Contras: "They have less space to move your feet and after a while your left knee begins to hurt because you have been sitting in the plane for a long time. Whenever I asked to get a drink of water or soft drinks, it took the flight attendant 10-15 minutes to arrive with my drink. I understand she was occupied with other duties, but she should have made me her priority."

The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Contras: "The customer service is terrible. They refused to accommodate me for a 19 hour layover with a complimentary airport hotel stay, claiming there was an earlier flight--that was still 12 hours away, that I would have to pay to book anyway. Pure scam to get you to pay to upgrade your flight, pay for hotel or be condemned to stay in there airport for a whole day. Never ever again! Don't fly them!"

Contras: "Almost missed my flight. I had to take a bus, go through a transfer check, and then take a train to the gate, which got me there so late (even with running) that they were calling my name (and a few others) over the loud speaker."

Contras: "Check in staff and customer service reps were unprofessional and unhelpful. We had an 8 hour layover on both legs, no access to the lounge or a hotel was provided. I explained we were on our way to our wedding and it would be nice to have some rest. They were rude with the way they told us no, they even suggested we sleep on the floor of the airport. We ended up paying for the lounge, but then so did about 1000 other people, there was no room for us to sit together. My wife's allergy free meal wasn't provided on the first flight. We had to speak to about 5 people to get a meal ticket at the airport and they were very reluctant to give us one. I told them she was hungry and needed to eat. They told us we could take the meal we got with the ticket on board, when we went to use the ticket we had no choice in meal, were given a coke at 6am and weren't allowed to heat up our meal or take it on board. In summary, all the cabin crew on all 4 flights were excellent. Staff at Doha airport were incredibly poor."

Prós: "The crew on the flight was excellent. They'll bring you pretty much anything reasonable you ask for. In flight entertainment options were many. I don't eat a lot of airline food, but the meals exceeded my expectations."
Contras: "I am quite tall (6'5"/1.92m), the in flight comfort was brutal. It'll take my knees a week or two to forget the constant jamming from the seat in front of me. Otherwise, on boarding was well organized, but very slow. Sound quality on provided headphones was very poor."

Prós: "This is our first time flying Emirates and we were very happy with the airline's comfort, food & crew. We would definitely fly with them again. They also have checked bags at no additional charge."
Contras: "As with every other airline the boarding stinks. Everybody cues up even when their zone is not called because they want first access to the overhead space. I also don't like being charged extra to pick my seats."

I had layover period of 10hrs on.my return leg and about 6/7hrs. These are extremely long hours to sleep on those uncomfortable lounge chairs. This was the worst experience in my flying time."

Missed connection to Manchester. Paid for my own hotel room overnight in Paris CDG. Flight will arrive a day late in Manchester. That means I have missed my flights from Manchester to UK with Air Lingus (booked through Kayak website) It seems I must now purchase a new ticket to get home from Manchester to Nashville. All expenses I can ill afford. Lesson learned...cannot afford to use Kayak anymore...sorry."

I notice that where others have chocolate pudding, for example, I get fruit. I like fruit... but a piece of cake or some other sweet is good too!"

Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane."
