Contras: "I sat next to 2 children. It smelled like baby poo off and on for the whole flight. There are no individual AC so the entire plane was on one temp which was stuffy and smelly at times. If some one passed gas, you could for sure smell it. I told the flight attendant and they agreed before I could describe so it wasn’t just me."

Contras: "Long lines ( about 40 min) to get into transfer zone at the airport. I guess this is not aircompanu fault, but airport."

Prós: "Good food for economy and crew was really nice . Great movie selection , nice amenity kit for economy."
Contras: "They weigh your carry on making you shift things . 31 inch pitch is tight for a long flight. Didn’t give 5 stars to the entertainment because although excellent selection , the touch screen is very slow to react making it frustrating."

Was an elite airlines, with the flight attendants dress perfect.. it made me feel like I was flying first class...with this being my first time using Turkish airlines I actually will use them over the American Airlines; just because the way I was treated and how quickly someone was willing to assist anyone.... I say you are the best!"

Prós: "The comfort of the seats, entertainment, & food were great as always. The only Turkish Airlines flight I had during this trip that was not delayed, however needed to be due to the previous flight. The crew did hold the flight for all of us from the delayed flight from Athens."
Contras: "An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs."

Truly annoying! Also - for some reason service was done by only one person per aisle which meant I had to wait really long time before getting both food and drinks."

Seats were so small and extremely uncomfortable. We had to wait for about 30' before we took off WITHOUT air conditioning!! That was miserable!!!! Last, I found HAIR in my food!!! Although, the flight we took from Atlanta to Instanbul was one of the best flights I've ever have taken. Mixed emotions.."

There are snacks like muffin available "anytime" On our long flight from Atlanta to Paris I pressed the button 3 times to see if I could get a muffin, but the attendant alert was turned off remotely and no one came to check on me. Thank God it wasn't some sort of emergency."

The price was also very reasonable, unlike United or some other major carriers. It says something about your airline when I decide to fly through Istanbul, coming from Rome, to go back to the US. It's a longer flight but it's a worthwhile one. Thank you and keep up the good work."

I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Prós: ".My flight left on time ,smooth landing and the cabin temperature seemed more normal than the usual cold interior. Cabin crew were friendly and helpful from JFK to Helsinki and Helsinki back to JFK . Overall a good airline but far from premium."

Because flight was delayed and I had to fly to Talin and then to RigaI I arrived at 10pm plus took me another 30min to figure out what happened with my luggage. I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("

The attendants were gaga about a screaming baby but ignored the rest of us"

Prós: "The Iberia plane had a new interior, and possibly was a new plane. The new thinner padding on plane seats was not a problem at all. The crew was friendly and let me switch to a different seat that had an empty one beside it so I could stretch out more. A great flight."

Contras: "Because the flight was through british airways, extra baggage was $90 much more expensive than Finnair's prices. After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Contras: "I booked this through Finnair and it was a British Airways code share .I was unable to get the record locator for BA and could not check in prior to getting to the airport ."

Contras: "I couldn't check in on time as the booking numbers were different on the actual company that was flying me. I was trying to do this on my phone and I had to call in each time. couldn't do it on the computer."

Boarding: flight delayed for more than 1 hour, with passengers sitting all this time in the plane and waiting for all connection flights to arrive. As a result we arrived late for our connection flight. The Finnair people that met the passengers on exit form the plain did not provide any information how we should proceed next. We were left to figure it out by ourselves. Crew: The impression was that all the flight attendants from HiFly were untrained. The did not know what to do an how to do. They seemed lost on the plane. Comfort: Plane seemed to be re-purchased from some Arab airline. Food: bad Entertainment: v system was broken. Information system was showing wrong current time."

Prós: "British Airways operated this flight and it was a great experience. The seats were cramped, but almost to be expected for an economy service overseas."

Contras: "at least 10 people were waiting at the wrong gate when they finally announced the gate change. the gate was on the other side of the terminal and nothing was indicated on the information screens"

Contras: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Prós: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Contras: "I didn’t like that space between each seat is small"

Contras: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Prós: "Plus seat was good. On board crew was nice."
Contras: "Another Air France company, with their motto: We Don't Care. Ground staff was rude, no good food onboard and have to pay for it. Entertainment is your device, but you can't download the app to use it."

Contras: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Contras: "the delay of the flight, the drinks we had to pay in the lounge, some poeple got a 25$ compensation coupon and we didn’t. The connecting time was about 1 hour and the luggage was not put on the plane to beirut"

Contras: "Very cramped. Poor leg room also with.metal bars under seats that further. Limited foot room. Terrible options in movies. The seats in front of us reclined so far that I couldn’t do anything but stare at the back of the seat anyway."

Prós: "Personal treatment I have received as I was with a 7 months baby. An agent helps me to carry my hand luggages up to the plane entrance and to pass in priority"

Prós: "Not much."
Contras: "It was one problem after another during check in. And it was difficult to find help in English so I couldn't really tell what was going on. In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. It was not efficient and I felt like a burden asking for help when there was nothing else I could do on my own."

Prós: "Being able to have my meal at the airport before my flight so that I could sleep in comfort."

Prós: "Friendly crew and exit row had nice legroom."
Contras: "Ran out of the (already not sufficient) salty crackers and, as the flight had been delayed, we had a one packet of cracker 'lunch' at noon... the flight really should have had a sandwich or at least something slightly more substantial."

