Prós: "Crew were great"
Contras: "Cabin kept very hot, very difficult to sleep. Seats were so-so comfortable"

Prós: "Flight was on time, service onboard inspite of short flight, and the scenery of the Alps was breathtaking"

Prós: "The food was great and the other flight attendants were kind and understanding."
Contras: "There was a flight attendant who was of an older demographic who was extremely rude to me and not accommodating at all to myself, my husband, or my children. She had an attitude and seemed irritated by my questions, concerns, and overall being there. We had an issue with seating and no seats together with our 4 and 7 year old."

Prós: "The seat was ok, I paid $ 115 per Trip ( total of $ 230) just to sit at the emergency exit to have some leg room and then I am sitting next to the bathroom and people stepping on my feet because they tend to hang out around the bathroom."
Contras: "The flight attendant not wearing perfume. Food was very poor to say the least."

Contras: "Voo com atraso de 40 minutos. Não deixaram os passageiros com conceção sair primeiro. Não havia ninguém para nos acompanhar. Ninguem sabia dar informações viemos para o hotel sem bagagem porque ninguém sabia quando chegava."

Contras: "Não pude fazer o vôo por falha grave da swiss que atrasou e não teve o cuidado de fazer com que os passageiros chegassem à sua conceção atempadamente. Senti-me muito desamparada."

Prós: "Enjoyed the surprisingly good vegetarian hot meal, wine, and chocolate! (And silverware) Said to us they cared for passengers and the environment. A much better overall experience than with United!"
Contras: "Plane did not have a place to switch to the other aisle without disturbing passengers or crew! You need to move a tad bit on such a long flight!"

Contras: "Without knowing it when I booked the flight, I purchased "economy light" fare. In this class checked luggage costs extra; $60.00 a piece. Star Alliance Gold status doesn't help here."

Prós: "They sale ticket to you and good bye....! U need little halpe or questions they say don’t now.....!!!! Call airline , airline say you didn’t buy ticket from as and you go beck and for straits out same we’re in Europe ......thank bot never again think twice when you bye ticket from kayak ....."

Once the person in front of me declined their seat the screen of the inflight entertainment system was right in front of my nose (no, my nose is not particularly long). I’ll consider flying Lufthansa or United next time - even if It required a stopover in Frankfurt or Munich."

Prós: "Special GF meals care on board, friendly staff, good food and drinks"

Contras: "The seating was almost unbearable. So small and cramped. Arm rest didn’t go all the way up so very hard to cuddle with my seat mate (my daughter). I couldn’t even put my arms by my side without pushing my seat neighbors off. Seat in front of me was in my lap. Hard to get out of seat to use restroom. Way to tight. Long flight from Boston to Zurich was so hard to bear. I understand making money...but this is ridiculous!!"

Prós: "The seats in exit row were large enough for me to straighten my legs"
Contras: "Very rude attendants. Also if you sit in the exit row they don’t let you put ANYTHING on your lap or by your feet, even a sweatshirt that you remove for a moment. I have never had this problem on any other airline."

Prós: "The line for screening for initial security at Ben Gurion was ridiculously long. Almost one hour in line before we even could be interviewed."

Prós: "It was an 8.5 hour flight and we got fed 2 meals, 2 snacks and had lots of beverage breaks! We were delayed a little but it was due to an issue in France, not anything to do with the airplane, and the captain found a solution faster than he had originally said he would (with the help of the tower of course)."
Contras: "The legroom in economy is just as bad as you would expect."

Contras: "When we arrived to Swiss desk, after checking in at home including choosing seats, we were sent to El Al desk and had to start everything from the start. We couldn't even choose seats . It was a great disappointment. We don't think we fly in Swiss again"

Contras: "They gave me and the 2 other black people who were flying, the seats all the way in the back. I'm never telling the people at check in "just give me any seat" ever again! It was so obvious I almost complained to all the attendants! I just tried to keep my cool... HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE TO EUROPE!"

Contras: "It was put on standby because of overbooking. My luggage did not arrive with me. Next day, getting luggage was a hassle, not convenient."

Prós: "Entertainment was excellent and they made it a very comfortable flight."

