Prós: "Wine. Good movies"
Contras: "USB charging didn’t work. WiFi wouldn’t connect. Food was horrible. Cheap pasta. Flight attendants are just German, no warmth or connection, they just gave orders like we were employees. Will try to avoid Lufthansa in future if possible"

Contras: "The flight was delayed as we were waiting for documents required for our entry to the UK - surely these should have been ready in advance? Perhaps a taste of things to come if (when) we sadly leave the EU. Same poor sandwiches."

Contras: "For some reason there were 4 really young children seated all in the same area. Kids will be kids, but perhaps spreading them out wouldn’t make one particular area so loud and disturbing. Boarding the plane I a more orderly way would also help."

Prós: "We were flying on their newest Airbus A350-900. It’s a bummer. More seats, less room, not a very nice experience for eight hours. Packed in like sardines. I have travelled LH to Eu the last six summers. I intend to look for a new airline."
Contras: "They have cut back on everything: food, service, breathing space. Their breakfast was truly a joke-a small muffin, four tiny pieces of fruit, and a package of two Oreo cookies. For breakfast -agh. And their reduced staffing barely made it around to serve coffee before we landed."

Prós: "Nice Crew except when they were not watching where they stepped. Smooth flight."
Contras: "I had a swollen and sprained ankle during the flight, I had it resting near the aisle to stretch and move to try and keep it from swelling further. Unfortunately, my injured ankle was kicked several times by a rushed crew member. It would be great if they could be a bit more mindful and watch where they are walking. Also, the breakfast before landing was spoiled when I discovered fungus in my butter after I had already eaten half of it."

Contras: "way too difficult to try to get exit row seats- I went on line precisely 23 hours before the fight and could not figure out the exit rows- legend said they would be marked by a red line but were not. Very frustrating."

Contras: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

Contras: "Canceled and delayed flights are unavoidable but deceitful customer agents is unacceptable. We will never fly Lufthansa again."

Contras: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

Prós: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Contras: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Contras: "The gate was older, not well appointed and far from shops and better dining. We lined up only to be taken on a very long shuttle ride to the plane. I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

Contras: "Flight was very delayed leaving Sofia which made connecting flights for many people a rush and very stressful. People were pulled to the front of the plane and told to rush to catch their flights. My bag didn't make my connecting flight but Austrian delivered it 2 days later."

Contras: "This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities."

Prós: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Contras: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Contras: "Not able to charge my digital devices. When serving beverages and food, the same flight attendant missed me a few times. That was annoying but other attendants were very nice."

Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Contras: "Elbow room is a little bit awkward and I didn't get to sit next to my fiance WE will still definitely recommend KLM though!"

Contras: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Prós: "The crew were lovely and welcoming. We was given snacks and drinks on the flight which was great. Take off was a bit delayed but boarding was smooth. Couldn't complain about the comfort as was only just over an hours flight."

Prós: "Amazing customer service from the moment we arrived at the airport, throughout the checkin process and on the plane. Really extraordinarily amazing given that it was the Saturday of half-term. Cannot praise highly enough."

Contras: "Connection issues from previous flight. Connecting ground staff didn't seem to have their game together. In all fairness, it was after midnight and I don't think it was connected to the Aegean airline. More like airport security."

Contras: "All food/drinks are chargeable, but they will not accept credit cards without a raise number on the front so I couldn't use my travel credit card and then I couldn't use my debit card because they said "often the debit card will not run through while in the air"...fortunately I had some Euros."

Contras: "Last minute gate changes at Heraklion meant lots of confusion & frustration plus late departure. Edinburgh airport is a joke since its recent upgrades, plane sent to wrong bay caused delays getting off then baggage handlers are slow beyond useless, seem to think they are doing everyone a big favour & will do things when it suits them. No help or information from airport staff who promptly vanished at the 1st sign of trouble. Edinburgh airport really needs to have a long hard look at itself."

Prós: "Nice clean plane. Short flight good check in, comfortable seat. Nice staff"
Contras: "No entertainment"

Contras: "Timing and space"

Prós: "Crew were polite, better than on the outward flight from Paris CDG to Leeds, but seemed more interested in chatting to each other than to reassure passengers about the long delays. Once underway, the flight progressed well."
Contras: "When a 30 minute delay was announced (13.45 instead of 13.15), I was fairly philosophical. However, we didn't board until 13.45. Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

Prós: "The convenience of the route"
Contras: "The thumping 'music' as we boarded, the over-jolly announcements which treated the passengers as if they were all mentally deficient or poorly educated. The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again."

