Prós: "The aircraft (operating the route due to the COVID-19 shortage in traffic between the two cities) was extremely nice and quite/comfortable. The service was better than expected, as I didn't expect food to be served on dishes like it was during the pandemic. But it was amazing!"
Contras: "The crew didn't have their masks on sometimes when coming back into the cabin as they simply forgot (the new norm is hard to get used to) so maybe the airline can stress the mandatory use of face masks at ALL times. Furthermore, for my comfort of the flight (with COVID) the FA's should use gloves"

Prós: "The purser was very nice and professional, especially when some other crew members sometimes were not. Food was good and the seats were a bit less tight and narrow than in some other airlines."
Contras: "Our toddler kept pushing the call button, which was very hard to prevent. A first crew member told us to stop it without telling us how - which is quite difficult. Only the purser later helped us to find a solution by gluing something over it."

Contras: "We booked our group of four with Lufthansa, paying $300 more than equivalent flights on competing airlines, specifically because our 20 month old daughter fits within Lufthansa's age, height, and weight limits for using the bassinet. We have reserved our tickets and the bassinet over two months in advance, paying $35 extra per seat for these reservations, and even got an email that specifically stated "bassinet confirmed". On the flight, when it came time to install the bassinets, the flight attendant came to us, took a look at our daughter, and said that she will not fit in the bassinet, that she is too tall, and too heavy, and suggested that we should have checked the limits for the bassinet before coming on the flight. When we inquired as to the actual limits, she could not provide any numbers, only said that she could see that our daughter is too big for it. When the family next to us got their bassinet, it became very obvious that our daughter would fit in the bassinet, and we pointed out that she was well below the height and weight limits published on the Lufthansa website. Only then did the flight attendant admit that there were other babies on the flight, and they only had four bassinets on the plane, despite having 11 slots where bassinets could be installed. Our reservation months in advance did not matter - we did not get the bassinet. As compensation, we were offered some Lufthansa miles, or 50 euros for in-flight duty free shopping. However, we lost close to 1000 dollars as a group when we chose to fly Lufthansa rather than a less expensive airline. We were very uncomfortable throughout the flight, having to hold my daughter in my arms for over five hours. We are are still very upset that the crew blatantly lied to us."

Prós: "This flight was 11 hours and I could have lasted another 2 or so hours."
Contras: "The lady who checks paperwork for animals at the front desk with Luftansa Airlines was uninformed and didn't know what she was doing as well as unnessarily rude. MY large dog was on this flight and after several employees had looked over my forms for him she came out nowhere and threatened to not allow my dog on board due to faulty and incomplete paperwork! I instantly went into a nervous condition of the sweats and scrambled to prove her wrong. When I asked again what was wrong with my (actually legitame paperwork) she just told me that at this point it didn't matter and that she would allow me to fly even though I was at risk of quarantine aty destination. I wasn't happy about this and asked again why there seemed to be an issue and she was unhelpful, handed me a business card for the USDA and told me that I was lucky to get away with her travel mercies for my dog. I had visited a USDA certified veterinarian and she hadn't given me the opportunity to prove this. I was confused and annoyed and while the other employees could see this about me, they apologized on her behalf. I really wish I had gotten this woman's name and work station so I could follow up with her and inform her on a few things. Other than that I love working with and flying Lufthansa airlines!"

Contras: "Air France should not sell tickets for which the connection flights are almost impossible to catch. My luggage was not transferred to my connecting flight. I had to run to catch the flight to Bucharest. At CDC there were only two custom officers for checking passport of EU citizens, on a Saturday morning with hundreds and hundreds incoming travelers. On top of it, one female officer was rude. Typical french :("

Prós: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Contras: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"

Contras: "I leave my jacket in the hanger when I get off the airplane I realized that they didn’t gave it to me. I inmeadiatly tey to go back but I couldn’t I went to the counter and they said that there was noting on the plane !"

Contras: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Prós: "Staff pleasant and courteous fine meal and beverages! Arrived ahead of schedule in Bucharest!! Overall a very pleasant experience!"

