Contras: "Iberia was unable to ticket us all the way through to our final destination when we checked-in at our origin (Faro). We then had to go through an arduous process to get handwritten boarding passes in Madrid. This put us at the end of the line for boarding. Then the gate agent refused to let us board because the boarding passes Iberia customer service wrote and stamped didn’t have ticket # on ithem. The gate agent made it clear that it was all on me to go back to the agent at customer service to get it addressed and make it back in-time. The other passenger was my 80 year old mother who a I had to leave unaccompanied at the gate so i’d have some chance of running across the terminal and making it back in-time, which fortunately I did. The complete lack of interest in helping or even acknowledging that this was their mistake is the reason why I will never fly Iberia again."
Contras: "When I purchased the ticket I was never told that there was no allowance for luggage. Usually, this flights give you @ least (1) piece of luggage for free. In this case they charged the first piece 50 dollars and the second one $200.00.- After I paid 1500 dollars for (1) plane ticket , it is unheard that there is not even one piece of luggage for free. When I booked the flight there was nothing on the site about this. This was my first and last time buying a tickets from you guys. The fact that the fare was 200 dollars cheaper than other sites, ended up costing, 300 more. Never again with you guys."

This was a long flight to be miserable."

Contras: "Before boarding, crew member had each of us throw our carry on luggage through a hole in the wall (no, they didn't help), down a chute (yeah, a slide... not a motorized belt or anything), watching our luggage hit the ones below. No one was below to catch them, and we saw them slamming into each other, some falling on the ground. Highly disturbing!"

Contras: "Our luggage did not arrive. They told us it was sent to another city by mistake and that they would get it to us as soon as it arrived. It's a long story but we didn't get the bag for a week. We called multiple times and got very little help. We finally got the bag, but had to buy new clothes to get by in the meantime."

Contras: "I was not allowed to check in online, so I had to go to the airport early to check in. Despite purchasing my flight months prior, and arriving at the airport with plenty of time to to check in, I was told that I was going to be bumped from my flight because it was overbooked, which would mean that I would miss my international connection. After waiting for everyone else to board on a tiny flight, there suddenly was a seat available and they let me board, but they managed to not put my bag on the flight, which means I have no luggage. Lastly, despite checking in more than 7 hours ahead of time for the international flight, I was given a middle seat and was told that I would have to pay $40 if I wanted to switch to an aisle/window. The middle seat was cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for 8 hours (after 7 hours of connections and waiting in airports). UGH."
Contras: "Despite seeing a crew bring 3 pieces of luggage to the plane, since the cargo was closed they turned around and 1 of those was my luggage which arrived a day later. The flight was late departing and then required to circle the airport and then the luggage did not make it."
Prós: "I liked the food and the fact that we could have wine with dinner."
Contras: "I didn't like the boarding procedure. There was an announcement for business class first, but then there wasn't enough said about the rest of the boarding i.e. "Group one can board now." Everyone was moving forward whether they were in group 1, 2, or 3. It was disorganized and not handled in a fair and efficient manner."

Prós: "Key to long haul flight is keeping everyone happy without forcing them to sleep. On a westbound flight arriving at night you want to get on the target timezone asap, this flight is the FIRST that really allowed me to do that without conflicting with people who don't know how to manage jet lag. The dimmable large windows and comfortable seat make it more comfortable. A/V with 3D map, online lunch ordering, being able to see outside without the bright sun bothering anyone, all worked well. +100 I was skeptical of the a la carte food & beverage service, without any regular service, especially on a long haul flight, but it seems to be much less hassle for stewards and frees up passengers to eat when they want. the food selection was meager and overpriced though. video system worked well, fortunately I found one good one, had all the trick play (replay, captions) so, ok, given meager selection. after 12 hour, people are tired, but few were visibly annoyed or crabby."
Contras: "They didn't have place to put garbage on the airplane, we tried to stuff it in the bathroom once, we just left the rest in the empty seat next to us. Spanish airports don't have good queue management, only two boarding classes, makeshift line. People crowd the gate making it seem like they'r about to get on next confusing the people who actually are next."

They simply let everyone on at once causing a stampede. Flight was delayed. Flight had no AC until almost take off. Smallest amount of legroom I’ve ever had in my life."

