Prós: "Aircraft clean, staff friendly and efficient"
Contras: "Lighting in aircraft is too bright Food offers by swiss in economy is terrible. My company di a not support business class travel"

Contras: "They checked at the gate all our hand luggages to make sure we didnt exceed the 8 kilo mark. This is very cheap and only suitable for the low cost airlines. I expect swiss air as a higher class flight to turn a blind eye on this matter"

Prós: "The entertainment consoles are great, plane is modern and clean, staff on board are very considerate and helpful. Flight left and landed on time and our luggage arrived intact. Everything that we paid for we got."
Contras: "The space between the seats is very small, and the seats recline very far, I found myself a bit too tall to fit in them comfortably, as even reclined my neighbors seat was nearly pressed against my nose. My much shorter girlfriend did not have this problem, and slept through the whole flight. SWISS only has one or two check in agents at LAX, and the wait was about 3hr to process the 300-odd passengers on our 777. I know they're only running a flight or two a day from LA, but I am sure there's a speedier and more efficient way to check us all in."

Contras: "There's a long way before entertainment reaches what can be often found in Asia. I'm not sure why they still bother with the same old animated cartoons. At least, providing power in the seats would be nice, at best, streaming content via Wifi."

Prós: "Crew ignored my existence just because I sat on the window seat, plus I'm an asian, so I'm not sure which of the reason makes her to ignore me for serving my food. Luckily the guy passenger that sit beside me helped me to inform and made sure that she served the food to me."

Não houve o cuidado de deixar sair os passageiros com conexão primeiro. Nem havia staff do aeroporto para ajudar os passageiros a chegar ao outro terminal. Fiquei num hotel 2*. Pelo que ouvia da swiss nunca pensei que fosse ter uma experiência tão desagradável"

Contras: "Voo com atraso de 40 minutos. Não deixaram os passageiros com conceção sair primeiro. Não havia ninguém para nos acompanhar. Ninguem sabia dar informações viemos para o hotel sem bagagem porque ninguém sabia quando chegava."

In particular, Qantas is much much closer to business class than to economy class in it's premium economy product. Lufthansa is just not delivering value to this segment."

Contras: "So you book in advance, used the tarif that allows you to book your seats (row 9), check in and.... When you board you get new tickets with seat row 36 and family not together. Lufthansa has done this twice to us. My kids 8,10, 12 year old girls are well behaved and used to flying, so don't disturb anyone."

Contras: "The entertainment system had a horrible interface with touch screen that didn't work well, and had to move seat because audio jack was faulty"

I find the seat average in comfort for premium economy. If only the seat would move forward, I keep sliding off it. Cathay Pacific has a much better seat."

Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. Prós: "Staff superb. They even surprised us with an exit row and a gift for my partners birthday! Amazing. Samantha and Dennis also took time to come and personally wish him a happy birthday. A lovely touch. This airline runs like clockwork. They are just great. The sandwich and stoop waffle are nice too."
Contras: "There is a bus to the plane, so that takes a bit of extra time but they are very well organized."

Prós: "Very efficient boarding, fast and professional but warm and friendly. The plane was very clean and quite spacious for a two by two configuration. On time departure and landing and smoothed processing at the other end."

Prós: "Food was of a fairly high standard and so too was the entertainment. At least the Captain was honest in that he admitted KLM's baggage loading process was a mess and caused the delay."
Contras: "A baggage loading problem meant that all baggage needed to be offloaded and then re-loaded......this took 2 hours and then another 20 minute delay due to congestion with air traffic over France! Where were the cabin crew during the delay? They may have not been onboard given their lack of visibility during the delay. The only time they appeared was to distribute a cutlet of water and a packet of dry biscuits. Inflight, apart from the meal service routines, on this 13+ hour flight the crew were notable for not being visible."

Contras: "Although Air France sold me a return ticket from Zurich to Edinburgh via Paris CDG both connections in CDG were very tight and needed me to run between terminals. They say you can make it within the 50 min change over but it is really pushing it. One and a half hours would be better. My incoming flight was delayed by 15 mins and the plane parked off stand and we were bused to the terminal. That all left just 20 mins to get from the bus to the departure gate having to clear passport control and security. Ran to the gate with seconds to spare."

Prós: "Checkin was excellent - really pleasant and accomodating with our baggage."
Contras: "Food, cabin comfort and service all very mediocre. Worst of all was that they managed not to load one of our suitcases, despite us having to pay for each individual checked bag. We arrived in Australia one bag short. Unacceptable."

Prós: "Good selection of films and TV series, both old and recent. Fairly fuss free - earphones and blanket ready in seat."