Contras: "Its been a week. My trip has ended. I still do not have my bags. Terrible customer service."

Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good."

Prós: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Contras: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Contras: "Comfort economy okis seats are wide, with good legroom, but did not recline and hard as a rock. Entertainment system hard to use, finding movies very tedious."

Contras: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."

Contras: "I was forced to rebook my 3rd leg after taking trains in the middle."

Prós: "Wheel chair service at LAX is run by the airport. Their priority is to get you to your flight, not to a VIP room regardless of how early you check in."

Contras: "The attendants could have been more hospitable"

Contras: "Should enforce limits on carry on items which causes boarding delays and inconveniences. Some people with large personal items and backpacks and carry on take multiple storage spaces in overhead bins."

Contras: "Everything else. For starters, I purchased a ticket from LAX to Kiev with a 2 hour stop in Toronto. AIR CANADA never informed me I'll need an eTA and I had to do it under pressure of missing my flight at the airport. Connection was awful as well. My luggage never arrived to Kiev...."

If you call to complain and ask for compensation, I’ll hey tell you to submit an email and they will respond 3-5 weeks or longer. Will never fly Air Canada again. Will tell everyone on my social media how awful this airline is to customers."

Contras: "Since my flight was delayed from calgary I had to sleep overnight to catch a morning flight. To my inconvenience I had to wait to have my seat assigned at the gate. I asked the rep at the gate to please have an aisle seat but she asked me to wait as she will call my name for seat assignments later. As I waited like she called many names and not mine, i again reminded her that she didnt call mine and she then just gave me my boarding pass without even apologizing that shr had put me in a middle seat. I told her i cant sit im a middle seat i need am aisle because I go to the bathroom often. she coldly said. "no more aisle seats". bad experience with ground staff in general as this is not the first time."

Contras: "No TV"

Contras: "Arrived 1 hr 15 min late."

Contras: "Employees seemed somewhat disorganized. There was not enough space in front of counter for people and there luggage. I ticketing agent would yell from far down the counter "Next...Next!) and finally walk closer so people in line could see/hear them. Then, often that next customer could not get to the counter in front of the agent because of the pillars and other people were blocking them. The space was too cramped. At boarding, Instructions over the loudspeaker were not clear and the video screens contained incorrect information about boarding. At one point the agent came out and yelled at everyone to "get out of line!, we are not boarding yet". I have never seen this process handled so poorly and I fly quite a bit."

Contras: "Baggage hasn't arrived after 45 minutes"

Contras: "Your worst nightmare. Lost my luggage and 24 hours can't even tell me where it is. Complete incompetence."

Prós: "Team was accommodating and helped with my4 year old kid to make the travel experience easier."
Contras: "Had to pay extra for bags. Policy wasn't clear when purchasing tickets, and was surprised to pay $25 per bag."

Prós: "We had requested special meals and they showed up fine on the reservation page o. AirCanad's web site. Then they changed the itinerary (again) with a minor improvement after we had upgraded to Business class. Somehow Air Canada deleted the special meals. Not just lost with the change but actively deleted according their rep. So no meals."

Contras: "Good flight.. but.. (1) GTAA Ground support on luggage is totally inadequate for this aircraft.. a 30 min wait after the long walk from the landing gate and clearing customs. (2) the new flight tracker program is idiotic with unrelated place names flying all over the screen with no clear sense of where we are."

Prós: "We were already delayed by alot"

Contras: "1. Boarding arrangement was very poor. 2. No zone number on our boarding passes. Although we were seated in seats 22,23, we were automatically pushed to zone 5 and forced to board last. 3. My wife and I were assigned two middle seats in two separate rows. 4. We were forced to check in our cabin baggage saying that there was lack of overhead space, but when we boarded among last passengers, there were a number of empty overhead bins. We could easily have saved 45 minutes in Toronto airport without having to wait for our bags."

