The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird."

At check-in for the Rome flight, the LH lady was able to confirm my bag was already aboard which put me at ease. It came through very quickly in Rome and I arrived in Perugia on time and with my bag! Food from Bogota was tasty and there was a complimentary snack on flight to Rome."

Lufthansa could just bring me by bus to the departure gates. I believe that police officers with openly carried machine guns INSIDE of TSA secured zone at FRA is too much (though I am not a law enforcement person)."
Prós: "I like the friendly crew. They give refreshments at no charge on a 40 minute flight and get it done in time."
Contras: "I had a business class seat but it was really more like premium economy for other airlines, but with lower quality. Food, especially for business clsss was not very good. The person next to me flies with them often and pre-requested gluten free but they didn't have anything for her. The seats were not clean with a leftover tissue and apple core from a previous flight. Lufthansa is now my last resort option when flying to and from Europe."

This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

People pushing, standing right next to you, when you get on the plane all the old women who do not know how to read always walk to the back of the plane when they're supposed to be sitting in seat 7? Been there? Seen that? Yes ! Seen it a million times. What makes this particular flight so unbelievable, and maybe it was just a training day because there was a lot of airline personnel at the check in kiosk, but I have never processed on to a flight in Columbia, given up my baggage, and be walking to the gate so fast in my life! I truly hope this is something that will become standard, and I pray to God that the other airlines especially Viva will learn how to do!"

Then the gate agent refused to let us board because the boarding passes Iberia customer service wrote and stamped didn’t have ticket # on ithem. The gate agent made it clear that it was all on me to go back to the agent at customer service to get it addressed and make it back in-time. The other passenger was my 80 year old mother who a I had to leave unaccompanied at the gate so i’d have some chance of running across the terminal and making it back in-time, which fortunately I did. The complete lack of interest in helping or even acknowledging that this was their mistake is the reason why I will never fly Iberia again."

Contras: "As great as it was that they booked my connecting flight, I wish I could have my luggage. It has been over a week and I believe that it is because I had such a short layover from my first flight to this one."
Contras: "Second time they lose my luggage. After 9 hours in the airport they were not able to put my luggage in the right place."

No one was below to catch them, and we saw them slamming into each other, some falling on the ground. Highly disturbing!"
Prós: "No free food this time. Shorter EU flight and seats not as spacious because of it."
Contras: "Movie options weren't that great; I couldn't Buy extra baggage online because I didn't book directly through Iberia (not my fault that BA didn't fly this route and I didn't know it and it costed extra at the airport)"
Contras: "Seats too close together for any kind of comfort level"
Contras: "I was late to catch my plain to San Francisco 5 minutes because it was too much people at customs and the plain coming from Madrid was 15 to 20 minutes late due to the bad weather. The plain was supposed to departure at 6:30pm and I got there at 6:20pm the agent at the gate told me that the doors were closed and she gave me a plain ticket for the next flight to San Francisco."
Contras: "The flight crew only cared about their first class passengers."
Prós: "The crew was great, we were on time and the food was airplane great"
Contras: "There was 0 legroom. My legs (and I'm 5'10") were literally bulging into the seat in front of me the entire time. I looked around and saw many other people with similar issues holding their legs sideways, etc. Ughh"

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "There was no entertainment. With a flight over three hours I would have thought there would be seatback mini-screens at least with a few movies to choose from. Also there was only one cart serving drinks which took forever because we had a seat towards the back and because it took so long we only had the one drink. It was so full of ice that really there was hardly any fluid and the ice pieces were too large to even chew them up. I felt very dehydrated during the flight. Since we can't bring our own water I feel like more should be provided."