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Contras: "Booked assistance and got dumped at the gate 3hrs before departure, no English spoken and didn't even ask if my mum needed the bathroom or if we wanted to do some shopping. Just in a rush to get rid of us. Flying only KLM from now."

Contras: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Contras: "I needed water to take my medication and they only offered water for purchase. No other complimentary beverages were offered for the 2 hour 10 minute flight. I then tried to purchase water and the machine rejected 3 times. My card worked perfectly on all flights and during my entire trip in Portugal. After assuring me if was probably their machine not my card, I was still not offered water."

Prós: "The journey Bengaluru to London Heathrow was very comfortable with sufficient leg room. However the journey London Heathrow to San Diego was not comfortable. This is because the seats are so designed that the Seat mounts come in the way of stretching your legs. It is improperly designed which can be checked out with any expert in ergonomics."

Contras: "Delayed boarding, delayed takeoff, delayed landing. Everything was done so slowly that we nearly misssed our connection."

Prós: "787 is new. boarding was mostly efficient, although i was prevented from boarding even though there was nobody in queue due to some rules. food was good. entertainment was pretty complete. crew did well, but their command of english was not as good as one might expect."
Contras: "787 had issues with the window tinting. although it was a day flight, it felt like a night flight, with the expected effects on jet lag and fatigue. also, in premium economy, my seat was in the very last row, next to the toilet with no window, even though it is a window seat. to call a seat the 'window' seat, and then have no window is deceptive."

Contras: "We missed this flight due to Kayak's failure to get us on any other flights to Chicago after our original one was cancelled."

Prós: "It was short"
Contras: "Lost luggage - no one cared despite it clearly being lost at check in going down a broken bag shute. Plane was late. BA is losing their upmarket appeal trying to compete with cheaper airlines."

Contras: "Takes too long to go through security in Lisbon. Several passengers were left behind. Having to pay for even a glass of water is not acceptable. BA has gone from one of my favorites to just average."

Prós: "I was able to check in on an earlier flight which helped me to arrive an hour earlier."
Contras: "British Airways do not have access to a gate so always have to take a bus to airplane."

Prós: "On time, boarding ok, WTP seats good. Reasonable entertainment selections."
Contras: "Lounge: silver card holder so went to South lounge in main building. Usual slop with rice, ghastly. Adequate wine/spirits/beer/coffee etc selection but very irritating you have to ask each time for champagne. Food on board: steak for dinner (from CW menu) over cooked/ruined, as ever. Other airlines can do this fine, unclear why BA chooses not to. Very pleased I didn't pay for CW and got served this. Breakfast is from economy, so plastic utensiles, no table cloth etc. I hate this inconsistent service. Entertainment system clunky and appears dated. Under seat entertainment boxes restrict legroom in most seats (in WTP)."

Contras: "No food, not even snacks or soft drinks offered unless you paid."

Contras: "On both flights there was limited or no options on sandwiches left and the yogurt in your brochure was available on neither of the flights."

Prós: "LOVED having a bit of space to stand and stretch without being in crews way! Bathrooms kept clean. Crew very helpful attentive and cheerful"

Contras: "The airport crew were not too friendly, and boarding was stressful"

Prós: "BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."

Contras: "Delayed 19 hrs due to crew illness. We were given a hotel room but the promised meal vouchers did not come through and BA would not answer the phone calls of the hotel staff to verify meal money. Missed a whole day of our vacation as we could not reschedule our connection until 24 hrs late. After the long wait the first day to be told what was going on, with much anxiety, on the second day there was also a delay boarding. Although it was short, of course everyone was on edge. And BA did not tell us what was happening!!"

Prós: "Easy and quick boarding. Dinner tasty, but it is hard to cut a fillet steak without hitting the next passenger in the elbow"
Contras: "Only one check-in agent running all desks including bag drop - long wait. 19 year-old 747 had narrow seats in premium economy, uncomfortable and too much body contact with adjacent passengers. Outbound to SFO in an Airbus 380 had sparkling wine pre-take off, hot towels twice, this DEN-LHR flight only had juice or water on offer (crew said "don't serve that on this route") no hot towels, crew's objective seemed to be get around cabin in one go and leave Pax to it Breakfast was abysmal, soft-pretzel roll, no juice or water served, just indifferent coffee"

Contras: "The plane was too small/old. It was packed to the gills."

Prós: "older plane, so seats were like southwest's leather seats"
Contras: "Crew was very ignorant, only paid attention to those flashing their credit cards for purchases. didn't even offer water, so had to contact the customer service rep onboard who gave us water rather than the air hostess"

Contras: "They have completely eliminated complimentary beverage service. Not even a glass of water!"