Prós: "This was my first time using Air Canada and I was so excited after seeing all of the wonderful photos of this luxurious aircraft! Upon boarding, I sat patiently as I waited for my boarding group (3) to be called. Once my group was called up, i waited in line next to board while to the right of the line therw was an inpatient mob of group 4's & 5's eagerly waiting to board. The announcement of group 4 and 5 boarding sent the mob into a frenzy and they shoved their way in front of all of us group 3's knocking me down. The Air Canada staff did not assist nor did they do anything to regulate groups and ensure everyone's safety. I have never been more disappointed in an airline. Im fine now in case anyone cares."

The announcement of group 4 and 5 boarding sent the mob into a frenzy and they shoved their way in front of all of us group 3's knocking me down. The Air Canada staff did not assist nor did they do anything to regulate groups and ensure everyone's safety. I have never been more disappointed in an airline."

Contras: "Losing my bag, someone took it by mistake, but all turned out well."

Prós: "Grear"

Contras: "I paid to upgrade seating and on other airlines you get priority boarding and can store your bag in the overhead bin. Not the case with air canada...not great customer experience compared to delta or united."

Prós: "almost nothing"
Contras: "Pre-boarding wait is extremely long with all the different groups. Seems you always have a problem with carry on luggage so those in Group 5 will always be forced to check-in unwillingly. Staff taking ticket is unfriendly at gate - i was YELLED at because I had a thin garment bag along with my small international carry on and purse. it was considered 3 bags .... since when does a dress inside a garment bag warrant a full other carry on? It could have folded into my carry on but the purpose of a garment bag is so you do not have to wrinkled it in your luggage. He moved me to the side and told me I needed to check it in, I was NOT allowed to hang it in the plane b/c i'm not a business passenger. WTF. After 10 min of waiting on the side I folded up my garment bag and shoved it in my purse - after another 5 min he gave me my luggage and told me to head toward the plane. Worst. Flight. Ever"

Contras: "Lavatories didn't flash properly. No tap water"

Prós: "Nothing"
Contras: "Customer service"

Prós: "Clean plane"
Contras: "Number of movie selections for a transcontinental flight was really poor especially compared to a Delta transcontinental flight I took the week before."

Prós: "Your service was good."
Contras: "The outcome was not. They would not allow me to board the plane b/c I didn't have a valid passport. I grew up in Canada & over the years have crossed the border in both directions & never needed a passport. Could you be more diligent in letting people know this."

Prós: "That it brought me to my destination"
Contras: "I' a small person is this i entirely uncomfortable, so i can't imagine what it's like for bigger ppl. BTW seems like Air Canada was just opening at 4am, so there were huge lines for checkin but no people were attending the Air Canada counters. THen at about 4:30 they all started coming out. For a 6am flight ppl are supposed to be there 2 hours before. I usually don't feel nauseated on planes but I did for this ride."

Prós: "Yes, I like it"
Contras: "We could not book for large group, so we have to separate"

Prós: "Modern plane, space, good service"
Contras: "The pasta was not good and the piece of sugary bread for breakfast was also not good."

Prós: "Great!"
Contras: "Breat"

Contras: "Child behind me kicking seat entire time!!!"

Prós: "service staff were nice"
Contras: "didn't like that bags cost USD25 extra. USD10 should be the cost."

Prós: "It was good!"

Contras: "If you have a stop in Canada - you must have Canadian visa! Which does not make any sense and no one warned me about that."

Prós: "I got a larger than normal seat,"
Contras: "The idiots lost my luggage, and it took two full days and about 20 phone calls to get it back."

Contras: "the egg sandwich had a really bad sauce on it."

Contras: "We had to sit on a bus and wait 30 minutes to be taken to a different gate. The seats aren't comfortable and like most the seating is cramped with little space. Flight attendant was rude after I refused to take an aisle seat from my window seat."

Prós: "Never flown "air canada", was a bit apprehensive. But I was very much happy & pleasantly surprised!"

Prós: "On time, excellent flight."
Contras: "There was only a very limited choice of movies to select from."
