When little info was obtained by shouting of chinese-speaking passengers, it was in mostly in chinese - not English. For 22 hours we actually did not know what to expect. When we finally were told that there is a flight - huge lines to check in. No help with connecting flights was offered. when I asked to reserve a connecting flight - I was put on a connecting flight that I missed anyway because of further on-going delay. When I reached Istanbul - no help was actively offered. I had to arrange my connecting flight. No compensation was offered. When we asked for some food and water, we were sent to the lowest level lounge in Ataturk airport. Very poor Turkish Airlines experience!"

There was not an exchange with her that was friendly and agreeable. When serving drinks a second time, she asked me what would I like to drink and I answered: What do you have? I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Prós: "So I had to fly to Munich, and rather than flying direct on terrible United, I took a connecting flight via Vienna. Flight was full yet still departed on time and even arrived early. The seat was comfortable and flight went very smoothly. Food served on board was perfectly edible. Disembarking also went without problems. The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."

Interestingly enough it compares well to the non-existing system for lining up at Skilifts in Austria: Use force to squeeze everybody around you or cheat your way in sidewise. Not exactly my cup of tea."

Contras: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Prós: "Flight was on time. Boarding was simple and easy. Staff were excellent in handling the boarding process and very prompt in getting people seated/luggage put in to overhead lockers, free tea and coffee was provided which assured that extra comfort, would definitely recommend."

Prós: "The seats were very comfortable -- the plane wasn't very full, so there was room to spread out for some folks. As a vegetarian, the lunch meal was EXCELLENT, thank you. There was a second snack given just before landing that was basically roasted peppers on bread that was not good -- so you know, many vegetarians actually have sensitivity against peppers, so perhaps another vegetable or option would be better there. Crew was very affable and helpful."
Contras: "See point before re: second snack. Our flight was delayed for two hours, presumably due to snow in Oslo. The boarding area was disorganized -- something I remember from flying through Norway a few years ago as well. I also didn't quite understand why I received priority boarding, as a United gold member on my outbound fight, but not on my return. So the inconsistency was a bit confusing/frustrating. But the flight overall was smooth, and the accommodations quite good."

Contras: "This has nothing directly with SAS, but since I experienced it during my flight there, they are responsible of it. I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! Contras: "flight was delay for 30 mins. then another 30 mins because there are 15 passenger that miss their flight due to delay or there is not enough flight to transport them to Longyearbyen the next day. We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"

Contras: "I makes down for food and entertainment but food could be bought and provided entertainment is not necessary for short flights with such good views of beautiful Norway."

Contras: "Checkin was a disaster, girl was not aware of anything she was doing and after over ten minutes of explainatiin she still put me and my bags on a wrong flight. Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Prós: "The plane was neat, clean and well maintained. The food was very good. The crew was professional and friendly. Based on my experience this is a top-notch airline."

Contras: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Prós: "Checked in easily with the line moving quickly. Boarding was efficient for a full flight. Left on time and arrived early. Luggage beat me to the carousel. Please give Air Canada lessons!"

Prós: "The flight wasn't late and didn't crash."
Contras: "I paid for a business class ticket and was jammed in like a sardine no different than economy, then told "you get a lunch for free". Hundreds of dollars more for a $5.00 lunch is NOT why I booked business class!"

Prós: "SAS agent in Oslo was very nice and quickly rebooked our flight to Bergen when we missed our scheduled one due to luggage delays and confusion at Oslo as to Customs procedure."

Prós: "Leg space was nice for someone who is tall. The crew members were nice."
Contras: "Plane is out-of-date with old seats. 737 did not have entertainment. Limited options for onboard complimentary food"

Contras: "My luggage was lost and SAS staff was the least helpful I've experienced from any airline. In fact, each employee was so uninterested in helping me that I went in a circle of speaking with 3 different representatives before being helped."

