Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Contras: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Contras: "No outlets on either flight or in the airport so can't use electrics for almost the entire trip. The seats are extremely narrow to the point out of unprobabability to have your own space even if sitting next to regular build person. Food was only ok and service was below average with trash often not collected and needing to request water etc"

Contras: "I’m a 6’3” in shape man. I selected the bulkhead seats for extra leg room. Great crew, but my shoulders stuck past the seat edge 3” on both sides. Qatar should revise their claim of most room in cabin - this 12 hour flight was one of the roughest I’ve had in a long time comfort wise."

Prós: "Food was far superior to any other airline food. As was customer service. Airline payed for a nice hotel during lng layover."
Contras: "Clearing immigration in Qatar took about two hours. They had so many staff overal at the airport, but were super understaffed at immigration."

Contras: "Everything, the food and movies are old, beside all that the flight late and my connection left and no one apologist for that!!!"

Prós: "I really enjoyed the flight, which was almost 15 hours long. I give an overall 4 star review for this flight. The boarding process was pretty organized (without including the ignorant passengers who can't read their zone numbers, haha) because they called us up group by group, in a speedy process. Even inside, the cabin crew welcomed us aboard and showed us where our seats are. This leads me to my 5-star rating of the service. Very warm, friendly, and generally helpful cabin crew Qatar Airways has. They fulfilled all my needs even if they had to go out of their way. As for entertainment, I was very surprised at how many great movies they have! Especially the new ones! I would not be bored again with this selection. Food was okay to be honest. It was a hot meal that satisfied my hunger and tasted good, but maybe it's just me and airplane food. Doesn't taste right for me. And to be honest, I was cramped. Not even me but many other passengers felt like the seats were too small. Overall, Good experience!"

Prós: "I wish this airline had more service within the US!! This airline is impeccable. We flew 16 hours from Doha to Miami and it was amazing. At the airport in Doha the flight representative went above and beyond to accommodate better seating for myself and my son. Luckily it was not a full flight and lots of the passengers had plenty of space. The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional. I will definitely be giving this airline my hard earned money in the future for reservations as much as I can!!!!"

Contras: "The flight was delayed for two hours without any warning, despite being registered for the airline's flight notification system. Service was terrible. The flight crew did not offer any kind of apology or explanation for the delay. Food and beverage service was delayed and the staff was forgetful of guests' requests. Upon our arrival in Doha, checked bags did not arrive until 2 hours after we landed! How does an airport receive a 5-star rating, but takes 2 hours to return baggage to its guests? Overall, a poor experience from Qatar Airways."

Contras: "Não pude fazer o vôo por falha grave da swiss que atrasou e não teve o cuidado de fazer com que os passageiros chegassem à sua conceção atempadamente. Senti-me muito desamparada."

Contras: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

Contras: "The flight was very delayed, and the communications from Swiss was lacking. In fact their app thought the flight had taken off and landed on time?!"

Contras: "Only one agent to check in economy passengers two agents for first class and 2 or 3 for special needs. There were many more economy passengers and it took a lot longer to be serviced more agents for economy would have been more equitable"

Prós: "I loved the amount of attention and consoling that was given to an ailing elderly woman on my flight to Turkey! On my flight to Ghana the attendants were so gentle and provided a lot of ammenities. Oh and the hotel was an amazing experience and respite especially after the run-around at the airport. Thank you"
Contras: "I did not enjoy the run-around I was given in trying to find the hotel desk. “50 meters then turn left” was the anthem. All someone had to say was go outside the airport and you’ll find the hotel desk! Hehe thank you Turkish Airlines however! Thank you."

Contras: "I had my flight from London to Istanbul delayed and because I had connection flight in Istanbul to Russia they had to change my flight for the next day . That ruined my whole holidays and I had to go all the way home from Gatwick airport and next morning going again to Heathrow airport. No transfer or taxi was provided and No single apology from the staff or company . Very disappointed with Turkish airlines !"

Contras: "Expedia has doubled charged me for this flight and do not reimburse. You can't issue two seats for only one person. It's a scam."

Prós: "Many movies to watch. There are news channels like CNN to keep you updated with what las happening in the world."
Contras: "We had a connection at Istanbul. No laptop or notebook was allowed. A small portable charger to my iPhone was confisticated even thought it is smaller than my iPhone. Turkish TSA seemed a little confused with what to confisticate. They almost took away my portable shaver too. There were 4 little kids running around aisle during the flight forcing me to watch movies instead of sleep crossing the Atlantic Ocean."

Prós: "No real issues, we were served a decent meal, plane was new and the crew were friendly."
Contras: "Flight was severely delayed, not due to any fault of the airline but we were left sitting on board for 90 minutes with very little information m."

Prós: "I ve travelled many times on Qatar ,Emirates,and jordanian air lines but the Turkish was the poorest and the worst .A limited choices and little food ,and these people on the airplane donot do their jobs properly .I hope it will be better next time if there is a next time ."

