The plane wasn't too full and so I scooted over to the isle seat next to mine but again the resolution on the screen was so bad I couldn't read the intro comments to the movie, etc. They desperately need to update the entertainment system on that plane."

Prós: "I will only use Singapore Air for anywhere they fly. They really care about their passangers, 2 checked bags 1 carryon no charge, no airline does that. They constantly feed u & alcoholic beverages all at no extra charge. Flight attendants always have a smile on their flight. In flight entertainment was great, touch screen and remote controller. They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste."

Prós: "To be fair, my rating will be very high due to it being the first time flying Business Class on Singapore Airlines. Unfortunately it was a short flight so I didn't et a chance to experience the whole service properly as I needed. I felt like royalty with the service offered by your staff who consistantly came to check if everything was in order without making a nuisance. Fantastic food and beverage options too. Overall a great experience, but would have liked it to be a 12hr experience instead of 5."

Prós: "Check in and boarding were flawless. The flight left about one hour late. The seats in coach are getting smaller and smaller. I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"
Gostei particularmente da configuração da aeronave e a alimentação é péssima. Para servir aquele sanduiche é melhor não oferecer nada!!
Vôo convencional sem nada de especial
Meu embarque foi adiado por overbooking, ficamos várias pessoas, e dos que sobraram embarcaram várias senhoritas jovens e belas e deixaram dois homens , sendo eu com 66 anos e viajando só. Foi extremamente constrangedor e revoltante, e para piorar acharam que eu estava faminto oferecendo um burgking.é evidente que foi uma falta de respeito.
Ocorre que na conexão para amman, fizera overbooking, e os comissários do aeroporto, apesar de eu ter chegado antes e ser idoso, preferiram dar prioridade às mocinhas , e simplesmente me ignoraram, porém muito gentilmente me ofereceram um burger king.(isso é pra moleque de 10 anos) eu tenho 65 anos. O que me irritou, é a falta de atenção que eu e outro senhor recebemos. Totalmente groceiros e despreparados. Tinha horário para pegar um carro locado e hotel.
Companhia muito boa, aeromoças atendem com alegria e cordialidade. Comida boa.

Contras: "Boarding they kept me and couple othee guys like seeiously 5 staff people at the gate doing nothing and you ask anyone please help i want to tag my stroller so i can board ans go on boarding line, no response only one peeson will work. the rest of the four are completely useless, i eventually told my wife to board with our daughter so they have the time to sit and prepare food etc and pull things they will need durimg flight Andi waited on this last staff person at the gate until she gave me the tag to the stroller and boarded later First meal they said either fish or beaf meat balls, i like both and no problem, but the crew said no fish anymore so you you will take beaf, OK Luckily neither my wife or daughter ate it Because after I ate it, 3-4 hrs later, I had the worst stomach pain ever and was in pain the rest of the flight and the remaining of the day after we landed FYI I ate just crackers and like all bread sandwiches all morning and was completely fine- just the beaf meat balls either not cocked or remains of non good beaf and other things- horrible food"

We were running close to 2 km from one end of the airport to other with little kids barely making our flights. Boarding was on tarmac even for 747, once in rain once in 40C degrees."

Flight were delayed which made me miss all the other flights. Bags are still missing from 2 weeks ago. This airline is worse the Spirit Airlines!

Contras: "Not only the first flight got delayed for over 2 hours. I had to re-book the second - connecting - flight because of that. Now it made my layover instead of 1 h 45 m - 5 hours! Then the second flight got delayed!! So instead of 5 hours layover it was over 7 hours!!! Very inconvenient and upsetting experience. The only reason I booked these particular flights is because they were advertized as "the shortest trip" time on your website..."

Prós: "good service in spite of rather crammed conditions and short flight, UK newspaper was available, plenty of leg room (biz class consisting of one row in the front:))) - the lucky 4 in that 1st row were the only ones to get food, and also drink for free, it seems... and yes, the flight was short and otherwise uneventful, I was the 1st to walk off the plane."
Contras: "The plane was a tiny oldish commuter jet with 2 seats on each side of the aisle. In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

Contras: "The e ticket info didn't accord with the real ticket info such as gates so if you don't check out the bulletin board properly , you may wait in wrong gates but not that crucial. It's always about the airport problem with crowded passengers or in size not aeroplane. Everything is about time control . ICN is quite large in scale so I couldn't use duty free shop due to so many passengers and the spacious hallways even though I had 2hours . perhaps you gotta presume it as 3hours for enough time . so I had to throw out my lotion or moisturizer at ICN .pfff I wasted my money :p"

We rec'd an email from Kayak saying we could check in 36 hrs early - not so. Even at the 24 hr mark, we were unable to check in via Finnair - had to go to British Airways. Finnair was not represented at either airport - British Airways. On the return, British Airways canceled our flight (2 hrs before takeoff), and we could not get a non-stop flight home. This meant that we had to change terminals, retrieve our bags at the layover, recheck, etc. which of course, added 3 hrs to the original length of the trip. Where's our compensation? We paid for a round trip non-stop flight."

Food was very bland and took long to be served. Service and flight in general fell very very short of what I expected."
Prós: "I was running late getting through check-in because there was an abandoned backpack that caused a huge mob scene and delay. The American Airlines/(Finnair) check-in staff were WONDERFUL and made it all OK, pulling us out of the mob to get us through check-in. Then I went through security, which the check-in staff had tried to expedite, and got stopped for a random inspection. Then, after boarding passes were scanned, I was again stopped for a random search that took apart every zippered corner of my purse and my carry-on bag. But again, everyone was lovely to deal with. By the time I got on the plane I was grateful for having caught the flight, and for the kindness of the Paris staff, and marveling at what an obstacle course it had been. And I had enough leg room."
Contras: "1. The sound on my in-flight screen did not transmit the movie sounds, so I read a book all the way back. 2. The red wine was great to have. The food was like school cafeteria food, so I ate what I had brought with me. 3. The seats on airplanes never fit my body right. I sit very straight and upright, and I'm fairly tall. The airplane seats keep forcing my head forward and my back into a hunch."

Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Contras: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
