The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Train noise in the early morning hours outside the hotel and noisy visitors next door and down the hall.
From the complimentary brunch at Ruth Chris, to the friendliness of the staff, i am impressed everytime i come here.
Everything, but the outdoor smoking areas were in direct sun or behind pool area that had no air.
Location, easy to find, by riverwalk. Oh, the people working there, OUTSTANDING IN EVERY ASPECT! Nothing, would stay there if the prices were better!

The hotel was great and the staff was nice as well by accommodating you with the services and room. We had a great view and we could just walk downstairs to the river walk. The river walk was close but the places we wanted to go to were further than expected. Overall the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter was great especially since it has a mall right down stairs. I did not like that you had to pay for parking. Your paying a price you would think that that would be included. Also there was no mini fridge in the room for food.

Housekeeping was fast. Location on the river walk was very convenient. The room and bathroom were very small. There was also a very strong scent of perfume that was overwhelming when you walked into the hotel. We noticed it every time we came into the hotel during our stay. It was almost nauseating. Parking was expensive. It was the week of Thanksgiving and the front desk seemed to be severely understaffed.
Hotel had lots of activities planned for families and kids, including egg hunt and wake up call by the Easter bunny. Super friendly staff and very clean. Excellent access to the mall and food court area for those that like different tastes on a budget, but also quick access to very nice restaurants as well. Some of the activities were at the other Marriott across the street
Very nice location no AC in hallways, bedroom ac did not work that well. Needs to be updated for sure.
Staff and rooms
Love the balconies over the river walk, historic character of the building and that it's pet friendly. Enjoyed listening to the church bells in the pool court yard (we were there on Easter Sunday morning). Had to pay for wifi. Verizon cellular service barely worked in our room, cell & text functioned poorly, data did not work, so we did not have internet access during our stay.
Great location and I liked the rustic feel of the place. The card reader on the door did not work well. Took at least 10 tries before it actually opened the door. The carpet isn't the greatest. Have to pay for wifi.

The good news is that the hotel is right on the River Walk, so you're right in the heart of the action. If you're looking for action - this is the place to stay. A lot of noise from the River tour boats and people, so if you're looking for quiet - this isn't the place.
Being an Onmi hotel I had much higher expectations. It was very dark, although they wanted a certain style (not sure exactlybwhat it was, old, Mexican, historic) they didn't pull it off very well. The carpets were dirty and dull, the room was musty and very dark. The staff was very friendly, the location was prrfect, right in the heart of the fun, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice.
This bad experience had ever happened to me and my family before. I will never use again KAYAK again to book my reservations. Result, they have this "Getaroom" subsidiary with a poor description of their booking application, and it scammed you before you know the transaction has a nonrefundable policy until it is too late via your email confirmation. I called them, my credit card, agent, and the hotel. None of them were in the good customer satisfaction attitude to refund my money, cancel, or reschedule the booking transaction. Be aware of using them to book your reservation before it is too late. Anyone can make a mistake some time, but this Draculonian thirsty-blooded camming business does not care for you. Pray to Lord, this kind of business entities does not prosper any more in the traveler's economy.
Location is everything. The Omni La Mansion is in a perfect location on the riverwalk without the crowds of the convention hotels. The service was top notch and the food was fabulous.
Everything. Breakfast on the riverwalk, emaculate rooms, stylish old style bar with knowledgeable bar tender. If you hear the alarm, call the front desk. It's a parking garage across the street. They don't own it. It shuts off quick, but the front desk won't hear it, so call them .
Good location and friendly staff Very old hotel. Our first room had a broken faucet. Second room was better but needed updating. A ton of road noise and party people on Friday night. Very expensive especially the breakfast buffet which could have been larger for the price.
Nice and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Centrally located so you can walk most places very quickly...or take a cheap Uber ride. Breakfast buffet was delicious!! We parked our car at valet but wasn't aware that it was $40/night. You might find cheaper options in one of the many parking garages close by. All and all...great place to stay!

