Contras: "This is ever the first time we flew with Swiss air and will be the last time. The seats are too tight. If the person in front of you inclined his chair for better comfort, then there is quite challenging for you trying to get out of your seat for washroom etc. The crew services were terrible. Between meals time, there were completely no services such as offering water/drink etc.-did not see a single soul of them, especially on a 9 hours long haul flight! The food was ok. The only thing I like was the chocolate handed out at the end of the journey."

Prós: "I was late ( I had to drive 230 Km ) and I managed to call in advance the company that was doing the check-in on behalf of SWISS - I asked them the Check-in time closing time and by almost flying ( speeding like crazy ) I arrived before that moment."
Contras: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Contras: "For international travel, I’m always told to get there 3 hours before. For this trip we checked in but didn’t have access to a printer so needed a boarding pass. We wanted to carry on luggage so just needed to print the pass. Swiss was the only airline that wasn’t available on the check-in kiosks. The front desk staff didn’t arrive until closer to 1.5 hours before check in so nearly theall passengers were in a huge line to get passes and check bags."
Prós: "My partner and I loved our first flight with Swiss from JFK to Zurich the chairs was amazing, we enjoyed the full bed and the entertainmnet screen was amazing to enjoy. The food was delicious and the service was amazing."

The chairs barely reclined to a comfortable position. There was no entertainment, just a three and a half hour flight at the flight plan on a small tv hanging over. their was no differentiation between the economy behind us. just the food that was brought to us, other felt the same as well who were traveling in business with us."

The whole idea of booking a business class ticket is the extra comfort that comes with the lay flat seat or at absolute minimum on smaller planes the wider more comfortable seat. Neither of those were present on this flight. Calling this a business class is a rip off."

At the end, I was thanked for my patience and told all should be well and not even given a small upgrade for the distress this caused me. Traveling is disagreeable in general now, and personally, even moreso after this episode."

And your plane crew was extremely rude, this one flight attendant frowned at my wife's face and starting sanitizing her hand after my wife gave her ticket."
Prós: "Our Turkish Airlines flight was late boarding and passengers were upset about not being able to make their connecting flights. The crew handled it well, but anxiety was high. The food is always good and one of the reason I fly Turkish Airlines on a regular basis."
Contras: "Passport Control at Ataturk International was a nightmare with hundreds of people ahead of us in the queue. No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing."

WHEN WE GET THERE THEY TOLD US NO, IT IS ONLY FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS AND WHEN WE EXPLAIN THAT PASSPORT CONTROL SENT US HERE WITH THIS PAPER THEY RESPONDED NO, WE NEED A HOTEL VOUCHER AND WE NEED TO GO BACK. WHEN WE ASK HER TO CALL PASSPORT CONTROL (BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT US TO THEM) TO SPEAK TO THEM YOURSELF, SHE SAYS "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHICH THEN MADE ME SNAP AT HER AND TELL HER WTF DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM? YOU WORK HERE!!" SO WHEN I ASK FOR THE MANAGERS NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT SHE GIVES ME A 5 DIGIT NUMBER THAT LOOKS MORE LIKE A ZIP CODE THEN A PHONE NUMBER. THEN WE GO BACK TO PASSPORT CONTROL WHO TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE A FREE HOTEL AND FOOD THEY CHANGED THERE STORY AND DIRECTED US TO PAY FOR A VISA AND PAY FOR A HOTEL OUTSIDE. SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. THIS IS WHEN I WAS COMING BACK WITH TURKISH AIRLINES. GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION THE FLIGHT WAS LATE 4 HOURS AND LUCKILY FOR US WE HAD A LONG LAYOVER THAT WE DIDNT MISS MY FLIGHT GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION. SO GOING AND RETURNING FLIGHT WAS LATE! WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! I WOULD NEVER FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES! AND WHILE I WAS THERE FINALLY GETTING READY TO GO HOME A MAN SAT BEHIND ME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS GOING ON THE SAME FLIGHT AS HIM AND I TOLD HIM NO WHICH THEN HE STRIKES UP THE CONVERSATION AS TO HOW TURKISH AIRLINES MADE HIM MISS HIS FIGHT AND GAVE HIM HELL! SO I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM! IN THE END HE SAID TO ME TURKISH AIRLINES IS GARBAGE! AND I DONT BLAME HIM!! STAFF WAS THE WORST THING TO DEAL WITH AT TURKISH AIRLINES!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

It seems this airport lacks the capacity needed to get people through efficiently based on the numbers of travelers using it."

Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as, if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

Prós: "Overall, the main leg to Frankfurt was fine for entertainment and boarding; the staff was pleasant; but, the seats on all legs were ridiculously tight, and the planes were packed like sardines. I was stuck on window seats on 2 of 3 legs, despite requesting window seats, and the comfort on all legs was terrible. In future, I will take advantage of an upgrade offer from the Airline."
Contras: "Read previous comments on likes. In summary, the flight was too full, and the service for my seating was OK. That is it... OK."

Contras: "Dear sir or Madam, I’m writing this complaint as I feel so mistreated and so disrespected, I had a ticket# 2208688265549 with a confirmation# WP6DHB travelling from Tulsa , OK, USA to Cairo, Egypt. Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. So I don’t know why he was this way with me, I’m really disappointed specially that is only my first flight with Lufthansa since 2015, that flight manager made me have an extremely rough experience. one more thing when I told him I’m going to compla"
Prós: "I think this airline is a very good airline, but this flight was shorter so it didn't have all of the perks of the longer ones that it usually has."

Prós: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time.