Contras: "This box blocked any room to stretch my legs. The flight was full and I did not have the chance of changing seats. Flying 13 hours in this situation is unacceptable."

Prós: "We liked the crew, and the service and the food. We liked the screens and the choice of movies and entertainment."
Contras: "The seats were a bit close, but not terrible. The seats themselves were comfortable."

Contras: "My seat had been given to someone else also, and they boarded before me, so I had no seat for some time. I was told to stand in the back, which I did for a long time. Eventually I sat down on the edge of a place and a stewardess snapped at me. I've had back surgery recently, so all of this was very difficult. Finally given a seat. No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

Contras: "Terrible plane ; no room , the most miserable flight we have ever been on"

Contras: "I paid for a seat on the aisle with extra leg room. Seat 24D. There was only minimal foot space because of some type of metal box under seat 23D. I don't think that I should had to pay $45 for the extra leg room just to receive cramped foot space."

Contras: "While the weather delay was out of everyone’s control and it was obvious the pilot was doing everything he could to get the pale airborne... i feel their could have been better communication from the ground as to our take off time. They kept changing our time and thus we were trapped on the tarmac for 4 hrs. Had we known, some of us could have gotten off the plane and rerouted so as not to miss our connecting flight. We and others were stuck in Atlanta, had t okay for a hotel....and missed a day of vacation....☹️"

Contras: "even though I was in Delta One -- the seats in the reclined position were kind of narrow, arm rests in the way made it difficult to turn over, IF I were trying to sleep. but i loved being in first class -- the only way to go on a long flight :)"

Prós: "Zee was our flight attendant and she was absolutely wonderful. Personable, attentive, and she made sure each and every person on the plane was comfortable and happy, going so far as to move solo passengers to empty rows so they could have more space. I wish she could be on every flight I take."

Contras: "Crew could have proactively provided more water. I was really thirsty mid-flight and had to stand up and ask for water myself."

Contras: "delta security in the UK is an absolute farce. The security screening at LHR was long and understaffed"

Prós: "Very friendly cabin crew. Comfortable and food was good and drinks and water was plentiful. I would highly recommend Delta for transatlantic flights,compared to so called 4* airline Aer Lingus, then Delta are a 6* in comparison"

Plane itself was very modern and surprisingly comfortable, as much as a small space can be. Good amount of entertainment, and the crew were pleasant. And flight itself was smooth with very little turbulence which helps!"
Contras: "Had to pay for food, which was a little annoying considering the cost of the flight. Entertainment was very American led... but I guess not surprising considering it’s delta."

Contras: "The flight numbers that Kayak provides ate not unusable and do not match any flights with the airline. Terribly inconvenient. A call to WestJest referred me to contact Delta. The Delta rep was able to help me. The airlines provided good service. But I probably will avoid booking with Kayak again."

Contras: "flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way"

Prós: "The plane left on time and arrived on time."
Contras: "I did not like the fact that the food they served made my child sick. But hey, that is a given. Most airplane food sucks. But it shouldn't make a person sick. The flight staff was okay, but not nearly as professional and friendly as the crew flying to Lisbon. Thankfully none of them ran over my foot with the metal cart."

Contras: "The plane was supposed to leave Lisbon at 5:00 a.m. but because of computer problem it left at 5:50, a delay that caused everyone to scramble to get to their connecting flight or even miss it."

The seating chart when I chose seats showed only 2 seats on each side. However there were 3 regular seats on each side, just like economy. Not a nice surprise."

Contras: "The delay on embarking into the plane. Stayed on the bus, in from of the plane for about 15 minutes and I thought I was in an sauna. and on the departure was delay for about 15 minutes . The crew was OK but nothing out of the ordinary."

Prós: "The crew was incredibly kind and welcoming! And it wasn't a packed flight which made it much more comfortable."

Prós: "It’s always a pleasure, easy and organized to fly with you. I have been using Lufthansa for the last 3 years, every time I must fly because of the quality of service and of its crew."

Contras: "We waited for an hour at the gate for other passengers, to where we missed our connection in Chicago and did not get back to Austin, TX for another 24 hours."

