Contras: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worse flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

Prós: "I have never been in a flight where a handful of small children were able to make so much noise. There was one 4 year old that talked so loud for ten hours that not even my headphones could drown him out. Not once did any of the parents tell these kids to use their inside voice"

Contras: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Dubai has poor air quality, which might be bothersome for a long layover."

May have been ok if I hadn't just run from a late arriving connection to make this leg of my flight and I was so thirsty!! Naturally they were out of what would have liked for my meal. However the worst part is that Mt luggage didn't make it to Heathrow with my flight and the service in trying to get my bags back has been shocking. Considering I was told my bags would be arriving in London 2 hours later I still do not have my bage in my possession- a day and a half later. And trying to get to talk to someone to help. This has been so frustrating and disappointing."

Champagne never arrived, even after I asked for it again. My half-full glass of water was taken away halfway through dinner with no explanation and never replaced. I asked for water five times before I was finally brought a bottle of water over 30 minutes later when they were being passed around to everyone. Meanwhile, the two flight attendants I asked for water walked by several times picking up trash... not sure what was so difficult about bringing me a glass of water."

Contras: "While the flight attendants and crew inside the airplane were all friendly and nice , I can't say that for the employees inside the airport!!! They are the WORST employees I've ever seen! Multiple times, when I was trying to ask for help, they barely made eye contact or rudely ignored me! I was shocked! Never have I ever seen airport employees act so rude! One girl even was half asleep when I went up to her to ask for directions. She just pointed to the direction and didn't even look at me or say anything ! Never again will I fly with Turkish airlines."

Seat are comfortable, although somewhat old-fashioned. In general, I think that this is an excellent airline, my choice for the future."

Prós: "My wife and I try to travel internationally 2 or 3 times a week to various parts of the world. International airlines tend to be better than the US-based ones, and Turkish Airlines was no exception. We flew from SFO -> IST in March 2016 and they were really milking the fact that they're in the new Batman vs Superman movie with ads on the in-flight magazines, a fancy bat-shaped trifold menu, on-board amenity bag, and even showed trailer after the safety video. At Istanbul, we saw another plane that was completely wrapped with the Batman vs Superman logo. Haha The service was very good, food was good (they even had the chefs greet people as they got on and off the plane), and they had a great selection of movies/entertainment. Despite all the hours I have flown, I'm not good with sleeping in economy seats and while the seats are good, I still can't sleep in these. I'm about 5'-10", average build, and didn't have a problem with legroom or seat width. I like that they also give out this little amenity bag with fluffy slippers, earplugs, lip balm, and I forget what else. It's embroidered with a Batman vs Superman logo on it. Not bad! Earbuds are also free, but I don't know the quality because I used my own. After taking off, they'll serve a meal, pass out drinks (fresh lemonade is only available when originating from Turkey), and then dim the lights and leave you alone. A couple hours before landing, they'll pass out drinks and and another meal. I didn't try, but you can request a cheese sandwich and drinks any time. The only difference with this airline is that everywhere else, the flight attendants will ask people to right up their seats during meals. They don't here and you have to ask the person in front to please sit up so their seat isn't all in your face. Turkey actually has a city called Batman (near the Syrian border), and some ruins called Metropolis (near Izmir). No, Turkish Airlines doesn't actually fly there so their ad copy is a little wrong. We didn't get a chance to visit either of these places, but it would've been cool to check them out."
Contras: "Not anything to do with Turkish Airlines, but being based in Istanbul, the International airport (Ataturk) is still under construction. I don't know which flights used the jetway, but all the flights we took from there (international and domestic) required boarding a bus between the plane and the gate."

Contras: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Contras: "The flight was delayed about 80 minutes and they did not informed until when I got to the Airport. I could have stayed more at home instead of the terminal. They have also changed the boarding gate.."

My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed"

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Prós: "Flight crew; legroom even in cheap seats."
Contras: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"

Contras: "Boarding was delayed a little due to weather as was takeoff. Cant blame them for weather but the connection was very tight."

Prós: "Boarding was a breeze and the staff were lovely. Online check was very simple and easy to navigate."
Contras: "The amount of extras you have to click no to while checking in online."

Prós: "on time, and with snow"

Prós: "Nice seats, comfortable."
Contras: "Again, no aisle seat for SkyTeam Gold member. Also, my baggage was lost. First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here."

Prós: "Excellent experience with the cabin crew."
Contras: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Prós: "had problems checking in , in that I was charged for a suitcase! I have since checked my paper work and found thad that I had paid for a case! I will follow this up when I return to the UK"

Prós: "Professional, welcoming and very friendly crew, well-maintained aircraft, comfortable seat and good food. Keep up the good work, KLM."
Contras: "Not much to comment on here."

Prós: "staff was fine"
Contras: "old old plane, very uncomfortable. Tiny bad screen made movies pointless"

Contras: "KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Also, really tired of the fake business class on these flights..."

Prós: "I really like the spaciousness, the plug ins and general service"
Contras: "I have a dairy allergy but had no option to prepurchase a dairy free meal. It made for a very unenjoyable flight as I couldn't eat anything they had. What was worse was after I told them of my situation they said they understood and had a meal that would do but there was cheese, yogurt, milk chocolate, etc."

Prós: "It was so easy to board and I had no inconvenience. It took 4 minutes from when I said goodbye to my family till when I was at the front of the gate."
Contras: "Nothing! It was all great!"

Contras: "Chek in ....separado de minha mulher e ninguem resolveu o problema"

Contras: "Meter minha esposa longe de mim...em outro lugar...chek in muito mau...depois de pedir a tripulação para juntar os dois ninguem quiz saber e nao ajudaram..vergonha"

Prós: "The staff was fast and curteous."
Contras: "There is not anything to complain about besides the usual discomfort of travel."
