Prós: "This was my first and last time I will ever fly with Swiss airline-it’s been 4 days and I still didn’t receive my baggage and I had all my medicines in them,that’s including my carry on bag too,because it was taking from me @ the gate and I was told I will get it at my final destination,which I didn"

When I did the check in in Prague and got my boarding pass the told me that the system picked me to have the additional random checkup at Zurich airport. Its ok. If it’s done for security reason why to tell the people ahead of time that they will have additional checkup of bags and personal stuff. If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Prós: "We flew Miami to Zurich, then Zurich to Rome. The international leg was awesome. The intra-European flight was less impressive. We “self-boarded” which was new to us - and wasn’t explained. The seats were smaller and there was only the drop down screens for every 2-3 rows, but otherwise, for a less than 2 hr flight, it was fine."
Contras: "Boarding wasn’t fully explained for those of us who are not Swiss or German. I slept thru “lunch,” which apparently was a sandwich - but that’s more than many American airlines provide you on similar flights!"

Contras: "Was sent through two redeem security screenings. In Zürich. I doubt this was the airline's fault but it had been a very early morning and it was challenging to remain patient."

Prós: "There was a half hour delay due to some no-show passengers. The flight was delayed while their bags were removed. The problem was explained well. The flight crew seemed to made up for much of the delay by flying faster or more directly so the total flight time did not increase by 30 minutes. Fortunately this was our final flight segment so the delay was not a problem."

Contras: "As a person of color I didn't feel that I received the same warm welcome from some of the attendants. For example the expression on their faces were blank when I said hello. I picked up my food tray and gave it to the attendants very politely. She just took it out of my hand. When the passenger next to me did the same she said thank you very politely. He was Caucasian. Some were very friendly and polite."

Upon arrival at airport we were sent to gate for flight 813 when printed the tickets (for 811). VERY confusing. No notice from Kayak on the change, and Kayak still showed us on the 813."

I have flown Lufthansa before and was very pleased .... but lunches/dinners served with cold wet bread leaves a lot to be desired. Also, when the individual in font of you reclines their seat, it becomes almost impossible to eat your meal. Overall still better than other airlines ... but clear that economy seating is like sitting in the back of the boat with little regard for the passenger."

Contras: "11 hours of crying babies was too much. The practice of placing 4 cribs together on the bulkhead encouraged one baby to set the others off screaming. The toddler siblings then started fussing, the parents were then jumping up and down, jostling the other passengers, it was a nightmare! Hated every minute of it."

This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Contras: "Paid $70 for seat with more leg room and was the exit role to main entrance. No overhead space for carry on: broken food tray holder. People stepping on my feet. And gather in your space waiting for bathrooms. Window seat had no room for feet because of closed door"

Contras: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Contras: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Contras: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Thats not a good service for a long trip fligt: washington-copenhagen and back. All other Airlines i have been with gives you a choice to choose between 2 different meals, buT SAS they decide for you ! And i have never seen any airline serve pork/ ham because of different believes people have, but SAS service you pork on an international 8 hours flight ! This is first time and last time I’m gonna fly with SAS. I always fly with KLM , perfect in everything and anyway. NO MORE SAS FOR ME !"

Prós: "Every one from the check-in counter to the baggage claim was gracious, courteous and very interested in my well-being. It was quite a lovely experience.."

Prós: "Quite a contrast between international and domestic flights. SAS had a blanket, pillow, water bottle, and earbuds on each seat. We were served TWO meals including a full dinner. Flight crew was very polite and responsive."

Contras: "We got moved twice and then to a middle seat. Why have checking at all?"

Prós: "Went to help desk in Stockholm on arrival to change seats. Earlier flight with better seats at no additional charge was offered and taken. Easy boarding and nice short hop to Oslo."

Prós: "The crew was friendly. There were many empty seats so I had a row to myself."
Contras: "Being jolted by turbulence and turbulence while landing. Boarding in Thessaloniki was a little uncomfortable as we had to stand in a hot bus with no circulation on the tarmac while waiting for all passengers to board."

Contras: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"

Contras: "When trying to board in Copenhagen there were some mishaps, but these were mainly caused by people ignoring signs along the way. They did not offer any complimentary snacks at all. Only one drink"

Contras: "The flight arrived an hour late."

Prós: "Movie selection"
Contras: "The flight attendants were rude. Not once was water offered. Only one drink cart for >8 flight."

Prós: "Once again the atmosphere was terrific. The cleanliness of the plane was good. The staff was awesome."

Prós: "Great entertainment in modern plane with good service."
Contras: "Having to purchase alcohol is annoying on transatlantic. At least offer a wine or two."

Contras: "Delayed flights, microphone is too fuzzy, hard to understand. Also why couldn't we get 2 or more sodas.. Crazy! The Asian airlines beat you! Very expensive stuff like a small red bottle of wine was like almost $15! Nuts... Very disappointed.. It should be free for the money we pay! Also staff just let people leave their windows open which was crazy coz most passengers are tired from other trips and of course in Europe you can hardly see anyone letting the elderly and children have any first priority boarding or let alone line up. I had my disabled husband and a young active little grandchild... Cathay Pacific, PAL,KAL, CAL are great about priority boarding for the elderly and children. Its sad your company do not have compassion or empathy for families with little children and the elderly population.. They really suffer!"

Prós: "Very professional and accommodating staff. Acceptable food. Efficient and on time boarding."
Contras: "The seats were comfortable but legroom was too little to get comfortable on such a long flight."

Contras: "I could not check in online for this leg of the trip and so could not simply go to a baggage drop line. The company handling checkin dealt with 4 or 5 airlines. It was not clear from iceland air website that i had to checkin with SAS. First stood in line for iceland air then had to go stand in line again for company handling SAS. Spent way too much time online doing this. Otherwise trip was fine."

