They would skip us along the way while serving others, or even drop ice on us, and never said sorry once (instead, they would say it's only ice, or if I want 2 since they skipped me already twice when serving tea unlike the passengers around me on both sides). We paid nearly $6k for the 3 of us, but the crew made us feel as if we paid nothing. The entertainment system did not work well, and most of the time the movies refused to play. We were always suggested to restart, and were not even given free access to internet as an alternative. No one ever apologized for anything in the entire flight, it felt like this flight was a favor."

Not expected from Lufthansa, especially as I have had great experience with Lufthansa earlier."

Contras: "The crew didn’t bother to confirm who had requested the special meals, and they perhaps were confused by the size of the wide body rows, so they served my dinner to the passenger in the window seat (seat K) instead of me (seat H) By the time I realized what had happened, my row mate had eaten half the meal. The crew also rammed my knee with a beverage cart while I was dozing. Not the best showing ever..."

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Contras: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

After checkin online and paying for the seat it also meant that the seat couldn't be changed even though there were several available seats. There were no entertainment centres at each seat which was also a real surprise. I didn't have the Westjet app therefore I couldn't have access to the movies as I didn't want to have to pay for internet."

We waited in line for 2 hours at the airport for West Jet to tell us that we needed to call them regarding a refund. We called them and were on hold for an hour and 45 minutes. Then we were told we had to call the travel agent...we on hold for 2 hours. We then called Korean air and they told us they couldn’t contact West Jet-no one knew what the value of the flight from Toronto to Ottawa was. We were only provided with a refund of $4 (for the taxes) when it cost us $280 to rent a car to get to Ottawa. I will never book a flight with West Jet again."

Contras: "One of the flight attendents was rude. The head rests on the chairs didn't work. The chairs where uncomfortable. The plane was delayed. The drink selection was poor. The overall general westjet hospitality was just way below average and I felt like the company is turning so cheap I was worried they may have double sold my seat on the plane."
Prós: "There was one nice, friendly flight attendant. Nice to have a variety of beverages and pretzels offered (I feel I don't expect this anymore from domestic flights-- usually just expecting the coffee or water option)."
Contras: "The seats were up there with the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced--mostly due to the lack of ability to recline. I feel a four hour flight is sufficiently long enough to provide people some space to relax. We were delayed for whatever reason, lack of communication from staff to the passengers that were boarded really quite early (perhaps too early). One of the staff, while nice enough, was being a bit snarky to people as they were trying to, what I thought was helpfully, give them their garbage."

Contras: "Our flight got delayed so American Airlines Auto switched us to a flight leaving a day later with a 17 hour layover. When I called to get it fixed I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I got through. Once we got on original flight they gave away seats we paid extra for and gave us no refund."
Prós: "The flight attendants were excellent; seat was about what you would expect in economy; the boarding process was extremely confusing"

Contras: "Endless waiting and lost luggage. Excuse was unpredicted weather conditions. It was snowing in Finland so they had to clear the Ice from the planes.. Snowing in Finland? How uncommon is that during December? I think most of this is poor ground handling In Helsinki."

When I finally arrived in Helsinki, I missed my connection to Riga and was rescheduled for a flight 6 hours later even though there were two flights leaving before then. Also I requested vegetarian meal online, but was not served vegetarian. They did not have any extras."
Prós: "Food and entertainment is good"
Contras: "They had hidden checked bag fees. Their website says flights from the US get a free checked bag. The checkout charged me $60 to check a bag, when I looked on my reservation it says it’s $55 and when I called customer service they said they charge $100 to check 1 bag less than 20kg for an international flight"

Contras: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

Contras: "the baggage check was a zoo. there was only one finnair representative, who was LATE. the baggage check was opened only 1.5 hours before the flight, causing a massive line."

Contras: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."
Prós: "Entertainment options were fine. Crew was courteous. Boarding was fast. Flight was on time."
Contras: "Economy seats were more cramped than other international economy flights I have been on. My knees were against the seat in front of me the entire 9-hour flight. There were supposed to be 2 options for meal, but by the time I was served there was only one remaining. The meal itself was passing."