Contras: "The seats were to close together. I am not one to get claustrophobia but 5 hours in I felt it and I nearly bolted off the plane after the 10+ hour flight. UGH. Shoulder to shoulder, knees touching the seat in front of you, and only a few inches to recline. UGH. We tried to upgrade when we arrived at Oslo and again in Stockholm but the personnel at both stations were rude and not helpful. UGH."

Contras: "Business class ticket and traveled just like economy. Never advised when booking no business class. Boarding was like a stampede."

Contras: "We boarded late. There was no boarding announcement. A guy walked up in front , as to wait for the announcement and she waved him up. The rest of the gate just started forming several lines. Very unorganized. The we sat on the plane for about a half hour. At least there was an announcement that two people were missing so they had to remove their luggage. 40 minutes late into Longyearbyen."

Prós: "I am angry about the inability to contact a SAS person."
Contras: "You think I should of gotten frustrated on my vacation!!!"

Prós: "The flight was not crowded and that was a nice surprise for a transatlantic flight. Each passenger was offered a personal bottle of water upon boarding, cabin crew was very nice and professional. The flight was on time and we arrived at the airport of destination even ahead of time!"

Contras: "I flew economy class and my seat was not the best. I was in between two big guys. I suppose that was just bad luck."

Prós: "No food or entertainment"

Prós: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Contras: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."

Prós: "In JFK the Finnair staff helped us expedite our connection process (the flight from Helsinki was delayed and we hardly had time to make the connection)."
Contras: "The flight was delayed by almost 4 hours. It was a miracle we made our connection in JFK."

Prós: "The flight was late. Some people had problems to find place for their luggage, which took even more time until we were ready to take off."

Prós: "The flight came on time and arrived in Chicago on time. The crew were friendly."
Contras: "The sound was out on my chair, so there was no sound to the movies. The food was really kind of junky and I decided against eating most of it so I wouldn't make myself sick. The meals could really do with more produce and a few more vegan options."

Prós: "I most liked milk lactose low for my coffee . I can't criticize about food because I was offered only beverage this time with only an hour flight. Hehe ."
Contras: "Nothing made me uncomfortable except for the concern about stealers in most of Europe . I didn't experience it yet but tons of times I've heard about stories of tourists ."

Prós: "I like the Airbus A330 model's that AA flies from Charlotte on European destinations. They are the former USAir A330's and they are nice both in business and economy. There are no premium economy seats on this version. And Charlotte is an excellent airport to fly from/to."
Contras: "I wish there was a premium economy offering on this plane. The first row of economy is sold as such but is really nothing like prem economy apart from additional legroom."

Prós: "The crew was very nice and helpful. It was a short flight and we didn't get a meal, so it is hard to judge."
Contras: "My seat was backwards and I was sitting facing the salon."

Prós: "I did get to move away from complaining passengers but "lost my coat" in the process. People are awful and obnoxious"
Contras: "Who doesn't turn off the plane lights at night inside the cabin? Especially when you're feeling late at night? Didn't post gate until very last minute…LHR..Then it said boarding immediately. Nowhere to get water. Hurriedly Boarded plane to find out we have the sit there an hour. Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."

Contras: "Loading was like a cattle car. Drinks were slow to be offered. No drinks until after food was served more than one hour into the flight. No one ever seemed to check if I needed anything. When I did, there was no call-button. Seats were from the 90's and VERY narrow. I would NEVER pay for First/Business class on Finnair again. It was very poor."

Contras: "Terribly uncomfortable seats, very dated entertainment options, bland food."

Prós: "The service was remarkable. Everyone was very attentive and friendly which is exactly what you would want for a long flight. The crew came around frequently to provide beverages and left you alone to sleep."
Contras: "The boarding process was a bit hectic. The flight was full which I completely understand. After everyone was settled in the plane it took another 25 minutes to leave the runway."

Contras: "No in-flight entertainment and seats didn't recline well"

Prós: "British Airways did a very good job with everything. Pleasant crew,helpful attendants and great enterntainment. I loved the flight :)"

Contras: "Boarding was chaotic. Pre boading not enforced, all passengers boarding at the same."
