Contras: "Overall not bad. Food service can be better but it is due to the pandemic currently. Overall excellent flight!"

Prós: "The Movie selection was pretty good for such a long flight."
Contras: "Seats front to back is WAY too short in economy. Person in front of me put their seat back putting my movie screen 2in in front of my face. Plus, when a meal arrived, I had to put my elbows into my neighbors seat to cut because I couldn't put them front to back. Crew seemed uncaring."

Prós: "Flight was on time, smooth take-off and landing, and gluten-free meal available (ordered before through Delta.com). Alcohol was available at each drink service."
Contras: "No gluten-free snacks, lack of gluten-free awareness by crew, and gluten-free meal had an apple instead of the (gluten-free) ice cream bar the other meals included for the dessert."

Boarding was disorganized and not by priority. Gate agents allowed passengers bull rush the gate and allowed line cuts. They lost control."

Contras: "Our flight kept on getting delays, we were seated separated, a kid was hitting my seat during the whole flight even after skiing the mother to stop her child, not sure what is the solution there but I would suggest that in your announcements in the beginning you could mention a rule of respect to others like in the movies a little subtle regulation about other passengers space respect."

Prós: "Flight was late leaving JFK. I paid extra for Comfort Plus and had the most uncomfortable seat ever. My back ached during and after the flight. Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."
Contras: "Not being on time. Not delivering service stated. Sitting on a taxi way for extra time. Having to disembark down steep slippery stairs, basically an emergency exit. This trip was late from start to finish."

Prós: "Good choice of video programs."
Contras: "The flight attendant took 25 minutes to appear, and had enough time for one round of service. First class, at least you should get two drinks. Fly basic economy, there just isn’t any reason to fly first class."

Prós: "I enjoy being a Gold SkyMiles member, which gives me the perk of being in priority boarding. I also enjoy seating in Delta comfort, especially on long flights such as the one to LA. Delta has greatly improved on keeping their passengers entertained by having the latest movies to watch, as well as, satellite television. Additionally, the mobile app is excellent since it allows you to check in and track your luggage."
Contras: "Delta needs to improve their food and snack choices. The snack choices (cookies, chips, fruit, pretzels) wasn't horrible but could be better. As far as food to purchase, Delta's menu is extremely limited and not worth the price of purchasing."

Contras: "By mistake I booked my ticket for the wrong date Called to change it, wait time was over 2hrs went to the delta app and it cost me $200 to do it. Get to airport and ask for an up grade not possible but if I paid $200 when rebooking the flight I could have gotten one. Snacks were horrible and I have a delta card and was charged $29 to get in plus a charge for my extra suitcase. It’s ridiculous given the amount of money I spend on m card on the monthly basis. Very disappointing"

Prós: "Having just exited the AeroMexico flight that came across as unprofessional, it was refreshing to get on a Delta flight. It was not really exceptional, but it met my expectations. The Delta agent on the telephone on the day before our flight WAS exceptional, as she tried valiantly to get us checked in to a flight that had been changed (by Aeromexico) several times. Delta was also exceptional in helping us retrieve our luggage after AeroMexico lost it."
Contras: "The noise by the engines in the back section on the Delta flight was rather unbelievable. As a physician, I think it was likely physically damaging to our hearing. If this interior aircraft noise can’t be avoided, I think earplugs should be offered to passengers in those seats."

Contras: "Still don’t know why I’m always zone 3. Also, need to stop people in main cabin from putting seats back. Either everyone would need to be like dominoes or basically they are just getting rid of what little space there is."

He said he had them reset mine. Hee must have furthermore until they did the beverages. They tried twice, nothing worked. No movies, no audio, no light. Nothing done, no compensation. NYC to Seattle, a long flight tho not even read my magazines."

Prós: "Even with a 90 minute delay getting out of Seatac caused because some one checked their luggage but didn't get on the plane, Delta made sure that everyone made their connecting flights in Tokyo. In my hurry I left a charging cable on the late flight but right after I got settled on the next flight, and before I'd even figured out that I'd left it, a Delta attendant handed it to me."

I believe this is evil underhanded extortion after you had already published price and I had agreed by clicking to buy the ticket."

Contras: "Have to request wheelchair service twice as the receiving staff handing the wheelchair to another company for departure staff. Only one counter handles wheelchair request at each leg. They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."

Contras: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Prós: "Last year I flew Lufthansa which was my worst experience flying ever. I thought the new standard was so low I would never fly to Europe again. I had heard KLM was good but I felt this was as good as could be expected actually much better. The food was even good."

I asked when the meal would be and was told a few hours...which turned out to be breakfast..i wated all night for food that only came an hour before landing. Now hungrey and tierd.I.will not be flying klm ever again !!"

Contras: "KLM needs to upgrade the entertainment. It was very hard to see the images on the screen. The planes that KLM uses are old and they sure need to be upgraded."