Contras: "The delay when it was already a 6 hour flight. I also was not able to reserve a seat because I had booked through kayak and not with the airline. Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Contras: "Who doesn't turn off the plane lights at night inside the cabin? Especially when you're feeling late at night? Didn't post gate until very last minute…LHR..Then it said boarding immediately. Nowhere to get water. Hurriedly Boarded plane to find out we have the sit there an hour. Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."

Contras: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."

Contras: "My problems began after landing. I booked a flight from LAX to Amsterdam, with a layover at Heathrow. When I originally checked in, they didn't send my things all the way through to my final destination. I had to exit the airport at Heathrow to retrieve my bag and go back through security, while trying to make my connecting flight."

The wheelchair that I had ordered for my travelling companion was not there, either at Manchester or Philadelphia. The seats that I had reserved were given away to someone else. Whilst the plane flight itself was okay, the airport experiences on either end were miserable."
Prós: "On the way home i was awake for the whole flight, and found it to be quite good. Had trouble choosing my seat from early check in bit what I got was good. Good good, service great, clean and comfortable."

Contras: "Aer lingus uses double prong headphones which dates the whole experience earphones are uncomfortable and volume is bad. You have to pay for booze in economy for international flight, seats aren’t that comfortable but the selection of movies and tv is good. I will probably look elsewhere next time"

Never understood going to the trouble of making announcements both pre-boarding & on-board pre-flight, that no one can even make out. That was not an issue here."
Contras: "Better lumbar support is always appreciated, adjustable lumbar would be very nice and could make or break an entire flight. No seat on any flight should ever be even the slightest ill repaired. Again, this equipmemt all seemed great. Lastly, since I prefer to always have a water, coke or coffe and or snack in front of me during entire flight, a bit of self serve (grab a water, coffee or snack yourself without having to make staff work a simple task would be nice on every flight. The flight from SEA-DUB was basically great and equipment is always of the utmost importantance."

Prós: "I loved that they had blankets and pillows available, and the seats overall were comfortable. I also loved the in seat screens so we could watch movies. The select was a little limited compared to other airlines, but they still had some brand new releases. They also fed us two meals and a snack, and the crew was super nice."
Contras: "The boarding process was a little confusing. It was done by row numbers but not very well announced, so I wasn’t actually sure when my row was supposed to board."
Prós: "Nothing. We were delayed and never made the connection. Delays, mechanical issues with the plane and mis information from your agents caused us to miss the flight."
Contras: "I didn't like the fact that we never made it to Hamburg. The more I think about he experience, the madder I get. We were frustrated with the experience to start out with but as we think back on it and what could have been done to change things by the airline, the frustration changes to anger."

Be the first on board to store your cabin bag and relax in your seat before take-off." I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the info on above taken directly from the Aer Lingus website."

Contras: "Some of the flight attendants were very unprofessional and I could hear them in the back while taxiing for take-off complaining about the job. The food was terrible and was served 3 hours after take-off. Every flight I've taken to Europe has at least had extra water bottles in the back of the plane and this flight had nothing. However, my flight from DUB to SFO was great. The flight attendants were happy, the food was good and they had extra water bottles in the back of the plane for everyone to use. I think the service suffers significantly on flights to Dublin from the US."
Prós: "the immigration in Dublin and the connection services in Dublin"
Contras: "I booked extra space seats and then they changed the plane and moved us in regular seats. We talked to a person from Air Lingus and he said it happens often but there's nothing to do. on board, the head sets are very old and you could only hear from one ear using the head set provided by Air Lingus. in 2018 ?! seriously !?"
Contras: "Passengers line up to board instead of waiting for their number rows to be called. I ended up boarding later than most and the overhead lockers of the front rows (where I was sitting) were completely full. I had to place my baggage very far back and wait for almost everyone to leave the plane so I could collect it."
Prós: "Used the self check-in and an agent offered to help. She was fantastic!"
Contras: "Cattle call boarding.... No system. We prepaid 80 Euro for two carry-on size bags because they were slightly over the 10 kilo limit and then they announced at the gate that if carton bags were over size or weight, they would check the free. Really!!!!"

On overnight flight from Boston to Dublin, could barely sleep because flight crew kept interrupting with announcements about collecting trash."