Prós: "The fact that the plane made it to SFO"
Contras: "Downgrade without notice or consent separating family. Paid full fare for family to travel business class together. AF without our knowledge downgraded one member, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. They offered no compensation, no apology, and CDG ground crew was terribly rude. All anyone said was, nothing to be done, now please Leave"

Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."

Prós: "On our longer flight, we were thrilled- nice crew, delicious food, spacious, great pilot, and enjoyable entertainment experience. However, on our shorter flight from Brussels to telaviv, not only was the crew completely inattentive, but they were intentive to some very disturbing things including children who were pulling the hair of other customers and jumping up-and-down in the aisles of the airplane. There was no available entertainment whatsoever. In addition the food was extremely expensive and not particularly tasty. The plane was uncomfortable and smelled atrocious. These 2 vastly different experiences almost made me feel like I was taking 2 different airlines. Please keep consistency."
Contras: "I didn't like the inconsistency of the 2 different planes that I was on. If you are going to have entertainment you should have some form of it on all of your airplanes. The idea that food that you need to buy is so expensive is absurd. I was really blown away by how badly the plane smelled. It was almost as if I was in a bathroom. And on top of that I really felt very unsafe with children jumping up-and-down kicking people pulling their hair etc. While it isn't the job of the flight attendants to be parents, they certainly need to be aware of safety concerns for the rest of the passengers."

Flight took 2.5 hours and the Fog cleared long before we landed so there was no need to wait 1 hour in the airplane where we had NO leg space at all. As compensation they could at leased given us coffee for free and not have to buy for a bloody expensive high price."

Prós: "The seats had more leg room that similar sized planes on other airlines."
Contras: "It is ridiculous that an airline does not include soft drinks and water free while on the plane. The flight was also delayed with no clarifying information from airline employees. The information board said boarding for 20 minutes before they unlocked the doors and started boarding."

Contras: "Food was bad. Seats not very comfortable. Food was awful. Very few movies in English."

Prós: "I'm not certain this will get to where it needs to go, but I want to give a special thanks to my flight attendant on Brussels Airlines flight SN2712. I don't know what her name was but she was the younger of the two flight attendants and she provided the drinks in the main cabin. My girlfriend experienced sudden and traumatic pain due to the pressure change on the descent and so I hit the call button and when the flight attendant came over and saw what was going on she knew exactly what to do: she ran to the back of the plane to gather some cups and fill them with hot water-soaked napkins then sprinted back to give them to my girlfriend to show her how to hold them. She was so fast, so kind, and so effective. I wish I knew her name so I could tell her thank you one last time. Please pass this along to her if possible!"

Prós: "Flight from US was wonderful. Plane had everything you would want. Food was good and seats comfortable."
Contras: "Flight from Brussels to Kinshasa was different. It seems for the people of color, there was an old plane. My seat mate TV sCreek did not work. You could tell moldings on seat were very old. one bathroom had no soap, dispenser was broken. I hope this is not your pratice to use your older planes for those traveling to Africa. I will observe this as I travel back to Brussel and on to US."

Contras: "Staff did not allow access to lavatories when they were serving drinks and the long waits after were ridiculous"

Contras: "I bought my flight 2 months before, and at the gate I was told I'm on stand by, after the check in agent already took my bag, and without any explanation. No one could tell me WHY I was all of a suddent on standby. The answer I got was "I don't know, that's just how it is in the system". Completely unacceptable and against airline policy. I will be filing an official complaint with Brussels Airlines."

Prós: "Crew was great"
Contras: "Still don't know where my luggage was so this is an issue for me on all legs of flight"

Contras: "It would have been nice to have received complimentary water, coffee, or a bag of pretzels on this flight. We didn't receive anything or we had to pay for a bottle of water. First flight I have experienced like that."

Prós: "Nothing I could particularly remark on"
Contras: "Travelling out to Budapest our flight was delayed about 40 minutes. We had a connection in Brussels and had to run from B terminal to A to reach on time. We reached the flight, however bags did not make the connection. We received bags next day at hotel. Travelling home, the flight was delayed 1h30m, the gates were shifted 3 times for departure, we had to sprint this time for conmection again B to A terminals. On the flight we were told Edinburgh connection would be rebooked so go to desk, however we made the flight just and so did the luggage, if we had waitied as told to rebook our luggage would have landed in Edinburgh with us stuck in Brussels. Won't be using again."

Contras: "I didn´t like arriving to Sevilla with no luggage and no explanation of its whereabouts. I appreciate finally getting it 4 days later but I was not happy about me having to spend time and money going back to the airport to get it myself since your company was unable to deliver it to me. I expect full compensation"

Prós: "Crew was polite in spite of their frustrations and ours."
Contras: "Power outage at Brussels airport caused a delay (no ones fault), a drunk man was let on the plane, which led to us detouring from taxi to another gate to have police escort him off. This led to extra security checks of hand and checked baggage. They found an extra bag? Which led to extra, extra security checks. Worker fell off the luggage conveyor belt, plane was surrounded by medical staff and an ambulance. We finally took off, 3 hours late. I arrived at St. Petersburg, but my luggage did not. The next day I found out it had been sent to Frankfurt. An absolute disaster, many of the problems could have been prevented by more diligence from the airline."