Contras: "This leg of both of our flights (going and return) was quite cramped. Due to an unfortunate delay on our return flight, our overall day was extended from ~8 hours to 16 hours, and had us flying through the night--very unexpected and tiring. Additionally, although we requested kosher meals well in advance, the delay/cancellation of our flights and rebooking effectively cancelled our kosher meals and there was nothing for us to eat. This was very frustrating."

Prós: "Other than the late departure, everything else was excellent."
Contras: "Just the fact that we were some 40 minutes late, and this created panic among those passengers who had tight connections to Tehran, Tel-Aviv and Tbilisi. The rest was excellent!"

Contras: "They told us to observe the 4 groups mentioned on our boarding passes, then there was only one entry... From buses to plane, instead of separating people into buses according to seating, they mixed them all up, hence people who had seats up front were entering the rear of the plane and vice-versa, causing incredible congestion and confusion when boarding, people along the center aisles going both ways and trying to pass while loaded with hand baggage, quite ridiculous indeed."

Contras: "in a previous email we explained that by the time we arrived at the gate in Sao Paulo, the airline refused our boarding the plane and said only "we don't like Kayak". We never boarded the plane and there was a credit to our credit card, so why are you asking how our flight went?"

Prós: "The delta crew both ways between Portland and London was excellent! They saw to our every need and were smiling every air mile of the way. Plane"
Contras: "Need to have food choices available for those with allergies. Almost everything had gluten and soy in it and I am very allergic to those. I had to give away all snacks and most of my food. Even in comfort+ class the seats are tiny with little legroom. Also, please clean the bathroom every few hours"

Contras: "delta security in the UK is an absolute farce. The security screening at LHR was long and understaffed"

Contras: "I booked with KLM (sky team) two separate return bookings on via SKY TEAM JFK > heathrow (delta) Heathrow > Amsterdam (klm) On the return leg, I couldn’t check my bag all the way through to JFK even though I stayed on SKY TEAM carriers. That should be possible, otherwise the value of staying in SKY TEAM isn’t as valuable to me."

Contras: "One of the older male flight attendants was not polite. Got a ride, short response when asking him for anything."

Prós: "Good films"
Contras: "Seats cramped, legroom bad"

Prós: "Very friendly crew"
Contras: "Lack of subtitles on available movies & series"

Contras: "I had the feeling they were short on crew staff, they were barely checking and I called them a couple of times, the blue light was on but no one came to check what I needed. At first the reading lights were not working and they got those reset at least. One choice of food was not available anymore once they got to our seats."

Prós: "The crew was nice and friendly and the plane was half empty."
Contras: "When are the Airlines going to start serving a decent coffee on board? It does not matter Delta is now serving Starbucks. Something they do that messes up the whole thing, probably overheat for too long."

Prós: "Staff were friendly and attentive. Boarding was good - efficient and quick."
Contras: "Seats were not that comfortable. Aircraft very noisy. Competition offers a much better service. Transfer in Atlanta was a nightmare, taking almost two hours from landing to getting to the domestic gate for the next sector. only three immigration staff working."

Prós: "The variety of what you could listen to or watch. Liked the way the seats reclined. Plenty of leg room (I am short)."

Prós: "There were alot of good movies to choose from, and the food wasn't bad."
Contras: "It's always very uncomfortable to sit on a plane for a long time, but that's nobody's fault"

Contras: "We upgraded to Sky priority but we're not allowed to load with Sky priority. They made us wait for Zone 3. We also did not get the designated overhead space we paid for and had to put our bags under the seat in front of us. A bit disappointing to pay $240 extra and not get what we paid for."

Contras: "The entry into the Atlanta airport after landing was somewhat chaotic. We were backed up circling before landing for ~ 1 hour and there seemed to be an unusually large number of folks trying to get through customs/security - noe Delta's fault but an unwelcome experience after being in the air for 8+ hours."

Prós: "Super friendly and attentive crew. Good food. Nice new seats. Great tv entertainment options!"

Contras: "The wifi didn't work at all, the entertainment system wasn't working until they did a reboot during the flight"

Contras: "Economy seats have no leg room and seats are very uncomfortable to your back during a 8hr flight. Flight attendants skipped rows for drinks, snacks, etc and would have to be called back. Paying close to a thousand per ticket, you'd expect a little better experience but oh well."

Prós: "Service was good. Attendants polite. Information good."

Prós: "There wasn't much to like. Just about everything was wrong. The plane was a newish 787, so it didn't feel old. Boarding went well because we complained about how tired we, at 70+, were because the flight was late and we'd been standing up; this resulted in us being boarded with some of the latish priority passengers."
Contras: "Everything, really. The plane was very crowded; small seats, little leg room. The meals were mediocre and the cabin staff were just barely the good side of unhelpful, officious and unfriendly The flight was inexplicably 2 hours or more late in excellent weather. No apologies given, the flight that was originally scheduled for 8 pm left close to 11 pm. While boarding the only light is a purplish ambient lighting that made it impossible to read anything, including the safety material, until the inflight entertainment was loaded up (the lights are only controlled through software-actuated virtual buttons on the screen). The inflight entertainment system is hard to use, too, designed by idiots for use by geniuses. But the very worst thing was the stress caused by Virgin Atlantic in just about guaranteeing that we would miss this flight. On our outbound voyage in January, VA, for reasons nobody knows, booked an ADDITIONAL leg from JHB to CPT on BA at 12:30 pm, even though we were already ON the earlier 9:30 BA flight we'd booked and paid for. Then, when we didn't show up for this spurious flight (because we were already in the air) we didn't book (BA swears they have evidence that VA made this booking), our return flight CPT to JBG three months later was cancelled WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. If I hadn't been interested in knowing, the day before the flight, if the return BA flight had a meal, I would have showed up at the CPT airport in April and discovered that I had no way to get to the VA flight in JHB! As it was I spent an entire day trying to get back on the flight I'd already paid for. I advise EVERYONE who uses VA to reconfirm flights over and over. There is still no explanation for this. I will never NEVER fly VA again. They are not to be trusted."

