They were doing some sort of passport control and only had 1 person for all of economy. It took forever and seemed unnecessary since we all had our documents checked when we were at the check in counter.
One of my bags didnt arrived. It was a priority bag. And the flight was a really bad experience. There were two kids (2-3 years old) from two families in business class that cried during literally 10 hours! Was a really long flight

From Chicago I used my ticket and say SWISS staff what my son will have trip only from Moscow. I paid for 2 tickets around $1700. Today when we should have trip back to USA, SWISS company said what ticket for my son do not exsist. And I spent for new ticket 220000 rubles about $3600. Nobody in SWISS company do not said me what my tocket for son canceled. I am shoked !!!"

This flight was excellent. Left and arrives ahead of schedule. The plane was only half full and they actually let people lay down in rows of empty seats. The crew was super kind to a large family with a bunch of kids who wanted to be closer together. I think Delta purposely avoids turbulence more than other airlines because I never experience jarring flights, even the red eyes. They served two meals onboard (which were honestly pretty gross but they are doing their best). Also the newer planes have really cool lighting that helps with jet lag because they mimic the sunset and sunrise colors, and have polarized windows that extend “night time” until they are ready to land in the morning. Pretty cool.

Check in was a disaster. We had to check in to each leg separately - and had to figure that out on our own. Buying a FinnAir marketed flight created a nightmare.
O vôo atrasou 1 hora, até aí tudo bem. Prefiro chegar atrasada e bem do que não chegar. Mas o problema foi o pouso em Helsinki, o avião desceu extremamente rápido, foi assustador, as pessoas se assustaram, o ouvido doeu bastante, o do meu esposo doeu durante 2 dias. Parecia que tinha estourado os tímpanos. Tivemos a sensação de que havia tido uma despressurização. Assustador.

Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

The plane seemed comfortable but the seats sit too far back, so when the person in front of me sat his seat back, his head was almost in my lap. It made it hard for me to move or read or do anything. The food was super bland and the drink options were pretty limited. The entertainment selection was much more limited than most flights."

The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line."

When you are on a 8 + hour flight. People want their own screen with their own options. Been on many flights to and from Eruope , this was the only flight that was set up like this. Change it"

Contras: "Philadelphia airport services were terrible: - immigration processing was too long and took more than one hour dur to out of service customs machines and insufficient immigration personnel. - luggage handling at the airport careless and resulted in the breaking of some of my belongings."
Prós: "I was running late getting through check-in because there was an abandoned backpack that caused a huge mob scene and delay. The American Airlines/(Finnair) check-in staff were WONDERFUL and made it all OK, pulling us out of the mob to get us through check-in. Then I went through security, which the check-in staff had tried to expedite, and got stopped for a random inspection. Then, after boarding passes were scanned, I was again stopped for a random search that took apart every zippered corner of my purse and my carry-on bag. But again, everyone was lovely to deal with. By the time I got on the plane I was grateful for having caught the flight, and for the kindness of the Paris staff, and marveling at what an obstacle course it had been. And I had enough leg room."
Contras: "1. The sound on my in-flight screen did not transmit the movie sounds, so I read a book all the way back. 2. The red wine was great to have. The food was like school cafeteria food, so I ate what I had brought with me. 3. The seats on airplanes never fit my body right. I sit very straight and upright, and I'm fairly tall. The airplane seats keep forcing my head forward and my back into a hunch."

Contras: "A bit confusing and not sufficiently emphasized and explained. There were two sets of record finders, two sets of billing. For a while, I was wondering if I was double billed."
The flight was cancelled, and communication from the airline and kayak was impossible, making for an incredibly stressful trip which may also involve losing a lot of money (I am still trying to figure out how to contact the airline to make sure that I don't lose my return trip).

Contras: "For an older couple like us did not like having to climb the steps up into the Plane and being out in the rain did not help. However that was not the worst part of the arrangement between getting off the Aer Lingus plane and with so little time to reach the gate for our BA flight to Denver it was a total disaster. Due to a minor problem my wife had with her foot I had asked for a wheel-chair to be available when we got off the plane at Heatrow. Good job that I did because with out their help we would never have made it in time for your flight to Denver. Between up and down in elevators, running along the corridors, in and out of a bus and I myself trying to catch up with those poor attendants. I was sorry that I did not get a second wheel chair for my self. Only for the flight was delayed by about 20 minutes we would have missed the flight. Who ever was responsible for making the arrangements of just allowing a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes between flights needs to figure out a better time schedule before people of our age ends up getting stressed out and end up with a heart attack. Very stressful indeed, believe I will never let this happen to me again. Fly/Us you need to fix this."
Contras: "Supposed to leave Boston at 9:30 pm, instead 1:30 am. It was said they knew this the day before and sent emails to passengers. No one who I spoke to, including myself, got one. Aer Lingus hired another carrier to do this flight—plane, crew —no Aer Lingus personnel. Everyone was nice, but. Had made arrangement for early morning checkin. Got to the hotel SO late that they waved a fee and had our room ready. Was going to sightsee the first afternoon—basically lost a day of seeing Dublin."
Prós: "The crew are the friendliest, nicest crew. I’ve flown Iberia and JetBlue the past year and the Aer Lingus crew are so much more hospitable and service oriented. From cockpit announcements keeping passengers up to date on flight info, to food service, the crew does an excellent job."
Contras: "Boarding the plane was too chaotic. There seemed to be a lot of confusion. They were boarding rows 8-23 but no one was getting through the gate to the plane. Before anyone from this group got on the plane, they added rows 24-46. Ambiguity causes stress. A more orderly lining up of passengers would be less stressful."

The cabin crew was friendly. But boarding takes forever and the flight gad long delays on both inbound and outbound flight
