Prós: "The food was amazing, the in-flight entertainment was amazing, and the flight attendants were amazingly kind and beautiful. :) Swiss Air has set the standard on airline food, serving Swiss Chocolate and Gruyere cheese on the flight! It was the best!"

Prós: "SwilssAir is our new favorite airline to Switzerland and other points in Europe. The crews were pleasant and efficient. All flights were right on time. The food was very good, and the best overall we have experienced in economy. The individual video screens provided a nice selection of movies, tv, games, etc. Finally, transferring in Zurich is MUCH better than the zoo that his Heathrow!"

Contras: "2 hour delay due to a morning delay at Barcelona, although that seemed odd. The delay was known early that morning. Flight from Barcelona to Zurich doesn't take long. Seems they could have rerouted, or at least sent an email or some notification. Also, the boarding staff at Zurich is rude and random about whom they let onboard with larger luggage or not. They held some people but not others. Middle seats have metal polls, making legroom awkward."

The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. This option was never offered to me at check-in."
Prós: "Actually being able to breathe on this trip, as opposed to the first trip on your horrible planes."
Contras: "Being FORCED to spend extra money simply to be able to reserve the last row of two seats, in the faint hope of being able to achieve some level of comfort which was unattainable on the first flight. Having only two seats in our row and the one in front of us made the flight tolerable, but also enhanced the ludicrous ineptitude of the previous flight, wherein we were treated like so much livestock in a train car, heading for slaughter. I will never, NEVER, fly Swiss Air again."
Contras: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."
Prós: "Like to have the gluten free option for food. I know i chose it when i got the ticket but i did not get it."

Thanks so much. And also the pilots did an amazing job on making the flight as smooth as possible, love the 777! Thank you Swiss. I'm flying again to Athens this summer, I'm going with Swiss :)"

Movie selection seems to be going downhill also. All that being said, I'm grateful for every safe landing."
Prós: "The food,crew and flight were flawless. Our flight scheduling had us connecting within a thirty minute period in zurich and we had to run to catch the flight. Probably would have missed the connection if our 26 year old son didn't run ahead. Too much drama and no one from swiss air to help. Suggest more time for transfer in the future or someone to guide passengers. We were nit the only ones. However, we did make it as did the others ( luggage too!)so kudos to swiss for waiting"

Contras: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

Will like skip Delta connectors to long haul international flights and just fly direct from SFO."
Prós: "Our stewardess in the economy cabin was probably one of the best we have ever encountered. She was very courteous and personable."

Contras: "Fed up with the .4 oz pretzels. The arrival in LAX was chaotic. We had left on-time and were told that we would arrive approx. 20 minutes early. Ha! First landing attempt had to be aborted, the landing not being cleared by the control tower. Then we cruised, circling over the Ocean, and the lights of the city again. Finally we landed. Taxiing on the tarmac was interrupted many times, and took overall 30 minutes. The pilot kept informing us. I was probably not the only passenger that had and urgent need to reach a bathroom... Of course, Delta should not be blamed"

My biggest complaint is that as a paying customer (vs non rev) I think it is kind of crazy that I did not have an assigned seat until I walked onto the plane. I really disliked tjis process. I found it to be an unnecessary stress. When I asked the gate agent about it I didn't get a clear answer as to where I will be sitting. I'd much rather know what my seat number is before I board the plane. Other then this bizarre process. Everything was great."
Contras: "The flight attendants were rude and not helpful. The checkin counter at the Sydney airport is hidden. Better signage would be helpful in locating the area"
Prós: "Delta is one of the best airlines I've flown with. Staff is very helpful, and customer service and amenities are tip notch."
Contras: "For some reason , we we did not have seat until the day we left, they ended up placing us in the back. Not that I mind sitting in the back, it was just a scary thought that we didn't have assigned seat when I bought the tickets- I remember picking my seat"

We were told after we boarded. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours in a stuffy hot plane. The bathrooms were very dirty and stinky. The bathroom door did not close properly. We finally deplaned and waited for a new plane. Got to Kona at 2:00am. The air temp was warm the entire flight. Had to endure a grumpy crew. Not the best flying experience. I know you can do better. Maybe look at how Hawaiian airlines does it and you might get some inspiration on how to improve."
Contras: "The person taking tickets asked me to check my bag. I said ok and he instructed me to step aside and taking anything out of it that I might need. I did this and when I came back they had locked the doors."
Contras: "Crew was nice, however the flight get was 2 hours late, then a gate change and no explanation why late. Once on the runway, again back. Not a good experience overall."

