Prós: Me hospedei aqui para negócios e foi ótimo. Todos os serviços necessários e Internet estavam disponíveis. Quanto ao conforto, a cama foi perfeita. O meu único desconforto foi que ela pode ficar um pouco quente demais à noite, apesar do aquecedor estando desligado.
Além disso, eu tenho que dizer que o hotel é muito bonito e fica em um local muito agradável. É muito fácil de encontrar ao voltar para o hotel e você se sente seguro até tarde da noite.
Definitivamente ficaria aqui novamente.

Prós: Amazing customer service, beautiful facilities, perfect location and neighborhood (10min walk to museums, Anne Frank and Dam Square, so convenient!). Comfortable bed, awesome shower. They were so thoughtful like having a converter in the room already, the mini-bar is free of charge and restocked daily (except for alcohol). Overall, this is an amazing hotel.
Contras: Everything was perfect, honestly.

Prós: Cannot say enough about how great our stay was here! We extended our stay by a day we loved it so much. The prices were very reasonable. They checked us in 2 hrs early with zero hassle. All of the room supplies were included. While not exceedingly spacious, everything about the room and hotel oozed modern style. There was interesting literature on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the lobby was a hip restaurant with delicious and affordable faire which we frequented almost every day, and at night became a popular bar until 1 am. There were many other places to eat, shop, or stroll past from the Hoxton's central location, but it was far enough removed from the main tourist areas to feel somewhat local. I would recommend this place to anyone except maybe those traveling with children, as I believe they had to "cheat" to fit us into a single room, and we are smaller than your average humans as it was.

Prós: Spectacular experience, I loved the vibe and design of the space. All finishes are high quality and products they give you in the room smell fabulous . Breakfast is also excellent. It’s the small touches like having smooth jazz playing in your room when you walk in, I cannot say more positive things about it.

Contras: My single room was tiny. It was impossible to see the television from the bed. In the evening, the lobby turned into a very crowded and noisy nightlife venue. Because of the crowd, it was difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Would never stay here again.

Equipe fantástica, simpática e solícita, ambientes descolados, jovens e muito elegantes ao mesmo tempo, privacidade na área dos quartos, silêncio, serviço de quarto, restaurante muito bom, café da manhã super simpático de cortesia no quarto, bicicletas disponíveis para os hóspedes, EXCELENTE localização, quarto espaçoso, cama incrível - e travesseiros também. Fantástico 4 estrelas que mais parece 5!
Contras: Dificilmente algo poderia ter sido melhor. A única coisa que me incomodou um pouco foi que não há carregador de malas. Num hotel tão incrível como este, é uma falha importante. Nada que prejudique a experiência de se hospedar lá, o ambiente é realmente incrível!

Prós: I really enjoyed the breakfast, bar, and restaurant menu options. Everything tasted great and was amazingly delicious. The beds where comfy and the service was fine. Thank you for such a great stay!
Contras: I had a bad experience when ordering dessert one night from a couple of staff members at the restaurant. I ended up waiting about 40-50 minutes before receiving the dessert. I had spoke with two service members for the order and it was never placed until I spoke with a third service member, unfortunately.

Prós: Great location in Centrum so within walking distance of the main sights. We stayed for 3 nights in order to see the Brassai exhibition at FOAM and The Jewels! Exhibition at the Hermitage so it was great to be able to walk to what we wanted to see. We really liked the hotel. The room was fairly basic with no view but comfortable and clean. It had what was needed for a short visit; coffee machine, nice toiletries. There was a fridge but it contained just water. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly (indeed we witnessed an interview of a potential new member of staff in the bar area in which we heard that it is hotel policy to encourage friendliness by the staff to guests!). Anyway, the staff were great! We particularly liked the breakfast. It had everything we could have wanted, nice dining area and good service. The bar area was also very pleasant. We enjoyed it and would recommend it.
Contras: Nothing really.

Prós: Great buffet breakfast. Cannot earn any Sofitel/Accor points for incidental expenses if using points for free nights. Accor loyalty program needs to be improved so that points do not expire.
Contras: Bedding was too heavy. Had to have the mattress cover removed and the duvet removed so as not to be too hot while sleeping. Room was very quiet.

