I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Contras: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Contras: "It's unavoidable when flying between multi-lingual locations, but having movies and stuff pause three times for each announcement gets annoying. The rolls served with the meals were very dry. These are small nits, and the flight was generally enjoyable."

Contras: "I had a total of 4 Air Canada flights- various staff members on all flights were rude and uninviting. It’s not like my husband and I aided for anything when they were serving; they all seemed to be noted to hand you a beverage from their cart! Food was horrible- stereotypical airplane food and such a disappointment compared to some of the other flights with other airlines I’ve taken to various parts of Asia. Also, who charges for alchohol on an international flight?! They also don’t have entertainment systems on their flights- you need to download their app before take off so you have access to 5 crappy movies. Seriously, pay $100 more and go with someone else."

Prós: "Our flight was delayed an hour and a half about 18 hours before takeoff which was communicated to us before we got to the airport, so we got to sleep in later. We were unable to make our connecting flight because of the delay, but when we arrived in Toronto I had an email waiting to tell me that they had put us on another flight, which was direct, that would get us home at the same time we had been originally scheduled. The agent that we talked to once we got to Toronto also tried to get us on standby to another flight that would have gotten us home two hours earlier! Also, our bags made it home too after all of the changing! Great service, nice to have a charging station on board and the food was edible."

Food was awful with green sauce on chicken and celery bits in milk for salad, the connecting flight was cancelled and the option was another flight in two days. The only flight going later that evening was full and the next day was full also they said. An hour later a bus service was offered leaving in ten minutes which many of us raced to catch on our own with no one to show us how to get to the bus. The bus we were told to look for was the wrong bus. Of course our luggage didn't make it and that took another hour to register at our destination as every one else on the bus didn't get their luggage either. Bus driver got lost but passengers were able to show him the way. This is the third time in four flights Air Canada has lost our luggage. The worst was the NO ONE ever smiles, we were watching for it, and certainly NO ONE ever says we are sorry you are inconvenienced which would go a long way to make the delays and changes more tolerable."

We specifically asked to be seated together and the lady told me we were. I even confirmed with her and she told me yes again. When we boarded we found out our seats were 17 rows apart. I found out that she did this for the connecting flight as well (not as far apart but still not together) this caused a great deal of stress as I couldn't help her when I needed to."

Finally I had to walk back to the end of the plane where I saw four stedeardesses giggling over someone's phone. I missed one of the meals because I was dozing off and when I requested some food I was told that there was none left. The entertainment is subpar. You need a mobile or device with he app already installed. And even so the movies and shows are outdated and not very entertaining at all. On top of that, both legs of my flight my outlet was not working and not charging my device. Air Canada rouge- never again!"

Contras: "Never made it because of long delay of connection flight. Toronto airport is extremely poorly organized. Huge lines everywhere. Air Canada staff had no idea how to help. Rebooking very slow because 4 out of 5 staff was out for dinner. Air Canada overall: Awful service. Disorganized. Staff lack information."

Contras: "Lst 2 of 3 suitcases, no entertainment in seatback, personal device entertainment was very limited and dated, wine is not complimentary with meals on a long flight, screaming babies, overhead light would not work for the right side or middle of plane. As an Alliance member, you failed miserably. We will be seeking partial refund for you sendng one bag to Athens, one to Zurich and one to Munich."

Contras: "On the way to Europe i find out that i was supposed to download the app in order to watch movies on the plane, apparently i was supposed to get an email from Air Canada however there was NOT A SINGE EMAIL from Air canada. On breakfast they offer me banana bread. ARE YOU REALLY serious???? no eggs or sausage or something. Disgusting!!!! Had to beg flight attendant to give me piece of old bread. Very disgusting air lines!!!!!!"
