Prós: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"
Contras: "The only thing I would improve is the main dish in the meal. I loved all the small sides like the Boursin and crackers but I found the main meal a little bland l."

Contras: "The seats are not very comfortable, very hard and textured seats that just don’t feel nice at all especially on a long flight. I weight about 11 stone (154 pounds) and even I felt like I was taking up a lot of room in my seat."

Contras: "I had to run for almost 2 miles every time I had to change the flight. On the way to India they lost my one bag, and on the way back to US they lost my both begs."

Prós: "Checking in at the counter even I wasn't allocated a seat but the gentleman was very humble and polite."
Contras: "The fact that I was told I would be given a seat at the boarding gate. I got to the airport very early to get a good seat only to be that and was given a very uncomfortable seat where I couldn't stretch my legs well because of a box on the floor situated to my left leg and to make the matter even more annoying my screen was not working which I was forced to take one heavy meant-so-called laptop. And finally cabin crew were lacking serious customer service and when u ask for something they were just so reluctant to deliver as if we were given a free ticket or something. May it be noted that my ticket was not that cheap to be treated in such manner."

Contras: "I always think Virgin's meals are the WORST among those of all the airlines I use. PLEASE LET THE VIRGIN COMPANY KNOW THIS FACT. The touch screen of the DVD player did not work well so it was a frustrating experience."

Big dislike - when I was checking in online I found some economy seats I couldn't allocate for my seating due to additional charge applies. I think this is very off putting as I have been a Virgin member for years and it is very disappointing."
Contras: "I liked the Airbus carrier which had only two seats (window and Isle) on each sides oppose to three. It felt more comfortable."

Economy appears to have lost staff as it takes the entire flight to get a drink and dinner, the feeling you get is that you should just get on board and then sit quietly for 7 hours and not ask for anything. The entertainment does not have a very large selection and if you fly regularly does not seem to update very often."

Prós: "The ground staff at Delhi was very helpful in giving us a new flight ticket for the next day for free eventhough they maintained that it was actually Air India's responsibility."

Prós: "I wish the airlines, all airlines would keep the middle seat vacant on all flights!! Such a comfortable feeling and flight. I’ve flown multiple times this summer during Covid, having that middle seat vacant has made traveling by air for me a very good, comfortable thing again. Don’t ever go back to packing us in like cattle car flights!!"

The staff was clearly overwhelmed and focused on moving us along (Cheryl) rather than resolving our need to reach our destinations.it wasn’t until we found one extremely patient and persistent employee (LaShondra-?) who booked us through NYC rather than Atlanta so we reached Rochester on the same day. So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?"

Contras: "The flight was scheduled for 7:45 pm. Due to the storm the day before, my flight out of Miami was cancelled and I was told that the flight out of W Palm Beach was my only option. I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

Prós: "One crew member was very good but all were not very available or checking on people. I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Prós: "The earphones for out two seats only worked intermittently, but the Purser, Lee-Ann handled it professionally and pleasantly. That was the only disappointment in an otherwise pleasant flight"

The plane was hot and no air to be found. This was all after we had to get back off the plane before takeoff. It was terrib"

Contras: "Very slow check in. Mainly because other passengers obviously don't read instructions re: weight/contents of cabin bags etc. Would be helpful if there was additional staff to deal with them away from check in desk. This would mean that others did not have to queue for 25 minutes because the check in girls also had to deal with them"

Contras: "It felt strange that the crew members completely skipped over me when serving lunch and drinks. At least something as basic as water should be given to all passengers."

Contras: "KLM lost my luggage during the layover. My luggage didn't arrive even after the next flight to Prague. Customer service wouldn't give me any idea what flight my luggage would arrive on, nor would they tell me what time my luggage might be delivered to me."

Prós: "We were fed a nice pasta meal and offered drinks twice. They also gave a muffin for desert. The flight attendants were very nice and attentive with cheerful smiles. I wish every airline had service this good!"

Contras: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Contras: "Unaccompanied minor flying to Lisbon overnight. Bag was lost. No real effort to assist. Bags of unaccompanied minor should be treated with priority."

Contras: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"

Prós: "Felt like a disorganized mess! I don’t understand how this is still in business. Water was for sale on the flight, not for free. Water!! It’s a basic amenity. Exit row was exactly the same leg space as the rest of the aircraft. So why did I pay extra?"

Contras: "The AA flight from NYC was late arriving at Heathrow, causing me to miss the connection. AA/BA was very good about orienting me to the new plan, but the delay was very inconvenient and being in the last row of the newly arranged flight to Lisbon was downright unpleasant."

Contras: "The crew were spread thin and not particularly helpful. We were charged for drinks that are usually complimentary (water and ginger ale) and when the credit card slip needed to be signed, my partner's ginger ale was spilled. The attendants couldn't be bothered to give us more than two cocktail napkins to clean up an entire can-worth, and did not offer to replace the drink. I had to dig into my bag to try and find napkins because there was soda covering the tray as well as all over the seat and his lap. I've always had positive experiences on BA flights, but sorry to say this one was sub-par."

Contras: "BA told us we could manage alone as a disabled traveller. Then when we tried to go through control they sent us somewhere different and said we couldn't go through as not reiustered disabled!! We had to register and be accompanied. Admittedly the red cross lady was excellent but we then got nothing to eat and felt like criminals. They said this was Italian law. It isn't We've been to Italy dozens of times with no problems. It needs fixing!!!!"

Contras: "Thank you"

Contras: "I booked a regular flight and at the end the system or dont know how, booked me PLUS ECONOMY, when I wanted to change my ticket date, it was so expensive and almost no dates were available. Also, you didnt give me chance to downgrade in order to change the dates more easily. I always fly through BA and I love the easy it is to change dates, but this time you disappointed me. I usualy choose BA because its easy and non expensive to change dates in my flight but now I may be open to book with other airlines."

Contras: "I was not allowed to board, because I was told I needed a Turkish Visa, even to change planes, and may have lost my ticket payment."

Prós: "The flight was pretty standard in most ways, nothing too great/too bad."
Contras: "The food service was horrible. After dinner service, that was it. I didnt see anyone in the aisles with water. But the worst was in the am (this was the Chicago to London flight) there was nothing offered before landing. My experience is that there is usually tea/coffee/a light snack. But not even water was offered. I have told this to a number of people to get their opinion. Everyone is surprised. On the flight from London to Lisbon, nothing but tap water was free."

Prós: "I always try to fly British Airways whenever possible."

Contras: "Charged us for food and even soft drinks on an international flight! I haven't experienced nickel and diminig like this on a n Major carrier like this."

Contras: "security in Heathrow was AWFUL. There was only ONE person working to screen luggage AND check luggage that was questionable. There wee 15 people waiting for luggage who almost missed their connections. I sprinted through the airport and made my connection with 2 minutes to spare."

Prós: "The food was tasty."
Contras: "flight was 1 hour and 40 minutes late. We sat on a hot plane waiting for take off and the temperature remained too high during the flight. Very little water was offered. Seating in coach was very tight."

Contras: "BA cancelled the flight, did not reroute us, provided a phone number for tel aviv (closed for the weekend). Terrible customer service. And our ticket was bought thru vayama who also did not bother to help us. Bad bad customer service for BA."

Contras: "The boarding gate was not posted until 25 min before plane was scheduled to depart, the departure was 20 min late, Customs at Lisbon took 1.5 hours for a simple stamp on my American passport. The aircraft was packed full, not even water was offered without charge, the service even at that was barely fast enough to make one pass of the passengers before landing, the aisles were continually blocked with service carts selling so how are you supposed to make a bathroom break?"
