Contras: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"
Prós: "It was a pleasant enough trip. Friendly crew, surprisingly decent food for a flight, and some decent entertainment available, though admittedly my headphones broke within a couple of hours for some reason, but by then I was nearly asleep anyway."

Finnair can work harder to keep customer service quality high. Hate to say it, but perhaps letting the bitter, last generation flight attendants who seem to have a grudge about the decline of the glamour and benefits of the job as flying has become commonplace with more competition (seen this on Finnair & N America’s older airlines line United)"

Contras: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."
Prós: "I flew with American to London and with British in the way back... British air is such a nicer experience from the food, to the crew, to the entertainment."

Prós: "The flight was operated by Iberia. The crew was very good, the flight was on time and it was a comfortable flight. It was not a full flight (either way to or from Madrid) and there was plenty of room to spread out and sleep which was nice. The entertainment system was great with many options from TV to movies to games and music. The food was only fair but included a meal and a large snack. I will definitely take this flight again."

Contras: "The vegetables in the meal / salad were still frozen….inedible. In the morning in the asian vegetarian meal it was simply fruit…that was it. No protein source. I have been on many BA flights and the food has not been this poor, so not sure if the carrier who services food source has changed."

Other than that we arrived safely, so I'm very appreciative."

I would have preferred not gone on my trip then fly this airline!"

Prós: "On our longer flight, we were thrilled- nice crew, delicious food, spacious, great pilot, and enjoyable entertainment experience. However, on our shorter flight from Brussels to telaviv, not only was the crew completely inattentive, but they were intentive to some very disturbing things including children who were pulling the hair of other customers and jumping up-and-down in the aisles of the airplane. There was no available entertainment whatsoever. In addition the food was extremely expensive and not particularly tasty. The plane was uncomfortable and smelled atrocious. These 2 vastly different experiences almost made me feel like I was taking 2 different airlines. Please keep consistency."
Contras: "I didn't like the inconsistency of the 2 different planes that I was on. If you are going to have entertainment you should have some form of it on all of your airplanes. The idea that food that you need to buy is so expensive is absurd. I was really blown away by how badly the plane smelled. It was almost as if I was in a bathroom. And on top of that I really felt very unsafe with children jumping up-and-down kicking people pulling their hair etc. While it isn't the job of the flight attendants to be parents, they certainly need to be aware of safety concerns for the rest of the passengers."

Prós: "We were delayed boarding slightly, delayed sat on a steaming gate shuttle then sat on the tarmac for a couple of hours while storms passed. But the crew gave regular updates, provided food and water, allowed us to walk about. It was as plesent as such a situation could be."

Contras: "Switched plane from Brussels to United which saves us 3hrs but then they lost our luggage. This was after we asked them to double-check. They told us that our luggage had been logged-in to our new flight. We are very disappointed in Brussel airline and will not use them again."
Prós: "We didn’t have assigned seats, we tried to pick the night before. Anyway they sat us very near each other. It was a nice flight."
Contras: "We got zero offer of beverages during our flight, even a cup of water! Glad we bought our own. It seemed like one of the flight attendants was in a flight with a customer during boarding."

They walked up and down the aisle with aerosol spray cans. I don't think people should be subject to unknown chemicals in order for the airline to save time on cleaning the cabin before take off."

I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Thank God éthiopien Airline was more affordable."

Prós: "Departure and arrival was on time"
Contras: "Very narrow and very uncomfortable seats. Didn't have any free snacks or drinks. I asked about free water, the crew even didn't offer to bring it. For free water you have to go to the back of the airplane to get a small cup. Didn't have any entertainment."
Contras: "Flight delayed and waited over an hour at baagage claim .no one to speak to or help. Worker at baggage claim sitting on phone ."
Prós: "Whatever positive experience we had was overwhelmed by careless handling of our luggage."
Contras: "Luggage nor sent from Brussels to Florence. On day 2 they had no clue where our 2 pieces were. Both pieces were bar-coded and there was. File complaint number did not help. we travel regularly and it has been many years sine we had luggage problems."
Contras: "Very dirty plane, limited space poor customer service. Took pictures of stained trays, seats. Very gross."
Prós: "I was able to get home the next day rerouted with Lufthansa and they did provide a hotel and gave us a 15$ voucher."
Contras: "Missed an important day of work. Sat in the airport for 5 hours with little to no comunication from staff. They would constantly tell us they will make an announcement in 5 minutes but never had. JFK Terminal 1 is very unconfortable so that made the stay worse. The problem I had was with the fact that they could not tell us straight we are not going to fly."
Contras: "Brussels Airlines was obviously throwing around the luggage as my hard shell suitcase was cracked irreparably when it arrived at the carousel."
Contras: "The flight was delayed significantly and led to a travel nightmare and us missing an important meeting."

Contras: "There was not enough space for our luggage so we had to carry it for the whole flight, the crew didn't even care and there were extremely rude and not nice when we asked where could we leave our luggage, they said no. The flight was delayed for 90 minutes. TERRIBLE airline"

Contras: "- No order to the boarding in Brussels. I am used to boarding in zones so things tend to be less congested leading up to the jetway. - This may or may not have been something the airline could have changed but sitting in the plane for 5 hours waiting to de-ice was unacceptable. The entire food service was served in this time so no food was available for the 6 hour flight to Accra. Had we been able to wait in the terminal, passengers could get their own food and the food for the flight could have been saved. Also, they ran out of chicken dishes by the time I was served and I was left with fish only. Had I been a vegetarian, this would have been unacceptable."
Contras: "Audio didn't work, broken tray that the food and drink could fall, unresponsive crew staffs (they consistently ignored my call and even turned off the call light above my seat-they just didn't do anything)"
Prós: "I hated that I had to do my own check in, the flight check in and the luggage dropping. I was unsure as id I had done it correctly, and even after the staff revised my luggage drop reciept, the luggae was not delivred appropriately. The flight was delayed, which made me have to o rush all over LHR, where I pretended to have breakfast."
Contras: "Unpolite and stressed, rushy staff on board. On top of that, all the running throgh costumes and pretty much the whole LHR airport, and what I hated the most was my luggage arriving 12hrs late."
Contras: "the airbus apparently has warm spots, and could not avoid being too warm for international flight. Once arrived in Malaga, Spain, no signs whatsoever telling me to go to different baggage belt to find my luggage."
Contras: "I was unable to check-in online, Lufthansa said see Brussels Airlines and Vice Versa. The check in process at Dulles was very poor (this was the Brussels Airlines desk) Chaotic would sum it up best. The meal on the flight was very poor, even the staff apologized before I said anything, they were quite embarrassed. Hopefully the flight back on Lufthansa will be a huge improvement !!"
