The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Prós: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Why ask the age of children under 11 if they’ll be seated with strangers? Moreover, we were loaded onto the plane from both ends, irrespective of our seats, so there was mass confusion as two sets of passengers were crossing over each other, looking for seats. Using hand signals to communicate, as it was an international flight with passengers speaking several languages. The crew stood at the entrances to the plane, watching."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

Contras: "Not AirEuropa’s fault but they left before we arrived in Zurich because Delta flight 66 was so late that our 3-hour layover became the AirEuropa flight left before the Delta flight arrived and deplaned."

Contras: "Boarding started 50 minutes late without explanation and we sat on the plane at the gate for another 45 minutes without any explanation as to what the delay was for."

Contras: "My checked luggage for which i paid an extra $100 has been damaged to a point where 2 out of the 4 weels are about to fall. I don't know in which of the two flights it happened since my luggage was transfered during the layover."

Contras: "The flight was 20 minutes late boarding us, and the plane took off over an hour later than expected. The boarding gate was so close to the other two next to it, that were also boarding at the same time, it was impossible to hear what was being said and know what was going on. the crew also lost my luggage on the flight from Madrid to Valencia and I have still not received it"
Prós: "I got to my destination safely."
Contras: "My plane took off 45 minutes late and no one told the passengers (in English at least) why we were leaving so late (and I still don't know). After about 20 minutes of waiting for takeoff, I pressed the button to ask a flight attendant why we were leaving so late but no one would come up to me, so I had to flag a flight attendant down when she walked by and she only stayed long enough for me to ask her when we were leaving. I also wanted to buy a snack on the plane and the same flight attendant who had answered my question before snapped at me about using a credit card when I accidentally gave her my debit card. Normally, I'm not one to complain about these types of things and this situation definitely could have been much worse, but I think it's important that any delays are communicated to passengers."

Contras: "Air Europa check in was at area 2, furthest corner of Zurich airport; no sign of which section of check in area 2 (1 through 5) the airline check in seciton is. You have to walk the entire area (seems like a whole separate terminal) to find the counters which were combined with 6 other airlines. Took only 20 minutes. Then to the opposite corner of the airport to board the plane to Madrid. WOW!"
Prós: "Comfort and quiet aircraft"
Contras: "Food and that only allow one bag for long haul flight while most of the airlines allow 2 pieces for economy travelers."

Prós: "Very little to like about the trip. As a very experienced traveller the trip to MAD was not pleasing. It appeared that crew attitudes reflect unacceptable monitoring and control by Air Auropa management of crew performance and equipment maintenance..The unworkable entertainment system failed ti entertain. No major delay. Able to meet connections."
Contras: "MVD to MAD leg. At meal times crew did not request passenger to sit their seats upright. Crew sleeping in the 2 seats in front of us had seats back total time of trip. It was very difficult to eat meats with the seat back in front of us. Hit in the face by crew member forcing seat back rapidly on change of crew rest period. Curtains of crew rest area encroached into my seat area. It was annoying, colostrophobic and unacceptable . One male member of the crew, when serving drinks at meal time mumbled Ïdiotö¨. I assumed he was referring to me. At breakfast time we were ignored when drinks were served. The entertainment system was unusable. It was apparent that the system was mal functioning and needs replacing. . I spoke to the head attendant and relayed our concerns. I was refused a visit from the captain in order to express pour concerns."
Prós: "I was in business class on 787 and everything was fine."
Contras: "The time allotted at the MAD airport for connection was tight ... a LONG way to walk with a carry on bag and through lines of people. Need to make flyers over 65 aware of that ...."
Contras: "We had 1h30minuts of delay. Too much for a 40 minut flight..."
Prós: "Just boring, nothing stands out. Just plain get on & get off."

Contras: "I got "upgraded" to first class. Where the spacing between seats was smaller than USA economy seating. After jamming my knees in I was told being upgraded didn't entitle me to free food or drinks. Yup wanted to charge for a bag of peanuts. Adding insult to injury takes about an hour to get your bag when you finally get off."
Prós: "The airplane was amazing brand new!"
Contras: "The crew was ok, I wanted to give her a glass of water I didn't want to drink and she refused and told me I had to wait because she was busy... Then she never came back, so I had to drink it anyways to avoid it from splashing my neighbor. Another crew member was kind enough to bring me chamomille because I wasn't feeling ok so some crew members were really nice others really dissapointing"
Prós: "I have never been on a flight to Las Palmas where the crew was so un attentive. It was really a shocker to me. I have had the luck of flying and usually getting very professional and courteous flight attendants and crew members. On this date I hardly saw them, they didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. I am wondering if the reason for this was because I sat way in the back of the plane. It was my first time selecting a,seat near the end of plane. However, that is no excuse. I had waited a long time to board this flight and I attempted to order some food but after 3 attempts and being ignored by the 2 female crew members in my isle I just fell asleep. It was a negative experience because as,a paying customer I always expect good service to say the least."
Contras: "The lack of attention, acknowledgement, food service."
Contras: "The seating space was horrible. I have used this airline before and everything was good, but this experience was not comfortable. I could barely move in my seat. The rest was good but can work on the space issue."
Prós: "Plane was new and everything worked. TVs were nice and the automatic adjustable window tint was a nice touch. Food was pretty good and movie selection was also nice."
Contras: "Cannot control the temperature as they have no adjustable air vents above you - so it got pretty hot during one portion of our flight. Also our flight took off over an hour late and the communication as to what was happening was not the best."
Prós: "Very low cost, mainly compared to Amsterdam flights. Since my flight was part of longer flight, I had pre-booked seat."
Contras: "Practically no service - self checkin only, no food and boarding per rows seems to be forever"