Contras: Two major points: 1) There was a DJ training/workshop that was taking place at the hotel and didn't allow us to sleep. We called the front desk only to be told that the volume will be lowered and that they cannot do anything about it. Very disappointing and unprofessional. It literally did not allow us to sleep after a long flight. 2) We were there during the daylight savings weekend. Visiting from a country that does not even have this, i was surprised that a notice was not placed under our doors or in elevators. Basically you should notify your guests at the very least.

Contras: The hotel is a good distance from the city center. I think I remember reading ~ a 30 minute walk but it was more like ~50 minutes. Using public transportation, Ubers or taxis is a must.

Só pra citar um exemplo, eu fui pela primeira vez à Amsterdan, sem conhecer nada, questionei sobre qual seria o traim, número , se tinha um nome identificador , que saía do aero para o hotel, mas o hotel apenas se limitou a dizer que era fácil. Além disso, questionou a reserva feita, .mesmo eu mostrando a confirmação impressa.

Prós: - Very stylish - Comfortable bed - Nice breakfast, good value for money - Perfect location for a concert at Ziggo dome, but also not far from public transportation, direct to city center and train station
Contras: - The temperature of the shower was fluctuating between like 35 and 40 every few seconds. It’s pretty unpleasant. But I haven’t seen anybody else complain about this so it was maybe just in our room? - When we arrived, the woman doing the check in seemed like she had just been VERY annoyed by something. She was as unfriendly as possible without being rude, so that was a bit of a strange first impression of the hotel. But all of the other staff we’ve met afterwards were very nice, especially at the restaurant.

Prós: Anyone would struggle not to find enough of what they like for breakfast! Plus available for 6 hours, which is ideal for an early start or a long lie. Also, the bed was long enough!!! So often higher end accommodation is spoilt by a short bed - not here.
Contras: The one thing about the hotel/room that did annoy me was the heating system in the room. Even when I switched it off it still made a very audible click which was loud enough to break up sleep. It is what it is, but having spent way more than I would normally for a hotel, it was slightly crass to be met with the city tax. Same for everyone I know but felt a bit off.

Prós: Modern exterior hotel with a beautiful marina/ water view. It’s about 15 min walk to the city center, pleasant stroll when the weather is nice. It’s good for people who want to come back to a quite place at the end of the day. Excellent customer service.
Contras: The hotel is not in the heart of Amsterdam, a little bit outside, you have to take a subway or a taxi to get to the center. There are no places to eat other than in the hotel. Food in the hotel is just terrible including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms are comfortable and good size but very basic for the price we paid

Prós: The room was very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. Generally, the room is high-tech , for example in order to open the shades you have to use an ipad device. This can be both convenient and confusing. The staff was helpful but not warm. It was a bit disturbing when the elevator machine wouldn't recognize our card and the elevator took us at the 15 floor instead of the 8th. Also, two times the door knocked for room cleaning, in the morning. The location is good but not very close to the center. Too expensive for not including breakfast. Also, a 50 euros deposit was asked by the hotel when we arrived, in case of damages or usage of the mini bar and snacks. This was not referred when the room was initially booked. Room servise always available and friendly.

Prós: Very good quality of bed linen and shower cosmetics. Nice room design. Soundproof is good exept through the room door to the corridor. Good curtains. High quality restaurant.
Contras: Water was staying on the floor while and after taking shower. The drain was not clogged but there were no inclination made. While the TV and heating were controlled through the IPad, there was no possibility to control the light in the toilet and the entrance. They were turning on by their own depending on our movement, also during the night and disturbing sleeping partner and hurting eyes. No intimacy washing yourself in the sink, nor in the shower. Coffee provided is in nicely designed packaging, but of poor taste. The double duvet for two was too small to be comfortable. There were no clair intructions how to use the lifts on the floor. To go down we waited a long time with no knowledge of what to expect, intoducing over and over again our roomcards and destination and receiving the only message " No lift is attributed". No clair instructions how to leave the parking.

