The cabin crew service was better for this flight than a recent San Francisco to Chicago leg of the trip. The food service also was better. Unfortunately there were flight disruptions at the layover point in both my "there" and "back" legs of my trip (San Francisco to Boston).
Contras: "Canceled flight caused me to remain in a hotel for another day. Confusing check in. No one to help. Machines broken. Unable to disembark from the plane. Bad logistics all the way around."
Prós: "The entertainment choice on AA and the in flight wifi are super! The flight attendants were impeccable."
Contras: "My flight was supposed to be on May 26 but I got bumped! The counter at Lax was completely UNDERSTAFFED! At one time the three customer service representatives were stuck with ‘difficult cases’ for over 20 minutes - the line did not move AT ALL! With roughly 75 passengers in line this is unacceptable. I sprang into action and demanded quicker service from the supervisor Seth telling him that people are going to miss their flights. He showed no people skills and decided to be confrontative, inquiring since when I was in line and telling me that I should have come earlier; he did admit that he was understaffed that day but could not do anything about it. After having waiting in line for 1 hour it took the representative too long to check out my Covid Test done by the company AA partnered with - and because of a missing ‘entry registration’ and the use of my married name on the Covid Test instead of my maiden name on my passport ( I had documentation to prove the validity of both names) I stood no chance to rectify any of it as the cut off time for the flight had approached. Instead I was issued a ticket for the next day. No smile, no empathy - I really felt treated like cattle...When I came to the same counter the next day the wait to see a customer service representative was 10 minutes!!!! Which proves my point that they were completely understaffed on May 26! And I had to get a hotel at LAX! On the flight on the 27 May I found the breakfast on board to be very disappointing: no bread, no deli meat and no cheese but yoghurt instead."

Prós: "Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight."
Contras: "There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering."

Contras: "I purchased a WiFi pass and the WiFi did not work. Since the airplane does not have individual TV’s on each seat, it makes it for a very long flight. I also did not like that the passengers had to take a bus to the airplane and we’re shoved like sardines in a can in 95 degree weather."

Contras: "They started a movie, then restarted the same one an hour into it. After it ended, they played a second movie and cut it off half way to show other programming. Who would bother with a movie knowing only a part of it is being shown? That is disrespectful of our time. Boarding was a mess- everyone at once, most bags put below with luggage even though most overhead compartments were empty."

Contras: "7.5 hr flight from Lisbon to Philadelphia on a dingy old plane that looks like it hasn’t been retrofitted in close to 20 years, with no charging ports for electronics, which seems insane in this day and age, especially for such long flights. Had no in-seat entertainment systems either, and only offered news and sports on the American wi-fi service — not their usual lineup of movies and TV."
Contras: "The flight was delayed and then the airport in Philadelphia "wasn't aware" that we were coming to it took forever to get off the plane. I would have missed my next flight if they didn't wait for us. Also I couldn't check in online beforehand, which was frustrating. Also I waited in line at the British Airways desk to check in and it was a long line. When I finally got to the front I was told I had to check in at the American Airlines desk and I wish I had been told that earlier. One staff member was rude when I asked him to repeat the food options."
Prós: "The crew made up for almost of the terrible things about the flight."
Contras: "The outdated plane had no plug in capability. No Gogo or individual in flight entertainment. The food was most inedible, the vegetarian snack was a hard baguette with old sliced tomatoes and wilted lettuce. I couldn’t eat most of what was served because it was so terrible."
Prós: "Three beer and three wine selection made the flight go by quicker. Food was better than expected based on pasta or shepherd's pie options."
Contras: "Full flight with uncomfortable seats, no tv/movies at each seat. Our AA four-hour flight after this was much nicer, with in flight entertainment. What?! I haven't flown on an international flight without entertainment at each seat in 10 years... And I have flown to over 40 countries since then."
Prós: "Sat at the gate for a while before pushing off. An announcement would be nice. Crammed into tiny seats. Wi fi didn't work (broken yesterday and they didn't fix). Very limited entertainment options on an 8 hour flight."
Contras: "Reasonably on time. Quit trying to sell us credit cards. How about improving the flying experience?"

Eu disse que teria que seguir o que estava falando e eles nem quiseram ler o email que a própria American me enviou. No final a passagem tinha sido emitida em novembro e podia ser uma de 32 kg."
Contras: "Confusion when boarding. Uncomfortable seat. No entertainment on a international flight! What kind of person thinks that is a good idea? I thought I will be flying British Airway for the flight back home that is why I bought this whole flight ticket. If I had known it will be AA flying back, I would fun as far away as possible."

Para voos tão longos, as cias aéreas deveriam pesar em algum solução para manter o padrão de limpeza durante todo o voo, não somente no embarque."
Contras: "Our seats were overbooked , causing us to almost miss our international connection. The staff were somewhat rude, but did try to solicit volunteers to give up seats and eventually the 4 passengers in my party did fly. But it was a very stressful 1hour until the issue was settled!"

Contras: "I was traveling today with my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, my 3 1/2 & 18 month old grandsons, my husband & son-in law on an international flight from Chicago to Manchester. I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!"

