There were only two agents and they were working at a snail's pace. It was incredibly frustrating and if this happens often, those flights shouldn't be advertised as connecting."

Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility."

While at DUB going to LHR none of the Aer Lingus staff told us we were to go to British Airways terminal until we got to counter. Why couldn’t there be advance notice?Aer Lingus is lame. This was my first & last time I fly Aer Lingus."

Instead of arriving in Paris at 4:30 PM (a direct flight) we had to take a flight to London and then to Paris and arrived at 11 PM exhausted (the bus service to Paris had closed down and we had to take a taxi). We will never fly Aer Lingus again. Aer Lingus created the long line to create this very situation!"

Iberia just needs to be more organized."

Contras: "Boarding @ JFK was a joke. That part of airport is currently under construction, so massive # of ppl & not enough room for everyone. Once on plane, all reasonably good until we reached altitude & settled in for the evening. At that point, for some reason the heat came on between rows 39 & 46 (we were in row 45) & was on all. night. long. on an overnight flight. Crew was baffled & didn’t know how to fix. I was melting & miserable — impossible to sleep. Cramped, basic economy seats. Awful experience."
Prós: "First time flying El Al. Hopefully my last. They delayed the flight to give three people - two of whom were ladies iver the age of fifty - intensive security screens. I was given one as well. They took my laptop, one of my pbones, my tanlet, and my headphones. This would havr neen bearable if El Al invested in its cabins, but that doesnt seem the case. The headphones provided were similar to models from the 90s (and worked just as well), there was no individual screen for entertainment, and the seats were exceedingly cramped. At least the Wi-Fi was free."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

No fault of yours, but the Venice airport was a nightmare. I am use to airports in the US and was shocked how long the line was to get through to our gate. We couldn’t even find the end because it wrapped around like an “S”. Surprised we had to print our boarding pass (but was never asked for it); couldn’t do a mobile boarding pass."

Contras: "We were served only one drink on a four hour flight. Couldn’t find a flight attendant to get a glass a water. Had my flight attendant call button on for a long time with no response. Flight attendants walked right by while attending to other tasks and never even asked what I needed. There were a few call button lights on that never seemed to be answered. I asked for water but never received it. Rouge seems to be a very sub par airline from its Air Canada parent, as I fly Air Canada frequently and am not new at this. This airline needs to work on customer service and it’s image."
Prós: "Overnight flight so slept. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful."
Contras: "Cramped seating. No entertainment."

Contras: "No power plugs in a 4h+ flight is not acceptable. That should be standard for every passengers. Unclean seats. General abrasiveness from some of the staff."

Contras: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."
Prós: "I can't fault Air Canada Cabin crew - they are absolutely wonderful. I had a situation with a woman who decided she wanted to take my window seat and the cabin crew was amazing with how they handled the situation. They are always so friendly, attentive."
Contras: "Boarding at Frankfurt airport was God Awful. The supervisor there was so rude to people, treating us all like cattle. The boarding process was unorganized, confusing, we were getting conflicting instructions from staff and then verbally abused by the supervisor there."
Contras: "Extreme delays on my return flight which made me miss my connection and get rebooked on another flight for the next day. We were delayed on departure, then on the tarmac, then in the air, and finally when getting off the plane. I am glad that I was rebooked and was given a hotel to stay at, but I did not like the way I was treated by Air Canada staff at customs. I passed through customs only to be sent back into Canada after having crossed through security because the staff decided to close. We were told by other staff members that it was up to them to decide when they were done and to talk them. I ran through the whole airport with about 7 other people to make it. Why make us cross through security only to send us back? There was no one there to guide us on what to do. I had to go through the whole thing again the following day only to have my face cream taken away (it is technically cream, not a liquid) and then be detained. None of this happened AT ALL the day before. I'd give more details but it was a complete mess."
Contras: "I have taken 6 flights with your company in the last two weeks. Each has had a minimum of 45 min delay. Your seats are very small. Your planes seem dated and have no entertainment system on board, oh unless I want to pay another $10 bucks for an Ipad.. Food , what food. You did not have half of the items on your own menu.. and when I bought some cheese and crackers, I had to remind the lady that cashews were in the picture too. You have a mediocre airline, nothing to brag about here."
Prós: "That it got us to Italy."
Contras: "Crew was outright rude, seemed to go out of their way to be disrespectful and unhelpful, no information ahead of time to download the app to get the then subpar entertainment. No wifi option. Seats horribly filthy, gum stuck, trash, magazines all outdated and torn up, and little to no room. Worse than any other airline. food was pretty gross."
Prós: "This was not a Luftansa flight!! It was Air Canada Rouge which is a budget airline that doesnt compare to Luftansa"
Contras: "The fact that it said thia was a luftansa flight when in fact it qas not"
Contras: "2 hour delay, lack of connecting ticket made me have to go through security all over again, the "entertainment" is an app for your smartphone/tablet."

