Contras: "It looks like Lufthansa has decided to make business class more like "Premium Economy" with lie flat seats. 1) Food was very average with very little selection. 2) Dessert was a joke - other airlines have ice cream sundaes 3) NO HANDICAP BATHROOM. Must be illegal. FAA require Disability access by Disabilities Act. 4) Amenities kit - worst I have seen in all the airlines I have traveled. 5) Snack bar - No selection, just small chocolate, water and orange juice. Even economy planes like Jet Blue have better selection. German people are getting used to mediocrity and I am surprised. World class airline with cheap customer side product. Don't cut costs on things that customers see, touch and eat. To add to that, my mother in law is handicapped. When transferring her to the gate, they took her in a bus and did not strap the wheel chairs next to her chair. All of them fell on her - YES! THEY ALL FELL FROM A HEIGHT ON A HANDICAPPED PERSON WHO HAS ARTHRITIS AND IN PAIN ALL THE TIME. Damaged her knee joints. This is why we travel business class - and they hurt her more than if we took her our selves."

We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

The flight attendants were so happy and upbeat, it lifted your mood as well! I believe that we left a few minutes early, as boarding was completed early. And thefood? Mind-blowing for airplane food. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Prós: "That was my first experience with the Airbus 380. The plane is an excellent ship and the takeoff and landing was surprisingly smooth. Flying is very stable as well. Although it has two decks you are just in one and it looks like any other long distance plane. Seats are a bit narrow but comfortable. Entertainment is individual and plenty of options. Economy cabin is divided in two sections and each section has its own lavatories."
Contras: "The boarding and disembarking operation is never-ending and of course economy class has to wait until business and first -that are considerably large- have completed their getting out. Even with two exits for the two decks it was very slow. On boarding I also noticed that several passengers boarded the wrong deck: nobody but a generic sign was telling them what gate was theirs. With 450 or 500 passengers the chance that something goes wrong increases. In our case a passenger didn't make the connexion and the luggage had to be removed. Food is just fine. Surprisingly the beverage was extremely short of options: just wine or water, no coke or sodas. Same with supper: just coffee, water or juice. The trip was long -9 hours- but no water was offered between meals."

Contras: "There was an abusive passenger sitting behind me that kicked my chair the entire flight. They were angry that they didn't have more space and that I wanted to have my seat back. I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."
Contras: "BA lost one of my checked bags and made it impossible to get help. Called numbers over 30 hour period in both destination city and BA phone numbers for lost baggage and no one answered. I had to travel back to the airport counter to deal with agents that basically told me there were thousands of bags in the warehouse and that the bag May or May not eventually turn up."
Prós: "British Airways makes you pay for water!!! I accept paying for food and drinks but water should be free Also their machines to pay on board don’t accept USA credit cards so I couldn’t pay but a kind flight attendant allowed me to buy with card and she hand wrote info"
Contras: "You never gave me the opportunity to pick my seat and I was given a window seat over and back with 2 fat pigs next to me. What the hell were you thinking. You baggage personnel stole the gifts We purchased for our grandchildren in the Baltimore airport terminal baggage area. Where was TSA security?"

Passengers should be informed in advance or given a significant discount. Very disappointed."
Contras: "90 minutes delay for a 1 hour flight. They blamed the weather but no other flights were delayed except this one. Also, I purchased a seat with no checked baggage allowance and was NOT aware of this when I booked. Will not be flying British Airways again."

Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."

Contras: "There was no food provided on the flight from Sofia to London. Food was available to purchase but only with a credit card, while I had just cash so I could not buy food on the plane at all. The worst was the transfer between flights-security lines at Heathrow were long, my carry on luggage was checked a couple of times. I got to my gate 20min before takeoff, but the boarding had finished and the gate was closed. I missed my flight. How could BA not figure out a way to get me on that plane? I was just a transit passenger, I will never fly through Heathrow again. Lufthansa is a terrific airline, they always figure it out how to get you on the plane even if you late in transfer."

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."