Contras: "I and my 2 children, 10 and 8, thought the dinner was really bad. Also, entertainment selection was lacking. Other than that I thought sas did a great job with the flight."

Contras: "My luggage was lost"

Prós: "The flight was on time and the crew was friendly"
Contras: "My luggage did not follow me to Geneva as it was supposed to do. I hope it will come today in Annecy where I am staying."

Prós: "Efficiency, confidence, promptness"
Contras: "The meals were mediocre and should be up to the standard of the rest of SAS service. The selection of movies could have been wider. They do help pass the time."

Prós: "All of it."
Contras: "None of it."

Contras: "Reindeer sandwich? Come on really?"

Contras: "Norwegian gives you nothing on international flights. We got no meal, no blanket, no pillow, and no leg room. The flight attendants never came by to give out drinks, or even to take trash. We could not even get a glass of water. They were not concerned at all with whether we had a pleasant flight."

Prós: "Easy boarding, entertainment"
Contras: "Crew was not very friendly on bot departure and return flights. Will make me reconsider Air France in the future."

Prós: "Crew asked us if we’d like to move to an empty row to be more comfortable without us even requesting it."
Contras: "Bigger coffee cups? Really nothing to complain about. Everything I would expect from a flight. A++"

Contras: "Comfort plus seats need some work. Very thin padding on a hard seat. The leg rest needs to come up higher so you don’t slide down while semi reclined. Nice compromise between business and coach though."

Contras: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Contras: "Very cramped seat on the TGV train. I will definitely choose and pay a seat on my own next time, rather than accepting the on picked by Air France... And it will be cheaper, too!"

Contras: "Seats were too close together."

Prós: "The seat was very comfortable."
Contras: "My boyfriend and I were required to gate check our carry-on luggage which required us to go through customs in Paris to get to our bag and re-enter security for our connecting international flight. I am unsure why this was the case as other passengers brought the same size luggage. Very upsetting."

Contras: "boarding groups were not adhered to and those in a lower boarding group often boarded well after those in later boarding groups."

Prós: "Bag was sent straight to NY although Norwegian screwed it up. Am yet to receive my luggage."

Prós: "Entire trip was easy and comfortable."

Contras: "Placed in last row w/ non-reclining seats, even though bought tix 7 months early. We travel w/ only carry-on bags. AF allows 35 kg each but only 12 kg in cabin. I asked, online, twice, if we could have a couple of extra kg for hand pieces. Rec’d only auto. luggage policy. Forced to check both bags."

Contras: "Poor service. Terrible food. Aging aircraft. Terrible in-flight entertainment system. Really not good AirFrance."

Contras: "It was a great flight can’t think of anything"

Prós: "The crew was amazingly helpful. My son was having some anxiety and they went out their way to make him comfortable. They were the best!"

Prós: "The crew was very accommodating. I couldn’t have ask for anything better...pass on my praise to the flight crew of 0083"
Contras: "Nothing"

Contras: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."

Contras: "Arrived 5 hours late"

Contras: "Missed the flight due to late landing from earlier connection"

Contras: "Departure delayed, reschedules and then cancelled without any direct notification to us with 2 first class tickets !! If we didn’t have Kayak we would be sitting in the airport !,,"

Prós: "Staff was so helpful and attentive to our needs.Providing service with a smile."

Prós: "That I was able to sleep a bit on the flight - and that we gained an hour."
Contras: "It left at 6 am. Which means we had a wake up call from the airport hotel at 3:30 am to stand in line with hundreds of others. The Air France app on my phone didn't let me pre- check in."

Contras: "Separated me and my wife for the whole flight! Could not accommodate us together. This reservation was made over 6 weeks ago !!!"

Prós: "Very good male crew member. Pilot genuinely apologetic for the delay."
Contras: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Contras: "We paid for Business Class from JFK to TLV. The flight to Tel Aviv was in a small plane with 3 across seats that hardly reclined. We are most unhappy and will complain to American Express Platinum Card."

Contras: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Contras: "Took very long from landing/ arrival until baggage could be collected. Priority luggage came out last!"

Prós: "Nothing... and we were late which made me miss my connecting flight and I wasn’t reimbursed because it was with a different airline"
Contras: "See above and the food was disgusting"

Prós: "The food, entertainment, and service. Waited for me after almost missing my flight."
Contras: "Nothing."

Contras: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Prós: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Contras: "Landing was a bit rough, understandable due to the weather."

Contras: "The room between seats is unbearable."

Prós: "I liked the way a fligh attandant treated me and another two passengers. At the end of the flight he gave us a cup of strawberries for all. The food was delicious specially that pasta, it was yummy."
Contras: "TV was too slow."

Prós: "All crew I interacted with was great, friendly, and helpful."
Contras: "Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good. I did not find the seats comfortable."

Prós: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Contras: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Contras: "Food was not good."

Prós: "Good seat near the front."
Contras: "Delayed arrival by 30 minutes."

Prós: "Boarding sevece was very nice and helpful Thanks so much"

Prós: "Punctuallity"
Contras: "Bording far away, got my cabin luggage and everyone elses into the cellar because ¨it didn´t fit in the plane¨. There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food."

Prós: "Movie selection was awesome! Food was good too."
Contras: "Too many interruptions. Every time there's an announcement, it interrupts the movies and some of the announcements were completely unnecessary and there were so many of them, it was like constant interruptions, really annoying."

Prós: "I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight."
Contras: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."

Prós: "Good food. Although no Cappucino as in AF from Sanfransisco to Paris."
Contras: "No entertainment at al. Specifically, I could not lean my seat b/c of a mom with a baby behind me..."

Prós: "Average flight"
Contras: "Food on AF montreal - paris flight and totally rude stewardesses"
