As the only business class passenger i would have expected to be offered a drink then or even a bottle of water at my seat"

Contras: "Flight was almost an hour late because the boarding process was so slow. They took forever and then literally bussed us to the other side of the airport to the budget carrier side, which wasted more time. Was a bit of a joke really. Served seafood snack, not everyone eats seafood."
Prós: "We really enjoyed TAP Air Portugal and expect to fly with them again. Comfortable seats, pillow, blanket, and MEALS! Good ones with actual silver! USB charging port at every seat, with a good selection of movies. Great airline for a great price!"

Contras: "I am an Asian woman. After seeing the person who is a Caucasian man set next to me used the toile right in front of our seat twice during the flight, I went to use it. Just as I was entering the toilet a flight attendant yelled at me saying: "you can’t use this toilet. It’s for privileged people. You have to go to the end of the aircraft and use that one!" Then 10 minuets later another caucasian man seated behind me went to use the toilet right in front me without any problem."

Prós: "I loved the fact that our meals, drinks and seat allocation was included in the price. The staff at Azores air was excellent. The flight crew was friendly and it was a smooth flight that took off and landed on time."
Contras: "I bought the ticket through lastminute.com everything I had sent to me said I was on a TAP flight. It was a shared flight and I actually had to check in with Azores Air. This caused me a lot of stress as when I called lastminute.com to find out what was going on as TAP didn’t have a flight leaving to my destination it was only after several minutes of conveying there was no Tap flight that the customer service rep said oh you are to check in with Azores Air."
Contras: "They lost our luggages twice (from Boston to Terceira so we didn't have anything for 3 days at Flores, and on the way from Boston to DC they lost again) would you please tell about this crammy job they are doing to President of American Air Line Paulo Menezes. They ruined our vacation, this moment I still didn't get my luggage yet. thanks Masako"
Prós: "Flight from Sao Miguel was on time and arrival at Boston was also on time. The crew was friendly and professional. It would have been nice if the WiFi at the airport was faster so we could have loaded the WiFi app for on board entertainment, but somethings can’t always be accomplished."

Contras: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. They called us all, and then we had to wait about 15 minutes, with everyone standing. They don't call by row number, so it's a free for all. Food was so-so. Dinner was fish, which was dry and had no sauce. The cake was also dry, unlike the delicious brownie we had on the flight to the Azores. (But that flight was delayed 6 hours!) I don't want to watch entertainment on my tiny phone. I wish they had seatback screens as other Trans-Atlantic flights do."

Contras: "Boarded 1/2 hr late, note to self; don’t try to help stack the plates to assist the flight crew. Stewardess fussed at my GF for stacking the plates together neatly. She was only trying to help. Stewardess was rude, stating “ no no, not like that, this is cafeteria style” we didn’t get the memo. Anyway, hurt feelings report will be filed accordingly!"

And the return was worse - they cancelled two consecutive flights with no notice, causing us to stay three extra days, incur connection fees, other costs, and they could care less. Wound up flying to Lisbon on Ryanair. SATA says no refund. Worst airline in the world. We would never go back to Azores, thanks to them."

Contras: "- The one hour delay from Boston to Delgada one week earlier - The FOUR hour delay from Delgada on 6/21/17 - The personnel at the airport were not very helpful in communicating why the flight was late, nor what the accurate time for the next flight would occur - The fact that NO ONE apologized for this tremendous inconvenience until we landed in Boston and ONE flight attendant said "sorry for the delay"...... - The fact that there was NO attempt to make this delay right...... - Unfortunately, your online presence is horrible and will get worse because of this. Eight hours of actual round-trip flight time should not have to come with 5 hours of delays! Especially since it was perfect weather throughout! Very very disappointed in the entire trip."
Contras: "Flight was three hours late, missed connecting flight, staff was poorly organized and kept shifting gates, "business class was nothing more than a wider seat - food and service no better than in economy."

Contras: "Trying to be impartial on this review as it was my return trip that was a nightmare. I honestly just slept through the entire flight. It seems pretty obvious that SATA Has a monopoly on US flights to the Azores and they are making no effort to improve service."

Prós: "The flight crew was absolutely wonderful and very helpful with our 3-year-old son. He keeps asking to go on plane again because of how attentive they were and made his trip very enjoyable."
Contras: "No entertainment at all. The seats could have more recline as it was an overnight flight and nearly impossible to sleep. The trays for business class are so close that it is awkward and uncomfortable to use."

Contras: "The airport in Lisbon was terrible. Got bussed 20 minutes to get to terminal and had to wait 2 hours in line to get through passport line. Could not find my bag, finally found it in a heap to the side. My friend traveling Air Canada had no trouble same day same time."
Contras: "Was too tired and worn out to really care after the long delay. Won't fly this airline again."
Contras: "The delay of over 12 hours was terrible. I'm sure most people will complain as everyone was furious. The staff didn't provide any guidance towards what the problem was or how long we could be waiting. Their communications were guesses at best."
Prós: "Nothing. We didn't take this flight because of the SATA airline strike which left us stuck in Ponta Felgada for 2 days."
Contras: "We were majorly inconvenienced when finding out our flight was delayed, then cancelled completely, the. It happened again the next day. Lost 2 days of our trip whih were supposed to be in Lisbon. We found a Ryanair flight to Porto just to get to the mainland. What a nightmare. Never flying with Azores/SATA again!!"
