Prós: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."
Prós: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Prós: "They served food! I have been on competitor flights that were twice as long and would have had to pay for every single beverage or food. In Swiss on a 50 minutes flight I got a complimentary chocolate, a crossaint and beverage service. Amazing. The crew also has been very helpful and friendly."
Contras: "Landing in Zürich has been the bumpiest landing I have ever had. I believe that is due to the location and weather conditions but felt like the pilots also did not exactly react the way it should have been."

Several times, standing passengers fell on the sitting ines. When at the end of the flight, the issue was pointed out to the captain and supervising flight attendant, both became aggressively defensive to the point of being rude."

I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Followed by two hours of Iberia staff being surly, not looking me in they eye and doing absolutely nothing about getting me home. I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. I do accept that things can sometimes go wrong and that it is nobody’s fault. This is definitely somebody’s fault."

I asked a flight attendant to stop this abuse after I was bumped in head a number of times by a kid that was jumping across a row a seats in front of mine ,the flight attendant told me that I should tolerate this abuse because it was from a kid,then proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to go throughout this abuse ,I should fly in a private plane. I felt irate at such response from a flight attendant and responded that I will never fly Iberia again. I wanted the attendant to talk to the parents and ask them to control their kid from abusing the adjacent passengers.I felt the impulse to talk to the crew chief but decided against it simply because I would do them a favor if they listened. Truthfully I think carriers with such attitudes deserve to go bankrupt and I hope they do."

Tivemos que ir a correr ao balcão da Vueling e ainda nos ameaçou que o voo ia fechar...enfim, uma experiência a não repetir"

I would not fly Iberia again and recommend that FinnAir not affiliate with them"

Contras: "Very poor customer service at Iberia check in combined with a very large airport with no info on my receipt from Kayak telling me which terminal I was in resulted in needing a full three hours to get from arriving at the airport to getting to my gate. Long line to check in and the person checking me in told me I could not check hiking pools. I asked twice because I thought I couldn't carry them on. I waited in line for the security check and they told me I couldn't carry on my pools. Went back to check in and a person managing the line told me to go to a check in desk at the end. I waited there for 15 minutes and then when he finished with the family he was helping he told me he was on break and walked away. Went back to the woman that told me to go to him, she offered no apology and told me to wait back in the check in line. I then needed help to get back in the security line because my pass wouldn't scan, then had to take a tram to get to the correct gate (this is after taking a subway and then a shuttle bus to get to the right terminal). It is very unlikely I will fly Iberia again. The night before it took almost one hour for them to get luggage off the plan on a small local flight. Boarding both to and from Madrid was also disorganized and no one at the desk ensured that only people in a given boarding group were in line. Another source of frustration is that this was booked through Finnish air (code share?) so I could not check in on line or choose my seats."

Specially at the Airport, speaking English is very bad. I need an assistance to request for PRM ASSISTANCE for wheel chair, I don't believe that he don't speak English at all, Why would he be in that position. It should have bilingual person. I'm sure whether he pretend too I have walk back & forth to get help for information to have it translate to Spanish. All He does is make priority to all local people, it took one hour to get the wheel chair & then by transfer to intl national airport by bus took another hour, we check in @ 8:30AM by the time we get into the terminal was 12:30PM the flight leave 2 12:45PM. What a service. I will never ever flight with Iberia Airline. What a BAD service. Communication by itself is very very bad, the airline crew hardly can speak English. We have 6 people. We will definitely not recommend Iberia Airline. Thank you."

Contras: "It was seriously hot on this flight. I am very cold most of the time and I was sweating during parts of the flight. My husband is always warm and he was miserable all flight. Had to press the call button three times to get a glass of water when I was feeling ill. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and took awhile to get more. Couldn't sleep because of the temperature. Flight felt like it took double the time because it was so hot. Took forever to board and left way late, arrived late. Our flight over to Madrid was great, but this flight back was awful."

Prós: "Key to long haul flight is keeping everyone happy without forcing them to sleep. On a westbound flight arriving at night you want to get on the target timezone asap, this flight is the FIRST that really allowed me to do that without conflicting with people who don't know how to manage jet lag. The dimmable large windows and comfortable seat make it more comfortable. A/V with 3D map, online lunch ordering, being able to see outside without the bright sun bothering anyone, all worked well. +100 I was skeptical of the a la carte food & beverage service, without any regular service, especially on a long haul flight, but it seems to be much less hassle for stewards and frees up passengers to eat when they want. the food selection was meager and overpriced though. video system worked well, fortunately I found one good one, had all the trick play (replay, captions) so, ok, given meager selection. after 12 hour, people are tired, but few were visibly annoyed or crabby."
Contras: "They didn't have place to put garbage on the airplane, we tried to stuff it in the bathroom once, we just left the rest in the empty seat next to us. Spanish airports don't have good queue management, only two boarding classes, makeshift line. People crowd the gate making it seem like they'r about to get on next confusing the people who actually are next."
