Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

It was easy to board and store out baggage. The plain seemed old and was not comfortable. There was a couple of unhappy staff who worked on the plane. They also didn’t have our stroller as we exited the plane. They said they didn’t have one. We stood for 1 hour and 1/2 at baggage for it to appear. We checked zero bags to avoid this process.
Plane was very delayed. US agents unhelpful in connection flt and in seating. No real info given on delay.

They walked through the cabin periodically to offer water in the 6 hours or so between meal services, and also had self-service drinks and snacks in the galley during that time. Flight attendants asked passengers to put their seats forward during meal times, which very few airlines do. It was the same level of service I have come to expect from the Asian carriers that I usually fly (ANA, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore). The meals were fine, and so was the entertainment. There was a decent choice of movies."
Contras: "The economy seats were narrow and cramped on the A340. I was in the first row of economy that wasn't premium economy. Even though the person in front of me had loads more legroom than me, he had his seat all the way back for almost the entire flight and hit me in the head while I was reaching for my bag under the seat in front of me. In order to get to anything in my bag, I had to put my head into the aisle because there wasn't enough room to bend down. Because of the angle of the seats, it was nearly impossible to get into and out of the row (and I was on the aisle)."
Contras: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."

Prós: "I last traveled on British Airways in May of last year (2015) and the food was beyond dreadful. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised that there has been a huge improvement. They were very generous with the drinks and the food was plentiful and quite a reasonable standard for airline food (they gave two full meals from San Francisco to London, whereas most airlines give one meal and one snack on that route). They actually checked us in on the earlier side, we took off very promptly and got to London early. It was nice to be on time for a change - so often I find airlines run a bit late. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pilot's messages were pleasant, friendly and even a bit informative."
Contras: "Web check-in ahead of time was a total disaster. I got an email telling me I could check in 36 hours early and "secure a good seat" but neither of the 2 sets of codes they provided in the email would work because it was all about Finnair but actually the flight was being run by British Airways. I spent about 30 minutes on the 'phone trying to get the appropriate sequence of numbers and letters to enter so as to check in and get a good seat - still nothing worked. This was at 5:45am - I regretted the time spent when I could have gone back to sleep. My daughter later spent a further 90 minutes trying to figure it out, only to be told finally that our only option was to get to the airport early and check n there which was what we did. It was beyond irksome. Please note, if the airline actually flying is different fro the booking airline, the locator number for check n will be DIFFERENT and needs to be provided to the customer to avoid a great deal of hassle and confusion. We gt particularly unlucky because BA computers had a glitch that day but the general point still stands."

I finally had no recourse but to buy another ticket through another airline. I feel that I should be reimbursed for my Finnair ticket from London to New York! I paid for a flight I never took. Contras: "The passengers next to me smelled severely of body odor. I know that this isn't something the flight crew can do anything about but it made my flight really uncomfortable. Thankfully the seat next to me opened. So I loved a seat away- but even that couldn't mask the smell!"

Avião sem nenhum tipo de entretenimento (pra uma viagem de 3h, achei ruim). Não ofereceram água, porém havia oferecimento de comidas e bebidas à venda onboard.
Bom espaço na aeronave e fácil embarque. Porém houve atraso no voo e demora na comunicação do número do gate (cheguei muito mais cedo do que o necessário no aeroporto). Zero entretenimento on the plane.
Tive duas bagagens extraviadas. A funcionária da TAP no balcão anterior ao embarque confirmou que minhas bagagens chegariam ao destino correto.