A meager €8 voucher that didn't even cover a meal and a poorly informed gate agent that couldn't provide any information because the head office wouldn't provide any information. To top it all off, the lie as to why the flight was delayed was not maintained by either ground staff nor the crew. Unbelievable"

Contras: "Flight delayed, no gate information till 18:40 - when flight was supposed to take off at 14:40 - then gate overcrowded by passengers from 3 different flights all to the same place. Crew members didnt know how to handle the situation and over 200 did not board the plane. However once taken to the plane lucky passengers had to wait outside on runway for approximately 40 mins as cabin crew also did not know how to handle the situation. Those with assigned seats did not get them and those with luggage to go in the cabin were informed there was no more space and luggage had to be put in the hold. We finally boarded the plane at approximately 8:40 but could not take off for another 2 hours where we were stuck on a small cramped space on a plane full to capacity not having eaten anything for hours with no idea of the progress of the situation. In conclusion I expect every passenger should receive a refund for not only the extrodinary 8 hour delay but for the mismanagement of the entire situation."

On board my 787 flight, the tray tables were very hard to close, the entertainment system didn’t work, and the bathroom, while not filthy, could have been a little cleaner."

Contras: "Passport control at airport in Casablanca was awful. Very very slow with people getting increasingly anxious about missing their flights and trying to move up in the line. The people checking passports were very slow and seemingly unaware of the tumult happening in line. No one was managing it. We arrived at airport 2.5 hours ahead of take-off and the plane was loading by the time we got to the gate."

Contras: "My flight from Casablanca to Dulles arrived 4 hours late, close to midnight instead of 8.15pm even though the flight took of on time a little after 7pm Casablanca time. What went wrong? Was the arrival time printed incorrectly on the itinerary? This unexplained delay/error caused a lot of distress for the loved ones waiting at the arrival gate for 4 hours."
Contras: "The airline cancelled one leg of our flight and then we had to apply for the money back for remaining legs, as they refused to be flexible on the rest of the trip. Instead of offering any help, it was down to us to call their call centre and ask for them to do something about it. At first they didn’t even understand their own cancellation and in the end they refused to do anything. We had to get lastminute.com to sort it for us, and in the end we got our money back. Only after chasing for a second time though! Definitely would not recommend this airline."
Prós: "Crew, cabin and food were decent, and it was only about a 1.5hr flight"
Contras: "The boarding process is a disaster. Everyone queues up all at once to board buses to the airplane and it felt like there was only one bus doing the round trip. No entertainment options, but it was only about a 1.5hr flight."
Contras: "The food, yogurt and a cheese sandwich was frozen. There were no female flight attendant. the attendant didn't speak very good English, French or Portuguese. The boarding process was not well organized. Some of the people seemed to not know how to act on a plane picking whatever seat they wanted and then arguing with the people that actually had the seats as well as getting up while the plane was still taxing."
Contras: "They cancelled our reservation the day before our flight for no reason, without notice, and didn't explain why. We had to fight literally an hour before take off to get our seats back. They didn't extend an apology or even an explanation as to why the airline simply cancelled our reservations which we had paid for over an month in advance. During all 4 legs of our trip (N.Y. to Casablanca; Marakech to Fez; Casablanca to Lisbon; and Lisbon to N.Y.) customer service was extremely slow and poor, many of the staff members seemed to not like their job because of how unpleasant they were. The breakfast is three different types of carbs and no nutritional value. I will never fly the so-called 'Royal' air Maroc again. Very unprofessional staff."
Contras: "They canceled my flight forcing me to leave my vacation a day early with not even a 24 hrs notice. This resulted in me losing out on money that I had already spent on tickets, the place we were staying, parking my car etc."
Contras: "Royal no good since they keep my money i paid for my ticket because I didn't show up at the airport by accidentally that I been sent in different airplane! They cancelled my name on the board for go back home and they said I have to paid again since They' won't t refund my money I had to paid again to return back home! very poor customer service No Cap closed for me to read English and staff was rude!"

Contras: "Flight cancelled again, but crew in São Paulo explained why and gave a dinner voucher. Better than in Casablanca when I went to São Paulo where flight got cancelled, no food was provided on Casablanca in 6 hours of waiting with no information. They check our passaport around 10 times, but there is no one to explain us where to go and what to do...After midnight they sent us to a hotel where we had to share a room with someone we never met before because there was not enough rooms to all of us. RAM=NEVER AGAIN!"
Prós: "Our plane departed late with the boarding gate information delayed until 15 minutes before boarding. No boarding process so everyone crams in line. Bathrooms on board were filthy and smelly. Flight attendants were helpful and did what they could. meal served which was edible. I would avoid RAM in the future."
Prós: "The crew was helpful and pleasant. A significant improvement over the demeanor of the crew from Casablanca to Monrovia and Brussels to Casablanca. Additionally, the transit staff was rude and unpleasant. They seemed uninterested in providing a service."
Contras: "As stated above very little was positive from the experience."
Prós: "My flight was about an hour long. I like that despite the short flight there were drinks and a snack involved. Perhaps in a longer flight there might be food available."
