Contras: "Flight cancelled. Requested refund and was directed to my travel agency. Edreams was worst than useless: spent 10 hours waiting for them to pick up but no answer. JAL should allow the clients to bypass a travel agency in order to manage the flights. Otherwise we are hostages of the travel agencies."

My husband reserved my ticket going back to US. I was assigned to seat on an exit, but when I went to the gate , one of a female employee keeps telling me if I'm aware I'll be seating on an exit and I said yes , I look for a vacant seat so I can relax while waiting, she went back again and asked me if the front desk desk gave me any paper about the task I have to do when seating on an exit. I read it and understand . She came back again for the third time and borrow my boarding pass and check something and asked me if I want to transfer to another seat, and I said no. I don't know what she wants me to do , but I'm so irritated because she keeps asking me the same question over and over again."

Even more so when the food (though very Japanese) was quite good quality in economy. If you have to spend 10 hours or more crossing an ocean ANA is certainly a good bet, at least if you don't mind a bento box style meal."

Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. I'm super impressed to this attention to detail."

With two crying babies on the plane, I was trying to relax and sleep as much as possible on the 12.5 hr flight. What bothered me even more is that when the woman asked the flight attendant to tell me to put my seat up, the flight attendant complied instead of telling the woman it was my seat to do as I wished. Why make the seats recline if they are going to bother the people behind? Why tell me to put my seat up if it was not a requirement for all (ie during take off or landing)? I did not appreciate this and it made my flight extremely uncomfortable."

Prós: "The flight attendants waited for me at the gate since customs was backed up. They saw me running and told me it was ok. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"

However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve."

Prós: "The crew was fabulous. Beautifully dressed; impeccable makeup; very professional. Very friendly, helpful. PILOTS were amazing!!! GREAT FLIGHT, LITTLE TURBULENCE. LOVE the stickers found in the bag with the earphones, ("WAKE FOR FOOD", "DO NOT WAKE FOR FOOD", etc) but they were never mentioned by the crew. Found them by myself. I think more people would use if they knew about them. LOVE the gift bag with eye mask, etc. Very welcome gift."
Contras: "Seats are too small. Very difficult to stand up and get out of your seat. Even young people have trouble getting up and out into the aisle. The aisle is TOO NARROW! At least one seat on each row should be eliminated, as well as one row to give economy class room. I was on the aisle (seat D), and was unlucky to have a woman and her husband (seats E & F) ask me to get up several times (because passenger in seat G was asleep). I was not at all happy with the movie choices; they were mostly modern and violent. Food selection was unavailable. Menu choices were chicken & fish. Chicken was NOT AVAILABLE."

Contras: "Food quality, seat sizes, comfort of the seats is not good. There were belligerent passengers that kept on drinking alcohol on the flight and even lit up a cigarette in the restroom. The persons involved should have been arrested for causing a disturbance on the flight."
Contras: "I requested the waiter(Asian) to serve me a non-egg breakfast if there were any remaining. He curtly told me that if I had not pre-booked the non-egg breakfast he could not provide me. Few minutes later I made the same request to another waitress and she quickly provided me the non-egg breakfast."
