Contras: "Entertainment monitor kept stopping, then going, fast forward, then fast reverse. Watched a 1 hour 10 minute movie that took 2 hours 40 minutes to view. I am over 200 cm in height, the passenger in front of me was 163 cm with seat all the way back while sitting on the edge of her seat playing games. The monitor I was watching was about 14 cm from my face. I never put my seat back, but I sure as hell will now. This flight was over seven hours, that is to long to be contorted."

Contras: "Seats are terrible. Food is just ok, could me better, I remember 2012 when I was flying first time with Swiss (same route), food was excellent and seats were much more comfortable. I’m thinking to get back on Turkish Airlines although the trip is much longer, they are much better in both above mentioned segments."
Contras: "Reviewing Business class Nothing memorable at all. An ok dinner after take off followed by a tiny salad 8h later before landing. Quite minimal for such a long flight. The entertainment system needs special mention for its awfulness. The system in Business class would be considered poor even in Econ - small screen, terrible picture quality and a painful, prehistoric interface."

Contras: "My Partner and I was dissatisfied with our connecting from Zurich to Cairo. We expected the same flight but we were in basically in coach with little more leg room. The chairs barely reclined to a comfortable position. There was no entertainment, just a three and a half hour flight at the flight plan on a small tv hanging over. their was no differentiation between the economy behind us. just the food that was brought to us, other felt the same as well who were traveling in business with us."

But before that I found out I could not choose seats online for any of the Swiss Air Flights to and from Europe. It "had to be done" at the airport. Why? Never explained. I called Travis International, the agency booking the flights. Totally useless conversation resulted with no explanation."
Contras: "The Flights were longer than other airlines taking similar routes. The routing was absurd. To go from Naples to Munich and then turn around and go to Zurich before the 10 hour trip to Tampa made no sense. Lousy routing and customer service. Eidelswiss apparently is a lower-end branch of Swiss Air. My airfare was as much as and more than my other friends who flew Delta, for instance. Flights on other airlines did not take 10 hours from Zurich to Tampa. I lost the ticket receipts and could not claim anything for the items I bought to try get through the two full days without luggage, even though the airlines has a record of the claim. Outrageous!!"
Prós: "The plane was clean, on time, and the staff were professional and friendly."

So, never again Norwegian--Swiss was a nice change and, in the end, I paid more or less the same :-)"

The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable."

Prós: "I sat in row 95, the first economy row behind Business Class on three upper level of the A380. Infinite leg room. Seat reclined more than usual in economy. Boarding was pretty good. Three gangways, one for First and Business, two for Economy. Crew was very friendly throughout"
Contras: "Seat was still very narrow. I had the whole low cal meal. The fruit for dessert was nice, if half frozen, but the meal was dry chicken breast with some veggies, with a dry chicken 'salad' as side"

Contras: "Why do LH insist on serving the 2nd meal/beverage service in economy class until 50 minutes before the flight lands? I suspect they would argue it allows passengers to have greater rest however in Y class the passengers are awake long before......could I suggest serving the snack earlier as it prevents a very rushed service as trays are collected and cabin secured very near to the actual landing?"

I was asked to be on a waiting list with my luggage. When I was boarding I specifically asked the local crew whether my luggage is on board as well and I was answered definitely "YES"."

Entertainment was absent except for a screen showing a trailer of featured locations in Athens."
Prós: "The flight was completely full so they offered to check in the larger pieces of carry-on luggage for free. On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."
Contras: "Very slow service. I wanted to by several goods from duty free. But crew served only first 20 rows of aircraft."
Prós: "They flew full speed to catch up with the delays."
Contras: "Departure was scheduled with one hour delay. When everyone was boarded they mentioned a leaking toilet. It took them 1,5 hours to disable the toilet. In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

Contras: "The Amsterdam airport is super disorganized, with rude employees great at making excuses for their incompetence. The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance. The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?) The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want. We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell. The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM."
Prós: "The refurbishments of the 777 aircrafts has definately improved the experience. Passengers were given full liberty to the entertainment unit. The one thing that gives that niche to the flight experience are the crew - I must say I have had 8 flights in the past 6 weeks but the crew of this holland airlines have been great on all klm flights. Please keep up the good work - your attitude is everything!"

Contras: "I booked an Iberia flight through Kayak back in November and shortly after started getting emails from CSAirfare, a company I have never heard of, that my flight schedule wouldn't work. 3 or 4 email later, that was straightened out. I then tried to choose seats - couldn't even find an Iberia website, but since the flights were being operated by American, I tried to choose seats. I was able to choose seats once, but it never took. I let it go. A month before my flight, I could find an Iberia website. When I tried to book seats on Iberia, I was told it was really an American flight and they would redirect me to the American website and then American would kick me back to Iberia. Add to that the fact that although there was a 3 hour window between my connecting flights, somehow American couldn't get us off the ground and I ended up running through JFK and barely making my flight to Spain."
Prós: "Airbus 340-600 with confortable seats, decent leg room and comprehensive entertainment system in coach class (with wifi)."

Contras: "this is among the worst continental flights I've been in and the worst I remember so far. The plane was the oldest I remember for such long ours, with very uncomfortable, hard sits. Entertainment was inexistent. I don't remember the last time I flew this itinerary with no possibility of intertainment (no individual screens, and the only two screens in my side of the cabin not working). The crew member attending our side was all but nice. Only positive thing of the flight was the boarding. Shame of Iberia, and sad to think this is my country's airline... I will definitely avoid this company in the future unless they announce upgrade of their planes for intercontinental flights."

Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."
