsculas mesmo) foi absolutamente desastroso, o que tornou essa a pior experiência de voo da minha vida. Simplesmente eles não conseguiram organizar os passageiros para a reacomodação dos que tinham conexão e a supervisora, na primeira vez que falou no rádio foi para ameaçar os passageiros! Nunca vi isso! Não tinha ninguém gritando ou causando tumulto, ela simplesmente ameaçou chamar a segurança se as pessoas não se afastassem do balcão de informações. E fez isso mais duas vezes. Depois disso, essa mesma pessoa passou a "reacomodar" os passageiros por conta própria, ou seja, colocando num voo qualquer, sem querer saber se atendia às necessidades de cada passageiro. Por fim, disseram para os passageiros com destino final para o RJ que o avião que faria a conexão iria esperá-los, mas que todos os outros iriam perder a conexão. Quando chegamos em Miami, o avião que iria para o RJ já tinha saído (!) e o que iria para SP ainda estava lá (!!). Bizarro. Mas, para piorar, como a gentil senhora tinha feito a delicadeza de mudar minha passagem sem me perguntar se me atenderia ou não, quando me apresentei no portão para embarcar no avião que seguiria para SP me foi informado que, apesar de eu estar com check-in feito e com cartão de embarque em mãos, meus lugares não existiam mais pois minha reserva constava para outro voo em outro dia. Depois de muita insistência com os também grosseiros atendentes de Miami (deve ter uma escola de grosseria na aa), conseguimos embarcar os 5 membros da minha família, todos separados. Viajo dezenas de trechos todos os anos e já avisei: se me virem de novo num voo da aa, pode internar que deu ruim."

The crew was disorganized and it felt like they didn't know what to do with the passengers that came from a layover. The all experience was truly insulting, the crew laughed at as for misunderstanding what she said. I sincerely hope no one would go to the same experience we did."

Contras: "The flight did not have enough immigration forms for all the guests. The wifi did not work. The seats were uncomfortable and small. The plane emitted a deafening high-pitched whistle for about 10 minutes at a certain altitude. The plane wreaked of nauseating jet fuel as we waiting on the Tarmac. The flight crew at the gate was rude and inattentive."
Contras: "1st: the online check-in was unavailable and "buggy" every time I tried to select my seat and then tried to check-in, I was prompted to select my seat. 2nd: You would think that an airline called American would hire Americans to answer and service calls, but when I called to get help with the check-in process; my call was rerouted to India. The Indian lady was nice but she could not understand me very well, which made everything even more frustrating. 3rd: everything cost extra. You don't even get 1 checked bag. I traveled to bourbon country and brought back a souvenir. Had I known that I would have had to pay $25 extra I would've just shipped it home and it would've cost less and has less hassle at the airport. 4th: after using the self service kiosk to check in my bag, the service and ticketing crew would not take my bag when I placed my bag in the area that read "leave your checked bags here". They told me to get in line to drop off my bag. The woman at the counter, just needed saying, "Okay, you've checked in your bags. I'll take that." That's was ridiculous to stand in line only to have the woman take my bags. 5th: one of the ticketing women refused to help the customers trying to check-in and redirected them to use the self service kiosk. 6th: SEATS: the new seat were very uncomfortable, they were rock hard and even the main cabin (preferred seats: cost $53 extra) area had no leg room. The economy seats had about 4inches of room between the end of their seat and the back of the chair in front of them. Recline feature has been restricted to a minimum."
Prós: "I arrived safely at my destination."
Contras: "The two-hour delay from our original departure time to Ontario was inconvenient and aggravating. To make matters worse, gate employees were kept in the dark about flight delays on numerous occasions. The cramped seats were absurdly tiny."

Obviamente não me importei, e pude sentar na saída de emergência, super confortavelmente. Simplesmente foram uns docinhos!! Obrigada Ibéria!!!!"
Contras: "In flight entertainment didn't work and crew wasn't concerned and didn't do anything about it."
Contras: "A porter checked our bags at the gate without asking us whether we were traveling beyond London, so the bags were never transferred to the transatlantic flight nor did they arrive in SF. It wasn't necessary to check them because there was plenty of room in the overhead bins when we got on the flight. We immediately asked a flight attendant to help when I realized they might not go through and he said he spoke to someone who caught and tagged the bags to go through, but it still didn't happen. It would have been easier if he had just brought them to us on the plane. Another women's bag was taken with all her baby supplies and bottles in it for a 16-hour travel day. Very frustrating for all of us."

