Se puder dispor de alguma grana, pague pelas poltronas em duplas, se estiver acompanhado é o melhor, para evitar o estresse de levantar para um banheiro no meio da madrugada
Prós: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Contras: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."
Contras: "I was almost forced to stow my luggage in the hold despite me telling the check-in people tjat I had my meds and cpap in the carryon. I spoke to multiple people. Not sensitive."

Contras: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Contras: "The food was awful and the option I wanted had run out. The entertainment was faulty and had to be reset several times. The comfort was below standard and needs to be improved."
Contras: "Air France delayed our JFK to CDG flight. That caused us to miss our connection flight afterwards from CDG to MUC. We got a later flight luckily but one of our bags got lost and is still currently lost!!!"

Contras: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Prós: "The flight had a delayed of 2 hours due a system issue, but the flight was comfortable, and the airplane was clean."
Contras: "I didn't like the check in, the personnel there were not so friendly and had discrepancies. We were a group of 6, and 2 of us were able to drop the bag in the check in. But the others were told that needed to wait 30 mins."

This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

Luggage got lost, need more staff not sure why we checked in over 1.5 hours before flight boarding .
The check in process was a nightmare. We could not check it online the day before, therefore everyone that was on the flight from Lisbon to Heathrow had to do the check-in at the airport with an agent. They only had two agents available for that many people. The plane was delayed taking off due to that problem. They handed out small bottles of water on the plane for everyone. And one snack snack for everyone. They had no options for snack.

Contras: "I got assigned seats but when we got our boarding passes we were seated several rows apart, not in the seats I got when tickets were purchased months earlier. So we got reassigned to near back of plane, not at window seats, near several families with small loud children!! Not pleasant!"

Contras: "Erratic flight info- first it was on time, then 45 minutes late, then 5 minutes late. Plane had crumbs and peanuts all over the floor when we boarded. Flight was very turbulent."
Prós: "It was changed from British Air to American Air, which would have been my last choice to fly with. Bad choice!!!!!"
Contras: "No American Airlines! I have trouble with them every time I have used them. Usually their plane breaks down or requires maintenance, which happened again this trip. It made use have to run from customs to the other end of the airport in 10 minutes to make the connection ."

Contras: "Boarding was delayed due to the plane not being ready. Baggage handling absolutely destroyed my wife’s new luggage. Her suitcase came with a cover to help keep it clean. The cover was ripped in several locations and the whole side of her suitcase was blown out. We will have to purchase new luggage."

I ended up making the connection with time to spare. If AA had reported the delayed departure I would have stopped for food. My bag did not make the connection."

Prós: "My flight was amazing---amazing in the fact that I had to be on top of flight status and was rudely spoken to by the sellers of the ticket. They almost cancelled my entire trip, even though I paid for it, because while at work I could not pick up the phone when they called me. This site is seriously a scam to buy your ticket from. I survived and was able to go---but I would never encourage anyone to buy through this site, unless you just really love living a nightmare. If you love nightmares, why not. Go ahead."

Prós: "Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight."
Contras: "There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering."
Contras: "A menina que sentou ao meu lado estava com cigarro eletrônico e deu umas tragadas durante o vôo. Tinha apenas um comissário de bordo que não viu a fumaça que ela fazia. :("
Prós: "We were very well looked after by a group of male flight attendants. The plane was clean, calm, quiet and we had all we needed."
Contras: "Houve, segundo informações, problema mecânico da aeronave que motivou a permanência de todos dentro da aeronave do horário do embarque (antes das 20 até próximo a meia noite. No dia seguinte o mesmo vôo previsto para 15:30 acabou saindo na madrugada do outro dia."
Contras: "I purchased a WiFi pass and the WiFi did not work. Since the airplane does not have individual TV’s on each seat, it makes it for a very long flight. I also did not like that the passengers had to take a bus to the airplane and we’re shoved like sardines in a can in 95 degree weather."
Prós: "Made it closer to home. Bulkhead seats space useful when traveling with infant."
Contras: "Flight Delays. Riding a bus to the plane is outdated. Older 767 airplane. Crew did not seem friendly."
Prós: "Upon learning that our flight was delayed, the flight attendants brought out snacks and water right away."
Contras: "They started a movie, then restarted the same one an hour into it. After it ended, they played a second movie and cut it off half way to show other programming. Who would bother with a movie knowing only a part of it is being shown? That is disrespectful of our time. Boarding was a mess- everyone at once, most bags put below with luggage even though most overhead compartments were empty."

