Contras: "The arm rest between seats doesn't raise to the full upright position, only one-half way. The TV needed to be reset by the purser due to it being stuck on kiddie mode. If you're a snacker, bring food."

Prós: "I have Parkinson's disease, and my ability to walk is dependent on how long it has been since I last took carbidopa/levodopa, and how much I have exercised while standing since taking my medicine. I have difficulty walking narrow aisles, and in crowds. The staff was very understanding, and let me pre-board, ensured someone was there to help me deplane, carried my carry-on for me, and did everything possible to assist me. The crew/staff was wonderful!"

On the way back they didn't even offer me the second meal GF, I had to ask another flight attendant who went looking for it and found one.. so it was there, they just hadn't bothered to look for it. I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line."
Prós: "This is not my first experience with Finnair flight and I'm very pleased with a consistency of a good service, high professionalism and I will recommend this airline to all my friends."
Contras: "Crew members were almost non-existent. Saw them beginning and end of flight only and this was not even red eye flight. Food quality was very poor for premium seating. Many on board had to approach flight crew in back of cabin to get something to drink throughout he 10 hour flight."
Contras: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

And, if this flight is not going to offer the amenities accustomed to a typical trans-atlantic flight (such as in-seat TV), then the price should be substantially cheaper. I will be complaining to the airline itself for this, and may not fly this airline again."
Prós: "I was running late getting through check-in because there was an abandoned backpack that caused a huge mob scene and delay. The American Airlines/(Finnair) check-in staff were WONDERFUL and made it all OK, pulling us out of the mob to get us through check-in. Then I went through security, which the check-in staff had tried to expedite, and got stopped for a random inspection. Then, after boarding passes were scanned, I was again stopped for a random search that took apart every zippered corner of my purse and my carry-on bag. But again, everyone was lovely to deal with. By the time I got on the plane I was grateful for having caught the flight, and for the kindness of the Paris staff, and marveling at what an obstacle course it had been. And I had enough leg room."
Contras: "1. The sound on my in-flight screen did not transmit the movie sounds, so I read a book all the way back. 2. The red wine was great to have. The food was like school cafeteria food, so I ate what I had brought with me. 3. The seats on airplanes never fit my body right. I sit very straight and upright, and I'm fairly tall. The airplane seats keep forcing my head forward and my back into a hunch."
Prós: "Crew were nice, and since it was actually an AA flight we got upgraded to economy plus. And the price couldn't be beat!"

Contras: "Packed in like sardines. Flight attendant would not take the half full cup of coffee from me about 30 minutes before landing so I had to deal with not spilling it during deplaning. Connecting flight was 1hr and 40 min and they refused to give us water! Got to Budapest to find that the ticket Agent had routed three of our 4 bags to Budapest and one to Prague! How much worse could it possibly get!"

They would constantly tell us they will make an announcement in 5 minutes but never had. JFK Terminal 1 is very unconfortable so that made the stay worse. The problem I had was with the fact that they could not tell us straight we are not going to fly."

The first row in coach has 3 seats and be row behind has 4 meaning that you are 4 people sharing 3 screens and seat pockets. No room to put your legs under the seat in front of you because they are not aligned with the seats in front. I fly all the time and have never seen this. I am short and has absolutely no room for myself or even my iPad and headphones. Horrible experience. Never flying with Brussels airlines on a transatlantic again!"
Contras: "Could not get my boarding pass before reaching my last terminal because it was not ready from Montreal or Toronto, and no staff were available elsewhere in the airport. this prevented me from making necessary purchases to bring with me to Kinshasa, my final destination."

Contras: "Seats: Why is that head rest attachment on the seat? It's AWFUL! It forces your neck in a very bad position. You have to be tall to use it properly. There should be a way to remove it for those of us too short to use it as it was meant to be used. The food on this flight was not the worst I have ever had but it certainly was not goo either. Two rice dishes...why? Boarding seemed to be slow and a bit unorganized. Why not board by seat zones?"
