I understand they need seats but crew should upgrade another couple with no toddlers and maybe a star alliance gold member rather than give this family with the toddlers the upgrade. No one wants to pay for business class with 2toddlers crying and up and down aisle ."
Contras: "It was an excelent flight. The cabin crew was very nice and the servise was excellent. The food was very delicious and it was Turkish food. The flight wasn't boring and we even didn't notice how time passed and we landed in Istanbul. We didn't need to wait for our luggage. Thank you very much."

Contras: "On our longest flight, we were put in a cramped plane with no entertainment systems. It's sad to see a company that has such potential blowing it with these sort of cost saving/ customer losing choices. Please upgrade your fleet to stay competitive with your surrounding competition!"
Contras: "Connection time was 1h 50 mn coz and still didnt catch my next plan It took me 3 hours to get to the transfer desk in Turkish airline and another 3 hours to be in the hotel. I not recommend it after this bad experience"

I tried to reach the airline to cancel my ticket and they said it's not refundable. Therefore, I would definitely recommend showing refund options when selling tickets. I flew with my 3 yo and the stuff kept spoiling him with goodie bags. On the way there (it was overnight flight) I'll give it 5 out of 5 and on the way back - it was a bit cold on the flight, it might be just me, however. The food also seemed better on the way to Turkey; on the way back I found myself hungry more often and the food was not as good (day flight). Excellent, will definitely fly again, just for the service and the experience!!"

Prós: "I have flown with all big airlines including Lufthansa, BA, Delta, American and others. This flight was by far the best experience I had. They have lovely serving crew so no one actually hesitates to ask or want something. They have helped me and my two toddlers along with 3 other similar families of an incredible amount to make sure they are all comfortable. No wonder that received the best airline of europe award for several years in a row...There was only a 20 minutes delay during take-off and we still arrived home a bit early... Very smooth flight, one that I still cant believe I had with my 2 toddlers. Strongly recommended."
Contras: "Flight was cancel due to problems in Turkish government. The rescheduling of the new flights were "all lies" From Naples to Munich was ok, but the flight from Munich to Dubai was not confirmed (even though I had a printed ticket). Emirate airlines refused to take us and I was stuck in Munich all night, waiting for new reschedule. Horrible experience. I will avoid Turkish airlines in any of my future flights."

I believe that police officers with openly carried machine guns INSIDE of TSA secured zone at FRA is too much (though I am not a law enforcement person)."
Prós: "I witnessed the flight crew defuse a conflict between two male passengers (that had escalated to shouting and throwing each others belongings out of overhead storage) before we left Frankfurt. A male steward showed he could be professionally stern when backing up a female coworker handling the situation and compassionate when he comforted an elderly woman in distress halfway through the intercontinental flight. The entire crew I interacted with in economy class were professional, friendly, welcoming, and helpful."
Contras: "Boarding the entire plane at once was inefficient and caused conflicts over the availability of overhead storage. Obviously this is an airline decision and not a flight specific problem."

Contras: "My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."
Prós: "Best flying experience ever. Loved the new aircraft. Crew was exceptional. Service (food, drinks) was wonderful. Loved the continuous water offered. Very comfortable seats and great entertainment. Loved the 5 restrooms downstairs! Great design! Very impressed and I don't impress easily."

Contras: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Contras: "They charged me 35 dollars to check in and the reason I did not check in was because their other flight was running late and was not sure I will make to that flight. It took forever to get bags in Riga. In the empty flight the way they were seating people was crazy. I'm lifetime gold with American Airlines so I do fair share flying and can tell you it's not a good Airline."

At check in we were told I had not done this and we had to go pay at another desk in the airport and come back to the check in line, 40 euros each. I showed the agent my paperwork that showed one bag each--it was not explicit on the paper whether this was the allowance or what I had paid--and she shrugged and said "Bad information. You have to pay now and you can take it up with the airline later." This will be a pain in the neck."
Contras: "The passage through Riga airport was terrifying. We arrived from St. Petersburg 6.35 and we left 7.20 to Paris (passengers in transit). We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Contras: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

Contras: "This airline company looks a like person who is begging for money. First time in my life I paid for the luggage. 40 Euros!!! what for? Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

Contras: "Flight was just under 3 hours late (long enough to kill most of the day, but just under what is needed to pay compensation). First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."

After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."

Contras: "Booked 3 flights all on Ryanair for a trip inside Portugal. The booking agent, Gotogate.com, and Ryanair left me deserted. Some error occurred and I received the same flight booking # for all 3 the flights. I discovered this when trying to retrieve my boarding pass for the second flight. Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."