Contras: "O atendimento no aeroporto nos USA foi terrivel, com atendentes mal-humoradas e sem nenhuma vontade em ajudar. Houve atraso na decolagem do aviao de quase 1hora. O voo nao estava lotado, no entanto, apesar do conhecimento, me deixaram embarcar em uma poltrona recem-vomitada. Apesar da limpeza o cinto de seguranca apresentava o cheiro caracteristico. Ainda assim, viajei nessa poltrona usando o cobertor da companhia para abafar o cheiro. As refeicoes oferecidas eram horriveis as duas."
Contras: "the tremendous pressure from the staff, at the American Airlines. Never before experience such a low and virtually feel like an inmate, Just because the person in doing so, was profiling and that is NO GOOD , also the airport is filthy and dirty , Nobody Cares...I will not come again as a tourist to that country.. American Airlines should train the staff to be more courteous and not to ask that many questions ..it feels like you where in Siberia.."
Contras: "7.5 hr flight from Lisbon to Philadelphia on a dingy old plane that looks like it hasn’t been retrofitted in close to 20 years, with no charging ports for electronics, which seems insane in this day and age, especially for such long flights. Had no in-seat entertainment systems either, and only offered news and sports on the American wi-fi service — not their usual lineup of movies and TV."
Contras: "The flight was delayed and then the airport in Philadelphia "wasn't aware" that we were coming to it took forever to get off the plane. I would have missed my next flight if they didn't wait for us. Also I couldn't check in online beforehand, which was frustrating. Also I waited in line at the British Airways desk to check in and it was a long line. When I finally got to the front I was told I had to check in at the American Airlines desk and I wish I had been told that earlier. One staff member was rude when I asked him to repeat the food options."
Contras: "As opções de menu não eram tão boas quanto o voo Aa950 ( Sao Paulo - New York) O aviao era um 767, que não possuia entretenimento indicidual. Alguns passageiros não respeitaram os demais, conversando auto ou utilizando a lanterna do celular. Os comissários não eram simpaticos"
Prós: "The crew made up for almost of the terrible things about the flight."
Contras: "The outdated plane had no plug in capability. No Gogo or individual in flight entertainment. The food was most inedible, the vegetarian snack was a hard baguette with old sliced tomatoes and wilted lettuce. I couldn’t eat most of what was served because it was so terrible."
Prós: "Three beer and three wine selection made the flight go by quicker. Food was better than expected based on pasta or shepherd's pie options."
Contras: "Full flight with uncomfortable seats, no tv/movies at each seat. Our AA four-hour flight after this was much nicer, with in flight entertainment. What?! I haven't flown on an international flight without entertainment at each seat in 10 years... And I have flown to over 40 countries since then."
Prós: "Sat at the gate for a while before pushing off. An announcement would be nice. Crammed into tiny seats. Wi fi didn't work (broken yesterday and they didn't fix). Very limited entertainment options on an 8 hour flight."
Contras: "Reasonably on time. Quit trying to sell us credit cards. How about improving the flying experience?"
Contras: "Confusion when boarding. Uncomfortable seat. No entertainment on a international flight! What kind of person thinks that is a good idea? I thought I will be flying British Airway for the flight back home that is why I bought this whole flight ticket. If I had known it will be AA flying back, I would fun as far away as possible."

Contras: "The plane had one of those aggravating screens on the back of every seat. I turned it off AT LEAST EIGHT TIMES and it kept coming back on, first to try to sell me on a credit card offer, then to show me previews of movies I wasn't going to watch on a 5 AM FLIGHT that was lasting 75 MINUTES. I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."
Contras: "No airline has trans Atlantic flights without personal entertainment anymore. I expect it and am super disappointed when I don’t get my movies."
Prós: "Check in em GRU foi tranquilo e rápido. O embarque correria tudo bem também, e a decolagem aconteceu no hora prevista. chegamos a Miami com antecedencia... tempo que foi perdido na imigração, que apesar de relativamente rápida, filas enormes e multidão de gente."
Contras: "Os lavatórios são sempre sujos, com mal cheiro e por vezes os materiais (sabonete, papéis...) acabam. Utilizá-los antes do pouso então é uma desafio. Para voos tão longos, as cias aéreas deveriam pesar em algum solução para manter o padrão de limpeza durante todo o voo, não somente no embarque."
Prós: "Arrived slightly early. The crew was efficient and friendly. The interior and seats looked new."

Contras: "Our seats were overbooked , causing us to almost miss our international connection. The staff were somewhat rude, but did try to solicit volunteers to give up seats and eventually the 4 passengers in my party did fly. But it was a very stressful 1hour until the issue was settled!"
