United also doesn't get it and still gives people cheese or something like potato salad obviously made with mayonaise, and some spread that is either butter or margarine on a sandwich."

Movie selection was poor. USB port didn’t work. Shame on you!"

When I finally was able to reach someone in order to upgrage to Premium Economy, they could not help me but said they would send an email with an answer to how much that would cost. The email never came. I will never book with Kayak again."

I just had come off 20hrs of travel. Phone on mute. No e mail. Now they say will deliver this evening - but no time slot so another wasted vacation day waiting for them to get their act together. Why can't they call/text me with a 30 minute window."

They told me that they would be "writing up" the problems that I encountered and they encouraged me to write directly to American Airlines (codeshare with Iberia) as well."
Contras: "The padding on my seat was old, compressed and worthless. I had to replace the cover on the bottom cushion. My tray was covered with spilled coffee and I was given a an exasperated "I'm too busy" look from the stewardess when I asked for wet napkins to clean it - which I did myself. The entertainment system froze and could not be restarted just an hour into the flight, leaving me with a bright light panel staring me in the face for the remainder of the flight. American advertises that they are replacing planes at a rate of one per week. Undoubtedly the leg room will be reduced from the already unbearable legroom on this plane. I fly 50K miles/year and this is an all too common occurrence with American flights. I'll be looking for a new airline."

Made it on time and safe, which is important. I was able to pre- order a vegan meal for my flight which is fantastic...and it was very tasty. No seat assignment until just before I boarded plane. Very disturbing."

Contras: "The attendant who checked me in at the Porto airport was very rude and sarcastic. At the gate they said the flight would be delayed half an hour, however they just called us to start boarding a half an hour after the flight was expected to leave. At that time the passengers of the previous flight were just starting to leave the plane so everyone that was about to board then had to stand in the freezing cold tunnel way with all of our bags for another 20 minutes while the previous passengers got off. There was no food or any beverage other than water offered on the flight."

They keeping on changing the delayed time so it end up being nearly two hours before we got on the plane. I was very disappointed that we didn't get where we needed to be on time. Our hour and 45 minute flight end up just wasting time waiting for the plane. They could of at least refund our check in bag fee for the inconvenient."
Prós: "Stay away from TAP. I wish the people at the counter were just rude - they were tormenting us and lying to me about my luggage. When they found out I insisted on not checking my bag, they told me they would "keep it" in the meantime. Turned out they went ahead and threw the bag onto the plane. We ended up having to go find it at lost and found. They initially told me it was going to only take 5-10 mins to retrieve my luggage, but then 40 mins passed and still nothing. My poor mom had to wait by the empty belt - and boarding started and the luggage still wasn't there. They forced us to pay 35 euros (it's principle, not the money) when their policy said nothing about it when I booked it on the website. My mom was in tears and I had the worst few hours of my life. TAP - you are disgusting. It takes a lot for me to be upset but you really did everything out of your way to make us suffer. Even told us we might have to miss our flight. You put a huge dent on my trip."

This time it was ready for boarding. I don't understand why they took us if the plane was ready. Once we were there why did we go back to the gate again?? Get it together TAP. My first and only experience and it wasn't a good one."

I had to pay extra money on top of the fare ticket of $150 for just one luggage just because was not mention on the fare ticket. Please give me an explanation of your policy in regard, and please advice people in regard of what I just mention otherwise I think your company tricks people without mentioning clearly that suitcases are not included to lower prices"

Contras: "I'm curious with Air Europa for not thoroughly detailing me at the time of booking about the extraneous and very unreasonable check-in baggage fee for €60!! For checkin in 1 bag at the counter! The website was deceptive in its wording with 1 baggag is free and the rest has a fee. Therefore, i understood that i didn't have to purchase a check in luggage fee. That right there is living expense that I depended on for my trip. Thanks Air Europa! The check-in agent and another Air Europa representative at the Madrid airport did little to anull my fee that I felt mislead about. That was terrible customer service! I tried to give my flight a chance, but the touch down landing was probably one of the worst jolted sloppy touchdowns I've experienced. I looked around to see other's surprised reaction. I don't know of how Air Europa stocks or current state of economy are; but after dropping €60 for 1 checked in luggage, I'd expect a free beverage or light snack provided. Even the hot tea was €2.50. Im not happy and warning other's not to use this airline."

At the time of making the booking,your website didn't show how & where to pay for Che k in baggage but when I checked in at the airport I had to pay 60 euros each for check in baggage when I had paid only $50 for the airfare. I think it's highway robbery to charge so much for checkbin baggage by deceiving passengers of not providing the option to pay half the price at the time of purchasing the ticket. I would never book another ticket through your site & will make sure I tell everyone to do the same. I had worse experience ever."

The process is not organized, nor did I (along with other passengers) understand why another checkpoint was being unexpectedly required.. 2. The food onboard (main meal - beef and snack - calzone) were not good; although they were served hot, they were bland and unappetizing. Contrary to popular belief, not all airplane food is "bad". 3. And finally, the restrooms were not kept clean during the flight - I had never seen that on any of the nternational airlines I've taken over several years."

Also our flight had electrical and engine problems at our first stop in Freetown. Once we landed in Monrovia, it took about 35mins for them to let us off the plane because the doors were not working and opening up. Once we finally got off the plane, it took a whole 2 hours for them to get our baggage e off the plane because spmething was wrong and they couldnot access the baggage to take it off. I am aware that planes can “fly with one engine”, but flying a plane with one engine along with it having electrical problems is not safe and A RISK! why take that risk of something bad happening, not only would lives of innocent people and their crew get lost, but that is a million dollar assest that could get lost and a PR nightmare. It is a shame they took that risk. They also dodnt tell us until we landed. Had I known before we took off at Freetown I would have gladly fot off and found another mode of transportation to get to my final destination. SN Brussels is know to send their sh*tty planes to Africa, because there are always problems with the planes heading to that continent. It is just another obvious proof of their racism."

Never ever use Brussels Airline."
Prós: "The crew members were kind and friendly and went the extra mile to be helpful."
Contras: "The entertainment screen was about 6 inches wide and there were only four movies to choose from (one that was older than the hills). The screen wasn't clear. Hard to believe that there was such poor technology for a flight from the U.S. to Europe. Also, there were no ports to charge phones or tablets which made it near impossible to watch entertainment on a phone or tablet due to low battery levels. The wi-fi was not strong. I typically like food on an airplane, but this food was not something to be enjoyed. I hope to not fly Brussels Airlines/United again. I'll stick with British Airways and American."

When I came (BRU), they told me to wait in 3 different lines, wasting 30 minutes, before I got to the correct line. Then board the flight to return was a 45 minute delay. It's like these guys were totally new to the airline business."

Contras: "Aircraft need to stay grounded for 2 hours for repairs... After we already boarded! It was very hot, everyone was sweating profusely and facing themselves with magazines. The flight should have just been delayed and everyone should have waited in the comfort of the airport terminal to board later rather than suffering. The headrests are horrible. They jut out and but stress on you upper back, and force you to slouch, which hurts your lower back. I am a pretty resilient young dude, but even I was packing my sweatshirt, pillow, and blanket behind my back to make the seat mildly comfortable. A car style seat would have been much much more comfortable. Worst of all, I had a 12 hour layover, and during that time MY BAG DIDN'T EVEN GET PUT ON THE PLANE! I am on a budget so I couldn't buy toiletries and clothes to wear so I stank for days before my bags were located, brought from Toronto to Brussels, and then delivered to where I'm staying in Belgium. This is easily the worst flying experience I have ever had in my life."