Contras: "The seat pitch was so small my knees were hard against the seat in front of me for 1.5 hours and I was miserable the whole time. To put this in perspective this was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on an airplane. My legs hurt the whole flight. This was the first leg of an expensive international flight and given the price of the 2 legs I should have been upgraded to a more comfortable seat. My flight to Europe on Iberia was excellent. Prós: "The entertainment system with movies was great, with plenty of choices and good sound. The crew was very good. Legroom on the seats was good. They kept the temperature in the plane just right. We could board first because we had a 5-year-old child."
Contras: "Flight was delayed an hour leaving Chicago, and arrived an hour late in Madrid. The screen was not updated in Chicago to let us know what was going on. It's a mass of people at the gate, with very little systematic lining up. One luggage piece did not come out on the carousel in Madrid. We had to wait 1.5 hr at the airport to confirm that they would send it to our Madrid hotel. Hopefully it will come. The food was mediocre. Pasta for dinner with little to no meat. Not even fruit. They are clearly saving money on the food."
Contras: "Slow service by the flight attendants; poorly stocked food options. perhaps it’s a European thing with budget airlines but to pay for water is unacceptable."
Prós: "The flight has enough leg room considering I'm 6ft. The entertainment was world class. The flight was smooth."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Disposal for paper was stuffed. FYI Breakfast was inedible from ORD to Madrid."
Prós: "The flight attendants are rude, the food is disgusting, and their customer service is non existent. My husband left his iPad on the plane, and realized as soon as we stepped off, but they refused to let us retrieve it. Instead, they went us through this ridiculous online process, where they determined they found the iPad, but "rejected our request to have it returned"!!!!!! The absolute worst!!"

And I paid $45 to get that window seat instead of my original seat that had been randomly assigned!! I wish that airlines provided a couple seats for tall people, because our height is a kind of disability given the cramped seating (which average height people complain about)."

Contras: "Seats were terrible on this flight. My knees were practically burried in the next ahead of me."
Contras: "Was unable to check in as 4th person on ticket did not travel with us. Waited 1.5 +hours until the problem was solved, then had to run to catch flight. Check-in staff was helpful and worked hard to solve problem, their manager made the suggestion that we should call American Airlines to fix problem as he could not."
Prós: "I received what I expected. Good prices with good service"
Contras: "Connection in Madrid. Domestic an international terminals are too far apart"

"I think it was silly that we needed to get a new boarding pass after we showed proof of a negative covid test. I think this proof could have been done online when booking the flight. It seemed very inefficient to do at the gate for everyone."
Contras: "A refeição servida é horrível, um verdadeiro lixo e uma total falta de respeito. Trata-se de uma porção de arroz branco, com molho de tomate e um hambúrguer. Tudo com uma péssima aparência e sabor. A comida foi requentada várias vezes. Além disso quando se abre refeição, fica a impressão de que sacudiram o recipiente (ou abriram e fecharam mais de uma vez), pois você não consegue abrir sem ficar com a mão toda engordorada. Ao tentar substituir a refeição, as pessoas da Iberia não te atendem prontamente e quando isso ocorre, informam que a outra opção não tem mais. Um prêmio para a Iberia de como tratar mal seus passageiros, não respeitando inclusive a saúde dos mesmos, servindo uma comida pouco saudável. Ao pedir um vinho branco, as pessoas da Iberia, informam que não tem. Depois você verifica que tem, ou seja, a pessoa da Iberia não falou da verdade. Resumindo, uma total falta de respeito. A pior alimentação servida em toda minha vida. Além da péssima educação da tripulação da Iberia. Eles estão treinados apenas para fazer o serviço operacional, quando surge algum problema, é uma grande decepção."
Prós: "They had a great selection of movies, each passenger received a blanket and pillow without having to ask, the crew was friendly and professional, and the takeoff and landing were smooth."
Contras: "During the reservation process it seemed that the ticket included luggage, and only when I received the ticket I discovered that I had to pay 30 Euro extra, each way, to check in luggage. The ticket was by no means low-cost, so I don't understand why that wasn't included in the price. And the food could have been much better, I really couldn't eat anything and I usually like airline food... :) Thanks!"

Prós: "The crew were friendly and helpful and the flight arrived early, even though we left a little bit late - as such - I was very happy with the flight. The onboard entertainment system was wifi based and there was a USB charging port in the seat too - modern aircraft."
Contras: "I had no complaints - the flight was just what it should have been ie no issues"