Prós: "Having recently flown from PVR to LAX on AA I can only say that Delta makes coach seem like first class compared to the competition. Instead of being treated like livestock Delta makes its passengers comfortable offering blankets and head phones in coach servicing Starbucks Coffee not week old coffee left in the galley., Flying has gone from being a privilege to a punishment and thank you for valuing the coach crowd ."

Contras: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Contras: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Contras: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

Contras: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"
Prós: "The CDG airport is very bad in terms of finding your connections, the flight to CDG from LAX had a very old entertainment system and was hard to use."

People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

Contras: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."
Prós: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

Contras: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."
Contras: "The seat seemed smaller and space was very uncomfortable. The boarding process was very painful because we had to wait for a longtime."

In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. One bag has always been included in the price of a ticket flying transatlantic."

Contras: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Contras: "This was almost a six hour flight there were no televisions available the flight was oversold and there were people on standby there was very little Lego room we were only offered snacks and drinks the crew was stressed we left late because we were instructed to check our carry-ons but that was not enforced until people were already on the plane getting on the plane and getting off the plane took a very long time there was very little leg room it was difficult to move around the plane because it was such a small plane the crew was very stressed out. I am very upset about this flight and will not fly with American ever again."

Luckily, my row of TVs did work and we had an empty seat between my daughter and me , so when my son's TV went out he sat in my row which did work. Great plane, once everything is fixed!"

Prós: "The seat pockets were decent, though I like when the magazines have their own designated slot behind the tray in addition to a pocket. Also good there were power outlets. I liked that they didn't skip row numbers, including 13. So if you're in row 22, for example, you know that's literally how many rows back you are."
Contras: "It took 25 minutes from when plane landed until it reached the gate. There was also apparently an issue with the auxiliary power -- the lights went out in back half of plane when we arrived at gate. I prefer having a screen behind each seat, rather than those attached to ceiling on this flight, so that the entertainment can be customized."
Prós: "Everything went smoothly"
Prós: "The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout."

Contras: "For a 5 hour flight at dinner time and then the 3 hour time change, the snacks provided are not enough. You just have to remember to bring food on the plane and then risk annoying your fellow passengers with the food/dinner dining space. More checks of drinks would be nice too. Cost cutting measures, but minimal considering a packed flight and pretty high ticket price."

Contras: "I purchased the earliest flight of the day from Vegas to Los Angeles so I could be in LA by 11am so I could attend the 1pm Dodger game at dodger stadium... ( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."
Prós: "I enjoyed the entertainment because I don't watch movies in the theater often. The movies I saw in-flight were recent films I've been wanting to see and made time pass fairly quickly."
Contras: "I'm not a giant, but there definitely was not enough leg room in the main cabin. I could not sit comfortably, especially in the middle seat."

Contras: "Plane was old and didn't include personal screens in the seats, for an 8+ hour flight it should be mandatory. Everything about the plane felt old and slightly dirty, and while flying across the Atlantic, it's slightly nerve wracking to still see cigarette disposals in the bathroom and on the seats (reminding you just how old the plane is)! The boarding process was a bit crazed, we were put on buses in no particular priority order and dropped off at the plane to all board at the same time!"
Contras: "They were extremely slow at boarding and over-estimated how many pieces of carry-ons were being taken on board. As a result, every one who boarded the plane late were asked to check their carry-on bags in. We got on board only to find that there was still a ton of space in the overhead compartments."
Contras: "I was expecting to be on an JAL flight but it wasn't JAL and was operated by american airlines and I feel ripped off."