Já fiz uma avaliação e ao enviar pediram pra fazer de novo. Lá vai. Vou copiar dessa vez. No voo de Mahakesh pra São Paulo a tribulação e especialmente o 👩✈️ piloto foi muito boa e educada . Mas na de São Paulo para Mahakesh pareciam mulheres todas com tpm, muito grosseiras. De Mahakesh pra São Paulo a minha tela não funcionava pra nada. Nem para instruções da tripulação, nem para filme. Não foi legal. Me incomodou tbm a mesquinhez na hora de servir sucos e cafés - só um pouquinho em cada xícara. Não é por seguranças porque dava para observar como serviam na Business Class. Parecia uma coisa muito relacionava . Nunca passei tanta sede em avião . Enfim, foi a passagem mais barata que encontrei, mas na dúvida se o aborrecimento compensou .

Ficam mal humorados se pedimos água junto com a bebida escolhida Essa tripulação específica de Mahakesh pra São Paulo foi muito gentil, muito boa . A tripulação de São Paulo para Mahakesh foi um horror. Pareciam todas com TPM. Foi a passagem mais barata, mas me deu arrependimento de ter ido por essa companhia .

Long delays in Frankfurt without communication or care much for passenger comfort. Once inside the plane, everything was good and the staff was very friendly. Due to delay, lost connecting flight to Lisbon. Iberia staff in Madrid were courteous and helpful and book me on the next flight available in the morning and arranged a hotel. They did their best and the experience could have been much worse, but it still had these negative experiences.
I flew round trip on “Iberia”. 4 flights and I never took an Iberia plane. They put us on a budget airline transatlantic.
American Airlines is the worst. Every time I’ve flown with them, there’s constant delays or cancellations. This particular flight was delayed four times
The crew was the most friendly ever! Just made no sense the fact that we couldn’t get the bearding pass on a timely manner due to issues with CDC site, it was caused not by the AA WORKER, she was great, but something wouldn’t work in the system and it took us over an hour till we could get our boarding passes. And makes no sense to us why we couldn’t seat together. There were plenty couples separated and we had to swap seats. It was a long flight so you’d rather sit w a partner. So if there’s anyway to allow us flying coach to pick our seats ahead of time like most airlines that would be wonderful!, this way there wouldn’t be surprises at boarding.

There was delays on my departure flight and return flight both due to mechanical issues. The flight crew has us fill out re-entry documents on the return trip from Portugal to US that were unnecessary since the airport has kiosk to take the information. This made the disembarking very stressful.

I think it was silly that we needed to get a new boarding pass after we showed proof of a negative covid test. I think this proof could have been done online when booking the flight. It seemed very inefficient to do at the gate for everyone.

Um prêmio para a Iberia de como tratar mal seus passageiros, não respeitando inclusive a saúde dos mesmos, servindo uma comida pouco saudável. Ao pedir um vinho branco, as pessoas da Iberia, informam que não tem. Depois você verifica que tem, ou seja, a pessoa da Iberia não falou da verdade. Resumindo, uma total falta de respeito. Without warning or reason, after I printed my boarding pass and got to the airport, United changed my seat at the gate from 32A to 48L even though I paid extra to choose my seat. I also prepaid for a snack box that got lost in the transaction. Total confusion. And the boarding process was a mess.
The boarding process in Newark was a complete disaster and total chaos. They had us board and then we didn’t leave for an hour and a half. Terrible.

Contras: "A cada dia que passa , os espaços entre os assentos , diminuem (em todas as Cias) ficando cada vez mais desconfortavel, de viajar, e para pessoas com alguma necessidade especial , pior fica, ou você ganha muito dinheiro e viaja na classe executiva ou está fadado a chegar ao destino totalmente torto. Tenho 4 hérnias de disco, e está ultima viagem foi um verdadeiro terror , ficar expremido nas poltronas da classe economica."
Contras: "Why would United use a 757 when they know that if the plane is full and there is a strong headwind that the fuel capacity won't get them to their destination! Of course this happened to me. We were diverted to Newfoundland to refuel (after spending 3 hours sitting on the tarmac while the captain arranged to redirect). THEN... the flight crew had been working too long and they had to send another crew which took 4 extra hours. 17 hours from Lisbon to Newark is unacceptable! It could have all been avoided with a larger plane."
Prós: "The head Steward & Stewardess were terrific... the JR attendant had serious bad attitude... 1/3 glass of wine without even an apology or a “ let me get more “ seemed to be NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY?"
Contras: "My in seat entertainment screen didn’t work... the ear buds didn’t work properly... United must be having problems... I’m sooooo disappointed!"

Contras: "I saw your email informing me that departure would be delayed almost an hour, that was sent 50 min after its scheduled departure. By then I was out of the airport, picking up my car in long-term parking, and making my miserable way back home. It was a 3 and a half hour drive to get there."

Contras: "Nos voos de Houston para Denver e de Denver para Vancouver o espaço entre as poltronas era muito apertado e com grande desconforto, mesmo se tratando de voos curtos (2h e 3,5h). A comida era escassa e se resumia em apenas um pacote de 30g de snacks nos voos também de Houston-Denver e Denver Vancouver."