Prós: "I actually found the seat quite comfortable, compared with other low-cost airlines. I was glad that i could take my hand luggage onto the plane, allowing me to exit without having to wait at the carousel. There was plenty of space in the overhead locker. I liked the sense of humour in the announcements - it proves that even serious things can be said in a pleasant manner"

Prós: "Last minute booking from Alicante, amazing seat allocation and the flight arrived 35 minutes early."
Contras: "Shame Leeds wasn’t ready for us, took far too long to access the terminal and queue at passport control was a joke. Landed feeling great, now I’m ticked off."

Prós: "Another excellent flight on Jet2 , 35 minute delay but handled with such relaxed professionalism by the crew. Highley recommend *****"

Prós: "- Flight was on time, yet they pad the timetable to make it difficult to be late. - Aircraft was relatively clean considering this was its 4th flight of the day, and the fact it's 29 years old. - More laid back then EZY and FR as they allow a reasonable turnaround time."
Contras: "- Seat assignments don't always make sense, we were split up even though there was an empty row behind us. - Shortly after takeoff passengers moved into the extra legroom seats without paying. - Constant attempt to sell things to you, scratch cards, overpriced drinks etc."

Prós: "Great service and food and smooth all the wsy"
Contras: "BiokAggrevation beforehand trying to book guaranteed cabin baggage"

Prós: "Convenient flights. Friendly staff. Excellent price."
Contras: "Older aircraft means electronic devices can only be used while cruising. Long queue for bag drop due to many flights leaving at once."

Prós: "Friendly, polite crew and clean aircraft both ways."
Contras: "Poor entertainment and lack of holder on seat in front to hold magazines, phone, iPad etc."

Contras: "Was told five minutes before landing that we would be circling the airport for 20 mins due to runway closure which turned into half an hour. When we landed we had to wait a further 10 - 15 minutes before we could taxi to the airport, so nearly an hour late but no delay."

Prós: "Fast, efficient boarding. Helpful cabin staff."
Contras: "Uncomfortable seats that don't recline and seat back pockets have no "give" to fit your personal items."

Contras: "Food"

Contras: "the worst gluten-free food of any airline, and I've tried quite a few! And when the person in front reclines their seat, there's very little space left."

Contras: "The first plane was absolutely filthy. I paid for Wifi and when connection was spotty put my laptop down still with half of the data I purchased unused, but then it wouldn't let me back on later. Food was awful. On the first flight they skipped me for drink service entirely."

Prós: "The crew was very good."
Contras: "Please add more hindi movies"

Prós: "Low price via broker"
Contras: "Because I booked through a broker and saved hundred$ I couldn't bid for an upgrade or use points to upgrade. Also transfer to international (Terminal 3 to 5) at O'Hare is awful especially because you have to go through security again."

Prós: "The first plane left without us, so I didnt like anything about it"
Contras: "We arrived at the airport late because our first plane arrived at the airport late, then we were held up because of poor weather. When we arrived at the Dublin airport, we had to run the gauntlet, only to be told our plane had already left- a few minutes early - thanks a lot. I wanted a drink on the plane and had to pay for it- I’ve always had free drinks before."

Prós: "The crew was nice."
Contras: "We thought we were flying British Airlines. The seats were extremely uncomfortable. Foodcwss not good"

Prós: "Excellent service, staff and airplane was clean and comfortable."

Contras: "Haven’t flown it yet"

Contras: "I had a 5 hour delay. I had to cancel the trip"

Prós: "The crew was friendly"
Contras: "There was a delay in getting us boarded. My main complaint is the length in the baggage reclaim. It should not have taken as long as it did. I gave low rating for entertainment because there wasn’t any, again it was a short flight. I did not have any of the onboard food."

Contras: "They downgraded the flight and kicked 30 people off-including me. I am now sitting in London waiting for a flight to Rome. This is unacceptable."

Prós: "Service was excellent. The flight was on schedule."
Contras: "I would have liked an exit seat but none were available when I attempted to purchase one."

Nobody could hear what was being announced. Entertainment audio was very poor - which on a long flight can make a big difference. Even tried my own earbuds and it did not help."