Contras: "They have a Delay and they comunicated late. I traveled with a 3 month old baby, so you can imagine whe you have a delay of more than 5 hours."
Prós: "Made up time lost to bad weather. Several announcements from pilot-I always like that. Makes me feel more personally cared for. "My friend the pilot is taking me there". That might explain how it makes me feel. Wish they did it more. Don't usually complain but below you will see I did."
Contras: "Your headrest are especially cheap, plastic like, with little padding. Being in back row(no recline) would have been manageable if I could have leaned head to side to rest on something that extended out. Left too much light on (all down center) for an overnight flight. Served heavy dinner at 2am. Woke everyone up. Later light breakfast would have been more appropriate. Bathrooms reeked and waste bin overflow. Stewardess in back chatting. Don't they ever check?. They didn't seem to want to there."
Prós: "The lounge and boarding area at Houston Airport were great. The staff at boarding did a good job keeping everyone happy and in line and boarding in the proper zones."
Contras: "All the flight attendants were trainees. I was served cold coffee because it took so long to get from the front of the plane to the back. I was given a toothpick to stir it with. My headrest detached from the seat, and I had to sit uncomfortably during the flight. The plug for headphones was broken."
Contras: "Boarding could have been better. If you have 5 groups you should have 5 lines — not 2. Also the terminal in Holland was extraordinarily cold."

Prós: "The Rio de Janeiro international airport is very difficult to traverse. However, the airport staff was very helpful in directing me several times to the correct location."
Contras: "United needs a check-in kiosk located between the domestic arrivals section and the international connection hallway just before security. I had to walk to the complete length of the airport and back again, just to check-in. Other airlines, such as Delta, have a kiosk located just before the security entrance. The cabin temperature was absolutely freezing during the flight, and I am usually hot."

Knowing this, they didn't bring enough luggage carts, so they only brought some of the luggage to the baggage claim and didn't tell us this. 5-6 of us waited and waited and finally asked someone who told us that they had to go back to the plane to get the rest of the luggage. Those of us still waiting got to wait another half hour for our luggage. Talk all they want, United just can't seem to get it right. PS: those of us who had to wait were the ones who got to the San Antonio airport the earliest and thus our luggage was on the plane first."

If customer rep would have explained that, u would have taken measures to bring along a prepared meal for myself. Not okay."
Prós: "Both newer, seats were very comfortable.. made the journey great."
Contras: "Not enough bathrooms. It is a real shame that United offers a grand total of 4 bathrooms for the entire economy class. People were always lined up! Compare with Lufthansa's A340 where you go downstairs and there are 7 bathrooms plus waiting space, where they also offer water, juice, chocolates, etc."
Prós: "Economy tickets were over sold and I was moved to 1st class seat! Best flight ever.!!!"

Prós: "Because of the delay, I missed my connecting flight, but a United staff member was ready to hand me a boarding pass for a new flight right when I got off the plane. That took away any worry or hassle for me, which I appreciated."
Contras: "We sat on the runway for 2 hours. Also, my headphone jack was broken, so I could not connect my headphones to watch a movie. When I tried to explain the problem, the flight attendant misunderstood and just ended up bringing me a new pair of headphones... not helpful."

Contras: "Had to wait, probably 5 minutes, while holding my bags right outside the plane for an employee to do something. The attendants were unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and not available. Crammed 3 of us in the seat before emergency exit row seats, about 1" from my knee to back of seat in front of me and a 90 degree angle back, although there were many, many rows with only 1 person in them. One woman had enough room to stretch out and sleep across all 3 seats. Our seats didn't recline but the row in front of us did which made it even more cramped. Tried to ask attendant to move but couldn't find one for over an hour. Tried to ask an attendant but he just walked by me. Pushed call button and he says oh you want to move? There's a seat over here, before I could see where, he walked away. Moved myself to a row with 1 other person who was angry she now had to share "her" 3 seats. She typed angrily all flight and kept putting her legs and personal items as close to me as possible. She used both trays to hold her laptop and spread herself out so I'd be uncomfortable. Could've been prevented if the attendant had talked to the woman first then moved me. Had to wait when getting my drink because the attendant turned to help others, 4 times, after she'd already asked me what I wanted. She got food for someone while I waited. She made change for someone while I waited. She walked away to do something for someone while I waited. She served someone else while I waited. Asked attendant where the electric plug in was and she said the plane didn't have one, I said the sticker says the plane does, she walked away. Worst experience ever. Won't fly this airline again because of this experience."

Contras: "I had my infant son with me they were not being supportive of me at all, and just looked like they hated their job, they had no customer service at all, they lost my luggage after a long 17 hour flight, my son was crying tired and they expected me to stay there until they finally found my luggage, I will never take United airline again not even if its free, its my second bad experience with them the first time was horrible as well, never again"