Contras: "Entertainment was working, watching movie when they said done didn't have do they were resetting system. They tried twice taking over an hour and it never came back on for anyone..... :("

Contras: "Considering that we’re in the middle of a pandemic no LH ground staff at Heathrow Airport was leading by example wearing protective equipment such as mask or gloves. Further, I found it inexplicably that almost every seat was taken on this flight. If LH knows that the flight is booked close to capacity I would have expected they do their part and due diligence by swapping to a bigger aircraft to help protect people and their customers, it’s not that they wouldn’t have other aircrafts grounded and ready to go... A reduced beverage service is all you can do, really? LH - very disappointing once again"

Prós: "Didn’t like anything. Mediocre all round."
Contras: "Disembarkation took 40 mins due to which most passengers struggled to catch connecting flights. Very poor service by Lufthansa to help delayed passengers."

Prós: "Everything other than luggage situation"
Contras: "Luggage left in London and had to pay for baggage when Momondo said luggage was included"

Prós: "Nothing!"

Prós: "Boarding was quick and good"

Prós: "Seat and crew were amazing but obviously struggled to be proud and confident of their job, can’t blame them if the company cuts expenses all over."
Contras: "When you fly business class, you expect a different product than economy, because you pay almost double the price. All we got is the same lousy sandwich as in economy, neither are alcoholic or hot beverages available due to ‘shortage of staff’ as the crew announces. A flight far behind LH standards."

Prós: "Nothing at all, whole experience was incredibly stressful"
Contras: "The transfer was awful. Long line for the frankly bizarre security check despite never leaving the terminal, incredibly rude staff at Frankfurt airport, all wearing may we help badges, so kind of answered their own question. Check in staff once we had sprinted th length of the terminal very rude"

Prós: "Crew very helpful."
Contras: "Both flights late. Food was worthy rather than tasty. Seats small. Too much plastic - why not use non plastic cups. Sexist safety card."

Contras: "The delay on embarking into the plane. Stayed on the bus, in from of the plane for about 15 minutes and I thought I was in an sauna. and on the departure was delay for about 15 minutes . The crew was OK but nothing out of the ordinary."

Prós: "Despite the short flight we were still given food and as always I love airline food. Free alcohol is always a bonus as well! Nice crew and timely take offs and landings. Could bring two hand luggage (backpack and suitcase) which I like even though I didn't have to pay extra!"
Contras: "No negatives."

Prós: "Very explanatory clear and responsive. There was a short delay they kept us informed clearly and responsibly. Excellent flight and superb performance. Very polite and helpful."

Contras: "Flight from Heathrow to Frankfurt delayed, when we arrived we had no chance of making our connecting flight to Split yet no one told us. No one at the gate which didn’t say final call (or on any of the boards) or anyone calling us over the tannoy at any point. Super rude “flight manager” A. Turini burst out laughing when we told him our situation and when I asked why he said “Well would it make you happier if I cry instead?” So unprofessional."

Prós: "The ground staff in Heathrow was helpful. They happily swapped me onto an earlier flight to Munich after I spotted delays out of Munich, allowing me ample time to connect in Munich airport"
Contras: "Lufthansa's narrowbodies have one of the most uncomfortable seats in the sky. These slimline seats are built with a central beam running vertically along the midline of the seat, making it very uncomfortable with your spine."

Prós: "Good crew, very polite. Good ambient temperature on the plane. Food was good."
Contras: "Paid WiFi didn’t work for half the flight. They should post a map with when it works (above which countries) as apparently it’s a licensing issue."

Contras: "Cancelled flight and transferring me on turkish airlines again the flight was delayed over three hours.,obviously we have missed our connection flight to Beirut and now waiting in front the hotel desk because the first flight to Beirut is 12:25 pm , I have lost 2 days from my holiday,I'm very tired and upset, I will never use kayak ever again and I will tell all my friends and family to avoid it."

Contras: "The flight was delayed . When we arrived in Frankfurt, there was a quie of 200m . After waiting 10 minutes, they asked us to go to other passport control . We had to walk onother 10 minutes to get there ."

Contras: "Poor food on first leg. Sat by a man who was allowed to have 7 cans of beer. On second leg of journey I was willing to pay for food. The best choice for anyone trying to eat a healthy diet was pot noodles. Air Canada get 2 stars. Return journey on United gets 4stars."