Contras: "The check-in in Duesseldorf was subcontracted and staffed by an uninformed agent which led to a lot of confusion and inconvenience in Dublin. Someone like that does not reflect well on Aer Lingus which I definitely recommend otherwise!"

Prós: "Luggage was couriered and arrived 9 hours later."
Contras: "That our luggage wasn't on the flight and we only realised after waiting/looking for over half an hour. Then had to do the missing report, all after a long flight. Couldn't someone in Dublin have rung and warned us?"

Prós: "Comfort. Missed connection and reassigned to next flight easily. Short delay."
Contras: "Luggage was delayed and delivered 24+ hours later to our hotel."

Prós: "We waited about a half hour for the fuel crew to come and fill up the plane, but the staff and the captain were very nice and informed us of all updates and progress being made. I didn't even mind the extra wait! We still were able to make our next transfer and got to the airport in great time!"

Prós: "Journey was good"
Contras: "Air lingus checked on my bag under someone else's name, now I am stuck in San Diego with no luggage and no answer as to where my bag is, very disappointed"

Prós: "check in process was easy"
Contras: "Our 2 carry-on bags were moved to checked in just before we got in. We were told that it was because it was a full flight. So what do I see in the overhead bins? 2 carry ons with "crew" tags. What bulls**t. This was a very good airline 20 years ago. Not anymore"

Contras: "The extremely rude ticket agent at the Venice airport that threw my boarding pass at me, even though I was following her explicit instructions. 50 characters isn't enough to explain what happened"

Contras: "My movie monitor was not working and it was a 10 hour flight. Luckily, I switched seats with my son who was not interested in their entertainment."

Contras: "We arrived in Toronto from Dublin to get our connecting flight with two very tired children and were told by Air Canada that our connecting flight was never booked by Aer Lingus. We were told that the flight we were supposed to be on was full and there was no flights until the next morning. To top it off Air Canada could not locate our baggage and we were told to wait around and check back every half hour. If was past two in the morning Dublin time and our kids were exhausted and fell esleep in the airport. We could not wait around any longer with exhausted children so we booked a hotel and took our kids there without our luggage. Our kids were crying because our baggage was lost and thus was a shitty way to end our vacation and my birthday! Would not recommend flying with Aer Lingus or Air Canada. Horrible service."

Prós: "Food was surprisingly good, crew were nice. Seats are way to tight...rididulous, like a cattle car."
Contras: "I was travelling with an injured ankle, had paid for a one way trip last minute because of a BA screw up on my RT ticket, and asked that I be given two seats if possible so I could put my foot up. I was moved to an aisle rather than center, but no empty seat, event though there was one in front, behind my row, and several rows back. Could have easily accommodated my request. My original ticket was MIA/LON/DUB...travelling for funeral, and changed leg from LON/DUB to LON/SNN to travel with my sister...paid extra for the ticket, told them I would not be using my LON/DUB leg. Was told no problem. When I went to re-confirm adn do nline check in on the 24th, my ticket had been marked trip completed...there was not return leg DUB/BARCELONA/MIA...just vanished. Paid 900Euros. Seems there should be a refund coming my way for the unused portion of my ticket. I would like to be contacted by customer service. 954.662.9537"

Prós: "The flight crew was wonderful"
Contras: "inability to get seats ahead of time - sat in rear of aircraft - cramped. I would have liked ability to pay for upgrading seats for more room. In-seat entertainment was glitchy much of the flight."

Prós: "The price british"
Contras: "British airways booked us on aer lingus from Dublin to LAX. Worst international flight I've ever been on. The flight attendants were rude. There was trash laying all over the floor, only once did the flight crew pick up litter from customers on the 10 hour flight. My husbands entertainment unit would not work, after we paid $90 each for an 'upgrade'. Also, somehow British Airways didn't communicate I was Gluten free so I had no meals or snacks for the flight. I would not recommend using Aer Lingus even if BA books this leg as part of an overall travel."

Contras: "the wifi did not properly work. Not every seat had an entertainment system that work properly"

Contras: "Flight delayed due to refueling?? Sorry why was this not done prior to boarding? Sat for almost an hour on the plane before take off - terrible."

Prós: "Crew Comfort a bit better as I was in exit seat alone"