Prós: I liked how smart the facilities are in terms of sustainability. There are automated blackout shutters that are activated when you leave the room and when the outside temperature is drawing energy from the room. All the automatic functions of the room are controlled thru an iPad and these can be set at your choice. I stayed in a corner room which allowed for views looking towards downtown Amsterdam and a park and water near by. I visited the high tech greenhouse on the top two floor that provide greens for the restaurants.
Contras: The location is about a 3 minute walk to a Metro station (Sparklerweq) but this may seem to be somewhat inconvenient to some travellers who are not used to the local transit system. However this does allow arrival in central Amsterdam in less than 10 minutes

Contras: For the price no usual "extra" stuff like toothpaste, hairbrush, razor etc… just shampoo and shower cap, that was it. If you really needed you have to ask for it at reception. When trying to check out I have not receive invoice for my stay and the stuff tried to persuade me I will not receive any since I booked the hotel via booking.com. First time this happened to me, but luckily the invoice came via e-mail.

Contras: Did not like it that there was no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Difficult to walk with big suitcases. Going to thr airport to catch our flight to the US the hotel called a taxi and the taxi totally ripped us off by overcharging us. This put a bad spot on the hotel, a simple thing to have a shuttle, when it seemed all the other hotels had shuttles.

Contras: Upon arrival (11pm) I was very disappointed To find out that the restaurant and the bar of the hotel were closed and under construction. In addition to this, the room service menu (and the food ordered subsequently) was a disaster. I was on a very hectic business trip and room service or a hotel restaurant was top priority for me. At no point after my booking was i informed that the restaurant and bar was under construction. The hotel breakfast was very poor and basic and so was the room cleaning service. One day my bed was not made!

Prós: O hotel era limpo e a localização próxima da estação Zuid (Sul), que embora não seja ao lado do Centro permite o uso fácil do metrô, trem desde o aeroporto ou ônibus que vai para Keukenhof.
Contras: O box é aquele semi-aberto, que se não tomar cuidado molha bastante o banheiro. O café da manhã é bom, porém bem caro (25 euros por pessoa) - o dobro do preço encontrado em outros hotéis de mesmo padrão. Acho que poderiam ser mais incisivos sobre a política de não fumar no hotel, pois em uma determinada manhã o alarme soou e tivemos que evacuar o prédio por conta de um hóspede que fumou no quarto.

Prós: This is a lovely place to stay in the most atmospheric and trendy part of Amsterdam. Frank is a lovely host who makes you feel relaxed and very welcome. Our room was enormous, very well appointed and even had its own little courtyard garden to sit out in. Breakfast is taken in the communal kitchen (there is only one other room rented out in the property) and a nice range of continental breakfast items - cereals, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cheeses, meats, bread, juice, etc - was provided. The Jordaan is full of gorgeous houses, great cafes, bars and restaurants and a wide range of eclectic shops. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Centraal station and very close indeed to Prinsengracht, where the Anne Frank House is located. We highly recommend eating at 'Hummus D & A' restaurant on Westerstraat, about a 3-minute walk from the bed and breakfast. Great Israeli (though not Kosher) food at reasonable (for Amsterdam, which has become very expensive since our last visit) prices.

Prós: How nice that we were able to stay in this Amsterdam paradise. This is a wonderful place, atmospheric comfortable apartment with the best location for walking around the city. Wonderful proprietress Cynthia, who made a homemade breakfast for us: pancakes with berries - it's magical. The apartment is fully consistent with the description and photos. Near a lot of places, where you can eat, and then arrange an evening walk along the canals. Recommended to all!

Prós: Location. Location. Location. The Vanguard is located between the mansions on the Golden Bend and the Waldorf Astoria at the intersection of the Herengracht and Reguliersgracht canals from which you can see a total of 15 bridges in different directions. It is one of the most romantic locations in Amsterdam as confirmed by the parade of couples and canal boats pausing for photo ops. On top of that, the custom made breakfasts prepared by former restaurant owner/caterer Cynthia Mertens will get you lovebirds out of bed and ready to tackle the sights of Amsterdam.
Contras: The layout of the second floor apartment could have been made better by making the entry to the front room instead of the bedroom. This likely was not done due to the elevated floor in the front room. The result is the water closet and very large bathroom being partitioned off from the joined bedroom and front room. And, of course, since it is an Amsterdam canal home, there are the steep narrow spiral stairs to deal with.

