Contras: "It was impossible for me to reserve seats in advance. I tried online and via text messaging with the airline directly. I was finally told, after multiple attempts and many texts messages back and forth with a representative, that I could only reserve my seats during check-in at the airport because my ticket had been purchased via another airline/ service (I had connecting flights). This was very frustrating. Also, the seats on the plane were very uncomfortable, there's no room, and I'm not a large person. When they offered something to drink, I asked for water and had to pay 2.80 for it, there were no snacks. I would not fly this airline again."
Contras: "When we booked there was no information about fees for checked bags. I tried to Ck in online and pay for our bags then but the payment didn't go through. At the airport they charged me even more than it would have been online. The bags cost more than our seats. We should have been told!!"

Contras: "I don't understand why it took them around 15 min to check in each person. This was the most terrible check in I have ever experienced. One other staff member actually had to take over for one man doing check in because he was so slow. The flight ended up being almost an hour delayed. After this, they didn't even offer people free water. I have flown with low cost airlines all over the world and this was by far the worst."

Contras: "They put us in a Transavia plane from Barcelona to Amsterdam, we were on a line at five am for two and a half hours to check in. That was terrible. At the end the clerck was so stress out, that she did not write our connection flight number correct, so we did not get our luggage until the next day."
Contras: "The flight was delayed for about an hour and I don't remember there was an explanation for the delay. Also, the check in counter also opened late from the time it was mentioned."

Contras: "- zero accommodation + slight scorn for wife's cashew allergy, sigh. Other crews have been good, but not today's - very tight quarters for someone 6'2"/220lbs. Smaller configuration than other 747-800s - no on-board entertainment options with transavia."

Contras: "Faço profissionalmente pelo menos 5 viagens por ano, e quando são poucos dias, levo sempre uma mala de viagem com as dimensões permitidas para ir comigo no avião, e não perder tempo a despachar e a aguardar por bagagem. De Amesterdão para Lisboa, eu e o meu marido, levamos uma mala para os dois, e não nos deixaram ir com ela no avião,,,,despacharam no embarque para o porão!! Não e percebe.... Ficamos realmente chateados com a situação, nunca nos tinha acontecido. Embarque muito demorado e avião com lugares muito apertados...acho que a partir de agora vou evitar a Transavia"

Contras: "Flight was delayed, but more than that - WHERE ARE THE TRANSAVIA SIGNS AT THE AIRPORT?! I flew out of Orly, which is a nice, small airport that looks like a ghost town on one half of the check-in terminal. There are electronic kiosks which look like check-in kiosks but they don't work, and a whole floor of empty check-in booths with NO SIGNS as to where to go. I had to go to the information desk to find out where your check-in staff was - which is quite frustrating for a person who travels as much as I do. This should be easy, right? The trains in Paris are under construction during the summer. The whole transport system is screwed up (also lack of signs as to where to actually catch your train). So you're ALREADY stressed about catching your flight, and when you show up at the airport the check-in terminal (where is appears Transavia is located) is EMPTY?! That is RIDICULOUS. I am NOT a tourist. I LIVE & WORK all over Europe as an artist. I don't appreciate this sick twisted pleasure that some Europeans have in seeing confused tourists rush around like chickens with their heads cut off when their own infrastructure breaks down...because it DOESN'T JUST AFFECT THE TOURISTS! It's not cool. It's sadistic & a really crappy way to treat people who are just trying to appreciate and learn about your culture while supporting your economy while they're at it. A little bit of consideration goes a LONG way. And when it's severely lacking, as it was in this case, it makes me want to take my business & creative projects elsewhere. You have a whole Transavian UTOPIA one floor down from the main level. How about a few big TRANSAVIA SIGNS saying "ONE LEVEL DOWN" that tell people where to go instead of making everyone confused and mad when they're already in a rush to catch their plane?! How about a little empathy - seeing travel from the perspective of the TRAVELER? Just saying."