As bagagens foram extraviadas e a TAP a 72 hrs e ainda não foi resolvido
Voo proveniente de Guarulhos (TP 84) com 4:30 de atraso (agendado 00:40 do dia 06/09/22 e decolagem real as 05:10), sem comunicação precisa da companhia, seja por e-mail, aplicativo ou SMS. Durante o voo, 3 banheiros sem funcionar, mau atendimento pelos comissários de bordo. Conexão original (16:30 LIS) para o destino final (Barcelona) perdida por consequência. Nova conexão agendada para as 22:40, saindo de Lisboa no dia 06/09/22, cancelada durante o embarque. Saímos do aeroporto as 00:45 já do dia 07/09/22, pouco mais de 3 horas após a comunicação da suspensão do voo. Terceira tentativa de conexão (TP 1040), voo agendado as 7:45 de 07/09/22, atrasado, decolou as 08:25 de Lisboa rumo a Barcelona. Resultado final: 15:30 de atraso na chegada ao destino final em relação à compra (de 19:20 do dia 06/09, para 10:50 de 07/09), reserva de restaurante pré paga perdida, diária de hotel pré paga perdida, ingressos pré pagos para vista à Sagrada Família perdidos, além de custos extras não planejados com alimentação e deslocamentos. No voo de volta, saindo de Barcelona para Lisboa (TP 1047, 15:00 do dia 22/09/22), não queriam nos deixar embarcar com nossa bagagem de mão devido ao tamanho da mesma, sendo que viajamos a Europa inteira com a mesma mala, incluindo os voos anteriores da TAP, e nunca tivemos qualquer tipo de problema com ela. Ao final, após muita insistência, conseguimos embarcar com a respectiva mala. Além de todos esses problemas, visível sobrecarga de trabalho aos funcionários da TAP, acarretando péssimo atendimento e precárias informações aos passageiros, aparentemente não por culpa ou de forma deliberada dos mesmos, mas sim por falta de organização e déficit de pessoal da empresa. Experiência muito, mas MUITO, abaixo do tolerável. Pior experiência de viagem já vivida. Para finalizar, infelizmente, me sinto obrigado a contraindicar a utilização dos serviços da TAP, além de nunca mais voltar, pessoalmente, a voar com esta companhia aérea.
Não apanhei o voo devido a atraso no primeiro
Embarque atrasou 40 minutos. Poderiam ter avisado, estávamos na Louge da TAP e ficamos na fila desde o horário previsto ( 22: 45) até 23:25. Gostamos do conforto, menu e atendimento da equipe. Vamos voltar a usar a executiva da TAP.
Embarque poderia ser mais organizado. As pessoas poderiam ser orientadas desde o checkin a como proceder durante o embarque, para evitar aglomerações, e esperas de pé em fila.
considerei um absurdo que passageiros da classe executiva que pagam muito mais caro, serem tratados exatamente como os que compraram classe econômica, NÃO teve fila para classe executiva, nos colocaram no último assento do avião e mesmo pagando quase U$ 6 mil dólares o tratamento foi o mesmo de quem pagou U$ 400 dólares ... vou compartilhar com todas as minhas redes sociais ...
Funcionários prestativos, bons filmes pra ver, boa comida também. A decolagem atrasou um pouco por conta da chuva, o que não foi culpa da companhia.
Fiquei profundamente irritado por me enviarem a minha mala para o porão e depois no avião vi varias iguais e algumas ainda maiores.

Apparently, the airline requested 55 passengers to check their carry-on bags...but they just selected the first people who were closest to the gate. I purposely did not check a bag because I had limited time to make a train connection at my final destination, plus I had to go thru customs and I knew that in itself would be time consuming. I explained this to the airline staff, but they did not care. I think they should have first asked for volunteers; and if still needed, then randomly select people to check in the carry-on. Also they only were making people with the “suitcase” carry-on to check them in....anyone with a duffle-looking bag was not even bothered. Luckly, I’m mange to make my train connection, but I was running to do this...not fun at all."

The airline ran late and I almost missed this connecting flight to LGW. The airline didn't act very sympathetic to my situation. I wished that didn't happen as my experience I'm sure would've been much different.

Contras: "There are no queues. A free for all to load and unload the plane. If you are looking for Swiss order, look elsewhere. Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

Contras: "super small plane... had to climb a very narrow staircase into the plane... overhead bins couldn't accommodate much of anything... we weren't warned this in advance. one rude steward (Miks) July 21 Flt. BT444, 18:30-19:50... he just stood there watching me struggle up the outside staircase into the plane with my suitcase... scolded me for bringing suitcase on board, argued with me, etc. (I've traveled the world and this suitcase is always brought on board)... he was not service-oriented or helpful. thankfully, other staff did help... but he left a bad taste in my mouth for this airline."

It took forever to get bags in Riga. In the empty flight the way they were seating people was crazy. I'm lifetime gold with American Airlines so I do fair share flying and can tell you it's not a good Airline."
Contras: "The passage through Riga airport was terrifying. We arrived from St. Petersburg 6.35 and we left 7.20 to Paris (passengers in transit). We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"

Contras: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

Contras: "The seats are worn and creek with every movement. There is very limited leg room even for someone who is short. When the person in front of you leans back it is impossible to reach your hand baggage or do anything but lay back in your seat. The landing was safe but not at all comfortable."

They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

On board you pay for everything, even a glass of water. Tiny seats and the person behind me kept pushing on the back of my seat. Very uncomfortable! Will never fly airbaltic again."
Prós: "It's very inexpensive, especially if you fly with only with a carry-on luggage. On-board service has always been excellent."
Contras: "The check-in process is horrible, regardless of the airport you are flying from. It's just the trademark of Air Baltic. I learned my lesson and pay extra to use the priority check in line, as well as boarding. Otherwise you end up staying in a VERY long line. This time I was bumped from the seat that I picked when booking my flight, which was still assigned to me when I checked in online. No explanation or heads-up, I was just handed a paper boarding pass when I checked my bag, and only after I was past security line I realized that I was bumped from row 4 to row 10. I was able to get a seat in row 4 again at the gate, but not the same seat. Also, there was no priority boarding, even though I paid for it. Given this experience I will only fly this airline if I can get away with a carry on, thus avoiding the check in desk altogether."
Contras: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"

Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."
Contras: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."
Prós: "The flights were on time, and the Riga airport was efficient."
Contras: "The planes seemed very old and rickety. One was an old propeller plane that looked like it had a large patch. The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."
