Contras: "Boarding from Delhi was slow. Families with small kids and seniors were asked to board but the aircraft was not accessible for more than 15 minutes. The cabin service was very slow and started good two hours after the take off from Delhi. The coffee/tea were Lukewarm."

Prós: "We flew business class from Dubai to D.C., and the VERY long trip was made so much more endurable with all the amenities offered. For example: - fully reclining seats with mattresses that enable sleep - attentive, thoughtful service - a lounge in which to get a drink or snacks, relax, talk with people - good food and drink - a personal bar at your seat with water and soft drinks We've also flown Emirates in tourist class, and it, too, is far superior to most other airlines. There's more seat room, more leg room, good service, clean bathrooms, and decent food and drink."

The ICE is a brilliant entertainment system; giving an array of films to watch and games to play. The cabin crew were polite, friendly and helpful, and gave an excellent service as one would expect from travelling business."
Contras: "The interior of the 777-300 was outdated, especially knowing that 777's have gone through an interior overhaul, so I was unfortunate to not be on of those refurbished planes. The food and the Virgin Mojito was not the best as I did expect it to better considering this was a business class. And the ICE tablet and its remote is not the most userfriendly nor responsive to use, as it does get a bit fiddly."

Contras: "This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

Prós: "The entertainment options were great! And, they have free wine with meals."
Contras: "There was no leg room at all in economy. My knees were in the seat of the person in front of me. Most of the food was terrible and I only ate the bread. The TV is on the back of the seat in front of you and is a touch screen. You have to touch pretty hard. So, every time the person behind me was scrolling, they had to hit my seat. I couldn't sleep the entire 16 hours more than 30 minutes. I asked for water to take some medicine and was told it was 30 minutes til food service and to wait. It was over 2 hours before they started food service."

Prós: "The flight attendants were very cheerful. There was a good variety of movies and other entertainment."
Contras: "The issue is the electronics ban which is not the fault of Emirates. An extra bottle of wine was requested after dinner which never arrived. During boarding, it was difficult to know which group was boarding when."

Prós: "On our onward flight from Orlando to Dubai, the crew made sure the flight was always clean (specially the toilets - they really cleaned them up every 30 mins) Not so much on the same flight returning from Dubai to Orlando - toilets get wet and messy after about 5 hours and were never cleaned after."

Contras: "It was a little noisy in our seats (we were next to one of the crew areas). But the biggest gripe was about the way we were treated when queuing. We all expect to have to wait our turn but it's incredibly frustrating when 1) the system isn't fair (eg splitting a queue into two then allowing those behind you to go to the front of a new line) and 2) treating us like second class by drawing a curtain in front of our faces so Business class people don't have to see us when they disembark."

Prós: "Though I was never sent an email for my daughter's check in, I had a different reservation for her but still under my name and same email, when I called on the phone the people were pleasant. They still never provided me with an email though and information allowing me to have my daughter checked in. they only provided me with her reference number."
Contras: "All in all we had a poor experience and my family and I were disappointed. I'm about to book yet another ticket for my brother, but this time I'm not considering Swiss Air. Just so you know, I'm a very positive person and appreciate every polite and courteous gesture. Unfortunately this experience didn't allow me to do so."

The seats were fairly comfy and there was actually room! Even when the person in front of me leaned back, my legs still didn't touch the back of the seat (I'm 5-10 with long legs). Prós: "The food,crew and flight were flawless. Our flight scheduling had us connecting within a thirty minute period in zurich and we had to run to catch the flight. Probably would have missed the connection if our 26 year old son didn't run ahead. Too much drama and no one from swiss air to help. Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

Disney tried hard to fix problem, and even gave us something to ameliorate the situation. Delta took hard line, wasn't helpful and gave nothing. It took 2 days to find bag."

Prós: "I am used to flying Frontier because of cost but recently traveled Delta and boy did I feel completely spoiled! Not only did my other half get our bags for free due to his status with Delta but the amenities they offer and the comfort of the economy seats compared to other airlines is a major difference. As a chronic pain patient, if I can find a Delta flight for a little more, I will be booking with them for sure! Highly recommend them!"

I like that I can choose the entertainment I want and that everything is at my fingertips including flight info, food and beverage options, etc. it’s relatively comfortable but it’s not near the level of Virgin America or JetBlue."
Contras: "I’m not sure if it is due to LAX construction but it is chaotic at the airport. It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

Contras: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

Prós: "In general, everything was ok aboard the plane."
Contras: "The plane was supposed to leave Lisbon at 5:00 a.m. but because of computer problem it left at 5:50, a delay that caused everyone to scramble to get to their connecting flight or even miss it."

Contras: "The plane was older 747-400 but that is no excuse for the layers of dirt or dust on the air vents and ceilings. I actually took a photos and will be forwarding to Lufthansa. The couple in front of us actually took a wet wipe and wiped down there area and ceiling. Also the boarding process was a mess we actually were taken by bus to the aircraft that was at the freight depot and had to climb stairs to get on the 747. I’m not sure how they handle the passengers with mobility issues. First time flying with a European airline and I was told the service was better not on this flight."

The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Contras: "KLM lost my suitcase and did not deliver it until three days later... They refused to compensate me for having delivered the bag with broken articles inside (A pair of Rayban Wayfarers!)"

Prós: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Contras: "Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

Prós: "Good food, good entertainment system, comfortable seating."
Contras: "Only one toilet working in business class. A crew member told me that it was a decision to fly with only one toilet to ensure no delay. There was a disgusting stench of sewerage for the complete flight from Amsterdam to Johannesburg. This was in all likelihood due to the broken toilet on the left side."
