Contras: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Contras: "I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."
Prós: "The flight AMS to MEX was smooth, very helpful personnel on board, we enjoyed a bit more space and the seat seemed a bit more comfortable."
Contras: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contras: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Contras: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Contras: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

But now Joon is showing its true nature as a LOW COST airline.Seats cramped. Snacks and apple juice are now available for purchase only."
Prós: "That we were heading home. Nice seats. Good food. Lots of entertainment choices. Power plugs ( USB and European power) were appreciated. Wine as a choice with meal was appreciated and brandy after the meal."

I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Prós: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Contras: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!"

Contras: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."
Contras: "The company failed to transfer my checked-in bag to the next flight during the transfer apparently"

Prós: "Despite being closed out of my flight, LATAM made it relatively inexpensive to change my flight to the next day. But, flying on other airlines out of Santiago, there is really no need to close the flight one hour before flight time. This is a LATAM policy only. I should have been on that flight. My return flight was delayed 3 hours. Go figure."
Contras: "Arrived 50 min before flight, but it was closed and was forced to pay a change fee and arrive 2 days later to Easter Island. There was still plenty of time for me to make that flight, but LATAM's policy of closing flights 1 hr before flight time really screwed me."

Prós: "Overall I love the professionalism and customer service of LATAM. The interior lighting of the aircraft makes a big difference. The staff is always super polite and friendly. It's my favorite airline."
Contras: "On a 10 hour flight (LAX to Santiago Chile) they should offer more snacks and drinks for people to help themselves to in economy class. Other airlines have water and juice available I felt like I was bothering a crew member every time asked for a glass of water, when I could have just helped myself. Also, maybe have a few light snacks available. After a very light lunch, 8 and a half hours is a very long wait till breakfast!"

Prós: "Service is exceptional. Most polite staff ever in my flying experience and I'm 28 and have take over 50 flights in my life."
Contras: "-That we needed an app to watch the media. -Seats are smaller than some longer flights, but honestly they were fine. -Boarding takes a while, but I'm not sure there is a good solution. I did like how we loaded the front and back of the plane simultaneously. Good move!"

The in flight entertainment was only available to those who had a smartphone, tablet or laptop (otherwise there was 1 screen overhead, every other 4/5 rows of seats, playing 1 movie) the problem was then, if I wanted to watch something I would have to drain my phone's battery, and there are no USB ports to recharge, so by the time we land I'd have no mean of communication, that didnt sit well with me."

Contras: "I am very tall and luckily I got an emergency exit seat. If I had a regular middle aisle seat, I would have been miserable. Also what is with the thimbles of wine? Poor a real glass! The flight is 11 hours. Be more generous with the water. I go to the galley to get a glass. The crew pours me a small cup when I need about liter for 11 hour flight. When I ask for a second glass of water the flight attendants look at me like they want to call the sky marshals. Here is an idea: leave bottles of water and cups out and let people self serve."
Contras: "We were over an hour late taking off from Punta Arenas, with no explanation, and then had to debark at Santiago into buses to be driven to the terminal, taking even more time. The luggage did not come off the plane in a very timely fashion, but the WORST part was trying to make a now rather tight connection to Miami. Totally unhelpful, uncaring staff with little English in the terminal. I had everything I needed for a boarding pass: flight number, flight time, even a gate number, but they effectively wasted all the time I had to make the next flight, with little explanation as to why. How inefficient and wasteful to then have to put me in a hotel, with meals and transfers, and to rebook me for another flight!"
Prós: "Always a pleasure to travel to someplace for the first time. LAN provided access to the VIP lounge which made the experience at the Lima airport very nice. Aside from that the experience was efficient and as expected."
Contras: "There was a LAN strike at airport. No manager from LAN, nor airport came forth for over 2 hours to talk w/ passengers. 8 a.m. flight left at 2 p.m. No apologies given."

Prós: "The flight and in-flight service were excellent. The LAN support before and after our flight to Argentina has been very good. We are returning early because of a family emergency. LAN processed our change quickly after the initial request was registered. Overall LAN is a great airline."
Contras: "We were supposed to hear back within six hours after we were assigned a request number for our change of flight. We never received a call or an email and had to follow up ourselves after waiting most of the day for a call. Once we got through the change was processed quickly."

Between British Airways and Iberia, terrible handoff, communication and customer service."
Prós: "A more organized boarding. There was no one to assist when we arrived at the airport to check in and no one to guide us as to which line to go to when boarding. It is difficult being organized on our own in an environment which include cultures lacking organization or being considerate. All food required purchase. No entertainment provided."
Contras: "Crew needs to be more educated regarding disabilities such as head injury. Recovering from a concussion obtained when a car hit me while I was walking, but still sensitive to things such as light and noise. When asked to open the shade while landing there was a hesitation but at least they allowed me to leave the shade down at my window for this portion of the flight."

I then tried to purchase water and the machine rejected 3 times. My card worked perfectly on all flights and during my entire trip in Portugal. After assuring me if was probably their machine not my card, I was still not offered water."

After the long wait the first day to be told what was going on, with much anxiety, on the second day there was also a delay boarding. Although it was short, of course everyone was on edge. And BA did not tell us what was happening!!"

Contras: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

We purchased the most basic flight and that’s really what it was. Tight leg room and lots of people. If you’re over 5’5 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting extra leg room if it’s available. Aside from that. The flight was cool and the staff was nice!"

We were 5 minutes late to the gate--after being told in Miami they would hold the plane for us."

A sugestão era ficarmos a dormir em Paris uma noite, apesar de termos as reservas confirmadas. No gate foram simpáticos mas a funcionária do check in era uma francesa incompetente e antipática, que nem sequer conseguiu encontrar as nossas reservas. Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

Contras: "Gate agents never seem to recognize how difficult it is to hear announcements when there are anout 100 people milling around the gate and chatting. Boarding announcements need to be loud, clear, and spoken slowly. Repetirion wouldn't hurt."

Contras: "Iberia Airlines The flight attendants on the Iberia section of the flight from Madrid to Chicago could have cared less. The plane was late and the crew could have cared less. They fasten seat belt sign was on way way too long with no turbulence so they did not have to open the bar. They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. ."
