From the comfortable seats, the fabulous dinner, the outstanding Swiss staff from the baggage check to the wonderful flight attendants, the flight to Zürich and the return trip to Boston was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Swiss. I would love to be able to fly Swiss Business again when I travel to Zürich in September 2019."

Contras: "The plane seats are closely spaced. I'm not heavy but am tall, so the row spacing isn't the best. The cattle call boarding is not desirable. Would prefer zone boarding."

Contras: "This is ever the first time we flew with Swiss air and will be the last time. The seats are too tight. If the person in front of you inclined his chair for better comfort, then there is quite challenging for you trying to get out of your seat for washroom etc. The crew services were terrible. Between meals time, there were completely no services such as offering water/drink etc.-did not see a single soul of them, especially on a 9 hours long haul flight! The food was ok. The only thing I like was the chocolate handed out at the end of the journey."

Prós: "We did finally take off for our trip and get to our destination. The movies were tremendous help to pass the time. The food was delicious for hungry tired people"
Contras: "The crews rushed passed you and never offered if you needed further. One cup of soda after all those hours waiting left feeling dehydrated. Crews could have been more accommodating as made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of happy to assist me"

Prós: "Even though the flight was very short, the team moved quickly through the cabin ensuring everybody had a drink and a snack. They looked quite concerned when I turned down the pretzel sandwich, so I accepted and found it quite good! Also, team made sure my parent with reduced-mobility had a good boarding and transfer experience."
Contras: "As always, seats are narrow. And the "neighbors" were normal-sized. The usual struggle for elbow "air-space" occurred."

Contras: "Mackenzie Gray/ My flight was cancelled due to bad weather conditions unfortunately. I'm upset that I never received my initinerary for my substitute flight! I tried online and calling the # that was provided no results. I managed to get thru to someone and they told me they would send the info to my email but they never did."

Prós: "Air hostesses were very courteous, friendly and the cabin was clean and comfortable. My flight from jfk to Geneva (then Zurich) was cancelled due to weather in Geneva (Swiss 23) so I got upgraded to a delta flight to Brussels then to Zurich Comfort+ !!! Thank you!"
Contras: "Flight from Zurich to Johannesburg: Swiss 288 (airbus a340-300) Sat in the last row of the Swiss air flight, economy, which was okay but our whole row video enternatinment system didn’t work. You’d pick a movie and it wouldn’t play. The games, camera and flight status animation all worked but not the movies. Air hostess tried resetting , still nothing. But it was a great opportunity to have a lovely conversation with my new German Friend Barbara and read my book! More lactose intolerant alternatives for breakfast which had much (cheese, yogurt, croissant) Other than those two , excellent flight. Thank you Swiss!"

Contras: "I am a frequent flyer from HK to Western Europe and it’s a problem transversal to the majority of the airlines. Service quality drops significantly when coming to Asia. Flights to Europe provide exceptional service."

Contras: "In order to board we were requested to line up at gate according to seating group. And then had to wait there in line standing for almost 45 minutes before we were finally told we could proceed to board. No reason for lining up so far ahead of time....and had to stand....."

Prós: "The food,crew and flight were flawless. Our flight scheduling had us connecting within a thirty minute period in zurich and we had to run to catch the flight. Probably would have missed the connection if our 26 year old son didn't run ahead. Too much drama and no one from swiss air to help. Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Contras: "I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it."

Contras: "I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Contras: "Check in at Berlin was extremly slow. Staff was very unprofessional and not very friendly."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "The 767 is configured oddly and th business class seats are so narrow it feel like you are sleeping in a coffin"

Prós: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Prós: "Crew asked us if we’d like to move to an empty row to be more comfortable without us even requesting it."

Contras: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Prós: "We had a ridiculously tight transit, arriving in Addis Ababa 20 minutes before our Madrid flight was meant to depart, and I was amazed by the outstanding support and assistance provided by the ground staff. Every single person who was meant to make the connecting flight did—and our luggage did too!"