Contras: "Our two hour connection in Paris became 30 minutes because Air France was late in leaving Washington. So our luggage didn't make to to KLM to Amsterdam. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Prós: "Decent meal (warm Pasta all'arrabbiata), nice little muffin for dessert and standard drinks (coffee & tea were a bonus, as they didn't serve any on a similar flight, from Barcelona to Amsterdam), friendly cabin crew."
Contras: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Prós: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Prós: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Contras: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

Contras: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

Prós: "Leg room is bigger than average, there is also a foot step which helps you to relax."
Contras: "There must be lice on the plane, either from the customer or on the seats. Got bitten 6 times on the leg and butt!!! And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Contras: "Ran out of the (already not sufficient) salty crackers and, as the flight had been delayed, we had a one packet of cracker 'lunch' at noon... the flight really should have had a sandwich or at least something slightly more substantial."

Contras: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."

Prós: "Cheap aircraft, not even headsets"
Contras: "Dirty aircraft, I expect more when I pay a lot"

Contras: "Meal choice missing kosher non-gluten combination."

Contras: "The company failed to transfer my checked-in bag to the next flight during the transfer apparently"

Prós: "Panamá airport is a disaster, unorganized and dirty"

Contras: "Better communication about handicap persons. I called twice and notified two people about my mom and her wheelchair but no one tells the gate to put a ramp up to the regional jet on the tarmac. Three ring circus as usual ."

Prós: "Upon learning that our flight was delayed, the flight attendants brought out snacks and water right away."
Contras: "They started a movie, then restarted the same one an hour into it. After it ended, they played a second movie and cut it off half way to show other programming. Who would bother with a movie knowing only a part of it is being shown? That is disrespectful of our time. Boarding was a mess- everyone at once, most bags put below with luggage even though most overhead compartments were empty."

Contras: "I’m not sure how this flight was as I missed it due to a delay from YYZ to ORD"

Contras: "7.5 hr flight from Lisbon to Philadelphia on a dingy old plane that looks like it hasn’t been retrofitted in close to 20 years, with no charging ports for electronics, which seems insane in this day and age, especially for such long flights. Had no in-seat entertainment systems either, and only offered news and sports on the American wi-fi service — not their usual lineup of movies and TV."

Prós: "Sat at the gate for a while before pushing off. An announcement would be nice. Crammed into tiny seats. Wi fi didn't work (broken yesterday and they didn't fix). Very limited entertainment options on an 8 hour flight."
Contras: "Reasonably on time. Quit trying to sell us credit cards. How about improving the flying experience?"

Contras: "Confusion when boarding. Uncomfortable seat. No entertainment on a international flight! What kind of person thinks that is a good idea? I thought I will be flying British Airway for the flight back home that is why I bought this whole flight ticket. If I had known it will be AA flying back, I would fun as far away as possible."

Prós: "My flight was fine - I paid for a Premium Seat, which also allowed me a premium boarding position, which I highly recommend for anyone flying. The seat was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and I really liked the in-flight entertainment."
Contras: "At the DFW security post for my gate, there was NO TSA-pre. That service stops at 7pm. I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

Contras: "No airline has trans Atlantic flights without personal entertainment anymore. I expect it and am super disappointed when I don’t get my movies."

Prós: "Flight was pleasant and all the crew members were courteous."

Prós: "Great pilot. Outstanding control over the plane. Arrived an hour and a half before originally forecasted three days prior."

Contras: "Flight was delayed almost two hours due to crew staffing issues."

Contras: "Flight attendants were short and condescending to multiple passengers and made everyone throw away bottled water and food given on the plane threatening that it would prompt search by the agriculture department during customs. Additionally, skipped rows for food service and trash pick up."

Contras: "I nearly missed my flight because I did not have a seat for a flight that I bought a ticket for at full price. Which, would lead one to believe that I would have a seat on said flight. However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

Prós: "Nice people good plane ride -- no problems."

Contras: "Forced to check my carry on. Took 30min for the bags to come out on the carousel. Which is why i never check my bag."

Prós: "Food was fine."
Contras: "Plane was old and didn't include personal screens in the seats, for an 8+ hour flight it should be mandatory. Everything about the plane felt old and slightly dirty, and while flying across the Atlantic, it's slightly nerve wracking to still see cigarette disposals in the bathroom and on the seats (reminding you just how old the plane is)! The boarding process was a bit crazed, we were put on buses in no particular priority order and dropped off at the plane to all board at the same time!"

Contras: "The airplane was older technology on three of the four legs. No charging outlets, or personal entertainment except on one flight. They also lost our bag, so that really stinks. They Gate checked my bag, and didn't give me a ticket. I even told them that I'd prefer a ticket, in case something goes wrong, and they replied 'oh no worries, it'll be up in baggage claim". I looked him squarely in the eyes abs I said, OK I'll wing it, but I trust you! He said no worries."
