Contras: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Contras: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Contras: "Seats were so tight and uncomfortable. This was an 8+ hour flight and it was so hard to rest."

Prós: "Friendly cabin crew"
Contras: "Long delays, little communication, stuffed into a hot bus before the plane was cleaned - not allowed off the bus, no air conditioning and kids crying whilst we were trapped for a while in the bus."

Contras: "Everything was great!"

Contras: "They insisted we check in our hand carries for free because the plane was full. So we did. They ended up leaving one of them in London. No entertainment. No free snack."

Prós: "Food was better than I thought it was going to be (not that I have enormous expectations for airline food, but it was quite good)."
Contras: "Economy class is cramped, and it was a packed flight. Obviously, this is not a BA-only issue. It may have been me in my dehydrated state, but the cabin was also quite a bit warm."

Prós: "Nothing, nothing. At all."
Contras: "After hours at the gate, the flight was finally deemed cancelled. I missed my layover and was forced to stay over night at a airport hotel. I had paid a change fee to come home specifically for that day which I lost, not to mention 9 hours in the airport... the flights for the following day were totally downgraded from my original booking. Was so upset I could have cried...."

Prós: "very pleasant attendants."
Contras: "a bit crammed."

Contras: "Incredibly poor customer service and their policy's are full of sneaky loop holes. Will NEVER fly with them again."

Prós: "Since I'm in a wheelchair the folks were ready at the gate to assist me with the aisle chair. Once on board, the crew informed me of an aisle chair in the plane so during the flight I can use the bathroom. This was my first time using the plane washroom. Food was great."
Contras: "I can't get same helpful crew for Intl flights."

Prós: "It was on American ticked through BA"

Contras: "The only problem that I had with my flight is that my luggage did not arrive on the same flight. Possibly due to my connecting flight from DCA to JFK. Both American Airlines and British Airways reassured me that it would be at Gatwick Airport when I arrived. Unfortunately, it did not. It took approximately four days to get my luggage. This was definitely a lessons learned."

Prós: "I thought the staff were helpful and professional. I had enough legroom and there was room for my wedding dress to be hung, although it was slightly small."
Contras: "There was a lot of turbulence but I know this is not the fault of the airline. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment was not working properly and this had to be reset on request. There were no wet towels/wipes to wipe our hands."

Contras: "not enough Indian Movies"

Prós: "Crew were fine, food okay, found a decent movie. All things considered it was all right."
Contras: "Boarding. Second time in a row flying out of Heathrow that I've had to queue up for a bus ride to get to the plane."

Contras: "BA doesn’t let you reserve seats when you book your flights, even for business class, never heard of that with any other airline, that’s just not right when you are spending so much money. Luckily for me the seat next to me was vacant, hence it was fine, otherwise it would have been very uncomfortable as it is a little too tight. on the 777 having 8 seats in a row is a tight space even with all the configuration."

Prós: "The meals were reasonably nice and the flight was on time"
Contras: "The entertainment screens were old and not clear and not easy to use. The crew was not efficient, not very friendly and not very accommodating. They offered minimal service, contrary to another crew on the A380 flight with BA going from LHR to JNB. Between flights, I guess I saw the better and the worse of BA."

Prós: "The crew was great and boarding was efficient."
Contras: "No wifi on board. What plane in this day and age isn't equipped with wifi? Especially on a 9 hour flight! Food was terrible."

Prós: "Leg room seats"
Contras: "London transfer had to go through security again almost missed flight I'm sure some people didn't make it"

Contras: "Food was terrible. Make sure you buy food before your board. Business class seats are too narrow and you can extend out properly because the leg area turns sharply. The TVs must be 20 years old on the plane."

Prós: "Need full quality service!"
Contras: "Limited service!"

Contras: "Not enough room tor luggage, I did not have any, but many people had too much, they were not able to put it in the available space. People should NOT be allowed to take soo much luggage into the cabin. In Prague it took more than 30 minutes to get our bags!!!!The WORST I EVER EXPERIENCED..."

I am 5 months pregnant and it was not comfortable not having husband close to me, when in case of emergency I need something and he is not able to help right away."

Prós: "Good and professional services. This flight was a short one but everything went as expected."
Contras: "I don't like the LHR airport as the layout is confusing and too big. The shuttle between terminals are not easy to take."

Prós: "Way overcrowded and narrow seats. Most uncomfortable trans Atlantic flight ever."

Contras: "British airways boarding always seems like a cattle call. Everyone thinks they're priority and it's not well defined who is, so the initial boarding call always just results in everyone rushing the gate."

Prós: "Not much of anything. No complimentary food or drink for a nearly five hour flight, and sub- par customer service."
Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Prós: "Friendly crew, comfortable seats, good boarding process!"

Prós: "Nothing. The airline changed the departure time for the first leg of my flight so I could not check my connection and had to cancel my flight and rebook with another airline."

Prós: "Boarding process was easy and we made great time all the way from LAX to Madrid (I only had carry-on luggage so I can’t speak for their check-in process). Loved having a non-stop flight. Crew was attentive and professional. Great new movie selection. The one bathroom I went into was probably the largest airplane bathroom I’ve ever been in!"
Contras: "However, I would have taken a smaller lavatory if it meant larger/comfier seats! I was pretty uncomfortable the whole flight. The leg room was alright for me being 5’6” but I’m not sure how anyone much taller would fare. The seats themselves were similar to a budget domestic airline. Fine when you’re only going a few hours, but on a transatlantic flight it really started to get to my back :("

Contras: "Quando chegámos de Figari e fomos logo fazer o check in não quiseram aceitar-nos porque o avião estava overbooked e tivemos que esperar até todos os passageiros estarem sentados sempre com o risco de nao embarcarmos, o que acabou por não acontecer. A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "While making the reservation online it said that you could declare your luggage when you do online check in 24 hours before your flight and the charge would be 15 euro's per bag or if you wait and do it at the airport it would be 30 euros per bag. I tried numerous times to do the check in before our flight and it kept saying unable to complete. I explained this to the agent at the airport and he still charge us 30 euros per bag."