Contras: "We are stuck at the airport because Ethiopian Airlines sent out false and miseading update stating that it’s flight was leaving at 6 PM as opposed to the scheduled 7:30 AM. Because of that no one showed up for the flight and there are no direct flights tomorrow that they would put us on! My father recently had a heart attack and this is causing him immense suffering! Additionally patient with emergencies are waiting to see my husband tomorrow and Tuesday but will not be able to because he stuck at the airport! They are refusing to put us on an airline us direct flight tomorrow! Also we have spent at least seven hours on the phone and misleading (and that’s to put it kindly) statements have been told."

Contras: "We had requested vegetarian meals, which were not provided on either leg of the Ethiopian Airlines flight. In addition, we had to pay an extra baggage fee and the payment process required us to wait for 45 minutes at the check in desk while the agents tried to sort out a problem wiht their computer system. They claimed that the problem was with the integration of their system with SAA's system."

Prós: "Flight time changed without notice. Delays in Medinah caused us to miss our connecting flight to Johannesburg. Really poor communication. No agents would take calls in Jeddah. Really terrible service. Would avoid using this airline at all cost. Not the first time I've been delayed by them"

Contras: "Cabin crew quite distracted. Between rows 19-23, orders were totally mixed up People given wrong food or drinks"

Prós: "New plane fantastic cabin"
Contras: "There was a fight but nothibg to do with the flight crew just some passenger with mental issues"

Contras: "Good not that great - a suggestion - why not something like fresh bread (sandwiches) with cheese and tomato on it - bread often not so fresh"

Contras: "The services at the airport was terrible. The Booked me a flight with only a 30 minute layover. When I try telling the people before boarding the plane, big Norred me. When I told the flight attendant she said she would talk to the captain to see if there’s a way I could get a ride to my next plane so I wouldn’t miss it. That never happened. When we got off the plane no one at the airport would help us and when I was trying to run to my next terminal one of the officers at the airport told me to slow down because I wouldn’t miss the plane and I was fine. When I asked help with directions and told him I was afraid of missing my flight people laughed and walked away. When I finally found my terminal and got to it, my flight had already took off seven minutes prior. I absolutelyHated my experience flying with Ethiopian air. The seats are uncomfortable on the plane, not all the seats recline back the same level, and when I was eating dinner I decided to eat chicken since I can’t eat beef and halfway through the check in my stomach started her and I looked up the chicken and it was still pink inside."

Contras: "The whole thing was a disaster. I lost my connection flight due to incompetence from the Ethiopian airlines representative"

Prós: "The food was delicious"

Contras: "The crew kept on supplying 3 passengers with beer and wine, who obviously had too much to drink already and were obnoxiously loud and disturbing the flight."

Prós: "Boarding was superb"

Contras: "The headphones weren’t working and boarding at Addis was very poor. They should have more personal when checking before the Gates"

Prós: "Everything Kosher food was excellent"
Contras: "Nothing"

Prós: "The crew where very pleasant, The service on the plane was good you had a choice of what meal you would like to have you also had a choice of any movie or entertainment that you would like to see or play there was more leg space and much more comfortable seating"

Contras: "The chairs in economy do not give sufficient leg room especially for tall persons, this would present a challenge on long haul"

Contras: "i did'n't like some of the cabin crew the way they are ....and am very disappointed from kinshasa to my check in i did ask a lady about my bag, she told me i will get my bag to cape straight, and i did ask her two times about the bag, she keep saying the same thing i will get my bag to cape town, so until now i haven't find my bag yet, the number they gave me from the airport no body pic up the phone, so i don't know what i can i do to get my bag......if you can hep me in this mater please contact me on my email or on my cell number 0027 78 470 6195. thank you your best regards."

Prós: "Great crew, decent food"

Contras: "everything about it, from the random cancellation of my flight, to missing my connection, and their inability to get me another flight, spending over 24 hours in travel for a mere 6 hour flight. No customer service, would never recommend Ethiopian Airlines to anyone."

Contras: "Somewhat dirty ( and smelly ) aircraft even though they are a very new fleet. Some seats had strange patches and stains. Overall cabin experience can be improved in terms of hygiene and food quality ( food was mediocre or slightly worse). Seat ahead reclines almost too much into personal space in the new 787 aircraft. The LCD displays don't pivot so it's virtually impossible to view the entertainment when the occupant of the seat in front fully reclines ( a somewhat irritating issue on a long flight )"