Contras: "Paid WiFi didn’t work for half the flight. They should post a map with when it works (above which countries) as apparently it’s a licensing issue."

Contras: "Boarding got a little bit chaotic for families with small children."

Contras: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Prós: "Used both front and back doors to board the plane."
Contras: "Unfortunately, boarding wasn't well organized. It would have been more helpful if rows (1 through X) used the front door and rows (X+1 through Y) used the back door. We had people seated in the front of the plane using the back door and people in the back of the plane using the front door. It slowed the whole process down and was rather chaotic."

Contras: "The flight boarded late, and very slowly, and took off late as a consequence. Thus, landing late. The inflight entertainment is only accessible with aps that you need to download before you get on the plane, when, of course, you don't know you need them. A remarkably illogical process."

Contras: "All bathroom downstairs, crammed stairs long long waiting , no room to wait for your turn"

Contras: "Lufthansa does not honor frequent flyer statuses of any of their alliance partners in regards to seat upgrades. Being 6'4", the ability to upgrade to economy plus/premium is important on long-haul flights. Everything else about Lufthansa is excellent, but I will not book with Lufthansa for long flights anymore because of this. I'll stick with United from now on."

Contras: "Boarding process is a bit chaotic since they dont go by group, but by class. Seats in Business class are no different than economy."

Prós: "This was my first international flight, and also first on Lufthansa, and I was thoroughly impressed. We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed"

Contras: "Half the screens were not working - crew were made aware but nothing was done. Vegetarian choices were poor to non-existent ; I witnessed crew insist to a passenger that there were no vegetarian options! They finally cobbled something together for him but not a pleasant experience"

Prós: "economy plus seats were nice, great movie selection, especially international movies"

They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us."

Prós: "The food rocks! I know that I will always be eating well with KLM. The staff is always so nice, professional and cordial...I always know I'll be in good hands with the flight."

Contras: "Very small seats with no leg room and very little room on either side. The food was bad - even when compared to other airplane food. Plane is kept too warm."

Contras: "Have to lay over on the way back. More expensive than other airlines."

Contras: "Our two hour connection in Paris became 30 minutes because Air France was late in leaving Washington. So our luggage didn't make to to KLM to Amsterdam. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Contras: "... ear plugs, masks, good food or even picking seats? I remember when it was all complementary and standard on overnight flights. Oh, and the vegetarian breakfast was unfortunately poor as well. I know you can do better, because you used to."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Prós: "Pretty basic one hour flight so there's not much to complain about or praise about. I got some sleep which was good."
Contras: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."

Prós: "The flight attendants could not do enough for you."
Contras: "Business class was pretty empty but again I was not allowed to change my seat selection online. Pathetic check-in."

Contras: "Delta please make excellence a priority in all areas of customer service. Set high standards for staff so customers know that you appreciate them and are ready for business. The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Contras: "Even though the plane was far from full, passengers were allowed only 1 carry-on item (no personal item), contrary to policy published online by Air France. This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good. I did not find the seats comfortable."

Contras: "Downgrade without notice or consent separating family. Paid full fare for family to travel business class together. AF without our knowledge downgraded one member, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. They offered no compensation, no apology, and CDG ground crew was terribly rude. All anyone said was, nothing to be done, now please Leave"

Prós: "The service and food were excellent plane was clean."

Contras: "Our first leg from Paris was delayed and we missed our flight to Dubrovnik. We then had to hire a car and drive 6 hours to ensure we wouldn't lose a day more of our holiday."

Contras: "Seat configuration as a first class ticket was awful. Same configuration as economy class but by leaving the middle seat empty constituted first class. I'm 6'-1" and missed the legroom...."

Contras: "delay for one hour with not even a glass of water very old plan video with tiny screens and bad resolution food quality especially bread is not good"

Prós: "movies were good, crew was great. Comfy seats. It was really as nice as an economy flight could be."

Contras: "2 crew members, one named Terri were quite rude and short with us. I even heard her say she was ready to get off the flight. She also asked everyone around me if they liked their flight but did not ask me. She basically threw my coffee condiments at me and dismissed my concerns about the food. I was unsure if the fruit was expired and she quickly dismissed my question without any real explanation."

Prós: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."