Contras: "Online checkin does not inform passenger if their passport is suitable for travel. Although my online checkin was successful, once at the airport the attendant would not allow boarding because expiration was within 6 months of travel - a requirement for certain countries. It would be much more efficient - for airline and passengers - if the online check in system can catch this before arrival at the airport."

Contras: "*The in-flight entertainement required you tonise your own mobile devices, but locks "premium" content (movies) and forces you to install an app to view it - which you can't do once your on the plane and have no wifi. Also, there's no way my iPad would've lasted 7h without a charging port anyways..."
Prós: "Friendly service is so important to me - and the staff and flight crew at Air Canada met all my expectations. I had the displeasure of flying United on the way to Seattle and I must say the service at Air Canada is far above!"

Prós: "1. Pilot kept plane informed which is great especially when there is potential turbulence."
Contras: "1. No entertainment on the flight. Not even opportunity to see where the plane is in flight and when we will arrive. No USB charger on the flight. Very outdate plane. 2. The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."
Contras: "There was 3 hour delay on the first flight, that made me miss my connecting flight then they booked another flight which was not a direct flight but with an additional stop. I reached Toronto 7 hours later than my original landing time"
Contras: "There was a thunderstorm & a wreck that morning, so even though we planned to arrive 90 minutes before boarding we ended up not making it until avout 62 minutes before flight time. They only had one gate agent and she stepped away before we could check in. Assuming she'd be right back, we waited for her instead of checking in by terminal. By the time she returned it was too late to check in and they wouldn't let us board. Air Canada didn't have another flight until the next day, so we had to spend $5000 to re-book our flight on a different airline."
Contras: "Small legroom and poor selection in the entertainment provided via wifi"
Contras: "I cannot believe the nickel and dining of this company. I was on a 3 hour international flight (just USA to Canada, but still), and they served no snacks. Not even a bag of pretzels! Forget about free alcoholic beverages you normally get on international flights."

Prós: "On time departure and arrival and a friendly crew helped keep this flight smooth despite some turbulence. The fact that there have been electrical outlets on this route for so long is a testimony to the Continental heritage."
Contras: "The seats in economy are just so tight that sleep on this short overnight flight was almost impossible. The lack of more recline (as in the recarro sears used on the LH/LX products) and short pitch make it hard to either work or sleep. The small plane size makes this sardine feeling worse and slows service to the rear of be craft."

Contras: "The flight was half empty and when I tried to move a row ahead of me (from economy to economy plus), the flight attendance rudely told me I had to move back to my seat since the economy plus seat was $70 more. However, a reasonable airline would upgrade their customers to first or economy plus to not only appease their customers but to fill some empty seats. Therefore, I had to spend the entirety of my redeye flights crammed next to someone while I was looking at an almost empty economy plus section. Also, we boarded earlier than expected but we spend an extra hour on the flight waiting to take off. I would not have minded boarding early if we had taken off early, but we took off an hour later."
Prós: "He was the epitome of the Friendly Skies. Chatted with whom wished to chat was quite near those that wanted to snooze on this early morning flight."