I got an upgrade to another room and it was awesome there on out
My room location was awesome. The view I had for the firework show during New Years Eve was even better. I live and work in the UAE (Dubai). We have some of the best and most world class hotels that anyone can offer. With that said,....my first stop when I landed last week was the Palacio Del Rio. I put my bags on top of the dresser and when I pulled them off,..I found a lot of dust on top of the dresser. I did not make a fuss about it,..but I do know that the places I stay around the globe will not tolerate such a thing. Other than that,..the staff there was extremely polite and helpful. I will def. stay at the Palacio del Rio during my next visit to San Antonio.

Stayed there for SA Marathon. Had to get up at 4:30 but could hear loud music outside until 10 PM. Also, AC did not work very well.
Seemed to have difficulty getting auto from valet parking. Took 50 minutes one time.
Staff very helpful, assisted in getting my husband a golf tee time, friendly, patient, good suggestions for things to do, and places to get services. Would have liked spa services available at the hotel.

The hotel has a great location on the riverwalk in a quieter area next to the mall. The room we had (handicap) was very large, and the bed was comfortable. The lobby was nice, there was a starbucks in the lobby, and the food at the bar and restaurant were good. This was one of the biggest hotel disappointment I've had in the past. year. I traveled over 200 days in the past year and stayed at quite a few different hotels, so I don't say this lightly. When we first walked into the room (905 handicapped) the bathroom stood out as an eyesore. It was at least 5-10 years past when it should have been renovated. The grout was multiple different colors that made it look like it could be moldy, the wallpaper was peeling from the walls, and there was a general lack of craftmanship in the way it was constructed. The final straw was when I went to take a shower, and the shower head connection was leaking and spraying water in all directions. It wasn't just a loose connection, because I was unable to stop the leak. This is something a guest should never have to deal with at a chain like the Marriott. I asked the front desk to be transferred, but because it was a busy time the only available room was the room below us (805). This bathroom was in slightly better condition, although there were a few cracked and chipped tiles. Although the shower head worked, it was a very low end and cheap looking model. The bigger problem was when my wife tried to take a shower the first night, she was unable to maintain a constant water temperature. It would alternate between cold and very hot. She showed me how red her feet were, and I can only imagine what sort of a problem this could pose to an elderly or handicapped person. The other problem was the terrible tv reception while we were trying to watch the sugar bowl in our room. It would constantly blur or pause, making it nearly impossible to watch the game. Fortunately or unfortunately, the reception on the large tv's at the bar was fine. In summary, this is not the type of property I would expect for a Marriott. For the time around the new year the value wasn't bad (just under 200) however I would have preferred to spend 50% more on a room that looked like it had been renovated in the past 10-20 years. In the past year the only time I have experienced bathrooms in this sort of condition were in $50 rooms in towns with less than 5000 people. Buyer beware.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean. Even when house keeping forgot to clean our room twice, they sent someone over immediately to clean it up. The breakfast attendants were super friendly, especially Rudy. The breakfast could use better variety of fruit and swich the sausage with ham once in a while. The pool was so cold, I thought icebergs were forming.
- At $230 a night it was a below average hotel.

1.The comfort and decor of the rooms and lobby; 2. the valet staff was excellent; 3. we enjoyed the restaurant on the Riverwalk; 4. I was pleased to receive a phone call from the security dept upon our return informing us about an item we left in the room and appreciated the offer to mail it to us; 5. the butter cream solution you gifted us with upon our arrival along with the glasses of champagne, were a welcome treat. 1.valet parking rae of $32 per day would dissuade us from staying there again; 2. the dirty champagne glasses from our stay the first night were never removed from the room during our two night stay; 3. I made arangements to have my hair done with the same stylist who had done my daughter's hair but she accepted an appointment with someone else which prevented me from getting my hair done for the wedding I was attending

Rarely does a hotel exceed expectations in both service and accommodations. The Watermark Hotel & Spa has. Twice now for me. Bravo. It's the only hotel I will stay in when visiting San Antonio.
Very friendly and helpful staff The jack hammering and the broken elevator were a pain. The hotel lobby was under construction. Our view was of a boarded up building and a bank parking garage.

Good location, generally nice hotel. A number of cleanliness issues- -Blood on the sheets (not kidding- blood on the sheets) which we had to have changed at 11PM as we were already ready for bed. -previously opened water bottles in the mini fridge...