Prós: The location was excellent and the rooms were large and very interesting. Special effort was made to accommodate our schedule which was outside the normal check-in and check-out times. Breakfasts were very well presented and the owner provided interesting conversation and perfect tips on restaurants and things to do.
Contras: The steep spiral steps to the rooms were a bit of a challenge. I would suggest if you have any difficulties with steps that you carefully consider if this is appropriate. We did manage but carrying luggage up the 40 plus steps was a workout. The amazing room at the top and the views made it worth the effort.

Prós: Everything! what a complete hidden gem of a hotel. Fab location, amazing staff, great facilities with the option of take away coffee, lovely toiletries in the room, fridge with drinks for you to enjoy free of charge, we had our bags delivered to our room even and my husband loved the hammock seat in the room- thank you so much for an amazing anniversary weekend.

Prós: The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and 5 minute walk to all the best food places and red light district! It was so clean and stylish. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I was really delighted with the free welcome drinks. I would definitely stay here again.
Contras: It was a bit expensive but we definitely got what we paid for.

Prós: Proximity to everything, the staffs are very lovely, the room was kept tidy at all times, the location of Mauro Mansion is in a quieter part of the district but still very close to everything. We were in room 32, with a lovely view of the canal. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.

Prós: Beds were comfortable and rooms decent size and clean. Nice that a bar and seating/eating area on property. Walking distance to everything very close. Very pleasantly surprised after other hotels across Europe.
Contras: Bathroom floor was slanted in such a way that shower water drained in to bedroom and all over bathroom floor. After showers could not use bathroom for other purposes without wearing hard shoes.

Produtos de higiene que incluem amaciador de cabelo e body lotion. Bom secador de cabelo. Vários livros sobre Amsterdão. Lobby com uma lareira muito agradável. Bom pequeno almoço que inclui panquecas, bons iogurtes, fruta fresca, frutos secos, mini croissants e café expresso. Recomendo para uma estadia em Amsterdão pois está perto das principais atrações e tem uma relação qualidade/preço muito equilibrada.

Prós: Situated very close to the central station, this stylish hotel is the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Amsterdam. All the sights and attractions are within easy walking distance, as well as some fabulous little restaurants and bars. Very highly recommended.

Contras: The lighting situation in the room was a problem at times. Lots of neat lamps but no overhead light. Very minor complaint!

Prós: The property is modern, tasteful and clean throughout. The room was great, with a very large and comfortable bed. Features such as the carpet in the corridor and tiles in the bathroom have been carefully thought of as well as unique details across the hotel. The Super Lyan bar is also very cool and we enjoyed a drink in here.

Prós: The room was large and felt luxurious. The spa was very nice. I would recommend this hotel but stress tgT you want a quiet room or else you will get zero sleep.
Contras: The hotel was not full at all (we asked) and yet they put us in a second floor room above an active ally full of bars. It was very noisy until about three am.

Prós: Excelente quarto, excelente cafe da manha, excelente localização, mesmo se vc vier de carro o hotel dispõe de estacionamento (use o gps , pois não da pra chegar de carro até a entrada, o estacionamento é enorme e fica debaixo da praça e tem indicação pra estacionar) com elevador exclusivo . Não é hotel familiar, é bem executivo porque está localizado numa área de escritórios e centros de convenções. Quando vc escolhe uma rede como a NH não tem erro !

Contras: Hospedamos durante 4 noites e somente no primeiro dia sentimos uma arrumação completa do quarto. Nos demais dias a impressão que dava era que arrumavam a cama. Colocamos as toalhas no chão para serem trocadas e elas voltaram para o cabide.

Prós: Depois de experimentar vários tipos de hotéis, sempre é reconfortante encontrar esse padrão de conforto. Boa cama, bom chuveiro e bom ar-condicionado, necessário quando a temperatura passa de 30 graus. Ótimo café da manhã, e o SkyLounge, no 11 andar, merece ao menos uma visita, tem ótima vista da cidade. Dica: troque o preço do ingresso no A’Dam por um drinque no SkyLounge.
Contras: A localização não é exatamente charmosa, mas muito prática para quem chega de trem (ou vem com ele do aeroporto) ou planeja bate-e-voltas saindo da estação. Mas o entorno não é feio, e é superseguro.
