The flight connection was bad in Frankfurt. Crowded and no staff keeping it in order, people cutting lines to get ahead. And my luggage didn’t make it to SFO.
Correu muito bem. Houve pequeno atraso na saída, mas sem consequências.
Our trip was Lisbon-Frankfurt- Bangalore. When we reached Lisbon Check in there was not anybody at the Lufthansa counter. There was one and a half-hour delay before the aircraft left Frankfurt. The less said about the food the better. I had an Eco Saver ticket. Does it mean that beggars cannot be choosers' type of attitude to passengers is the order of the day?
The flight was delayed and we were stranded at Dulles airport for 2 days (48 hours) as United Airlines cancelled the flights!
The flight was on a very small plane for a transatlantic flight. It was more suitable for a mid-distance domestic flight. The plane was also quite old and its entertainment systems repeatedly froze and shut down. Finally, the airline charged for most food and drinks--on an international flight. I will avoid Lufthansa and its partner, United, in the future. Also, the airports are a disastrous mess, with long lines and huge numbers of flights delayed (although this is beyond the airline's control). Both my flights were delayed substantially.
My flight was cancelled and Air cañada said they didn’t even have that flight number or my name in their computer. Does this mean Kayak somehow messed up with the letters/ number sequence? No one would help me at the airport. Lufthansa said it was Air cañadas fault and I had gotten two messages from Kayak, one was at 6 am(I had already called a ride so I was going an hour earlier ) then after 2 hours at airport I get my message from Kayak(Ricky) saying sorry your flight is cancelled? Then, like I say, no one would even put me on standby for another flight as my numbers you gave me did not match. Can you please get me on a flight home? No later than Monday, please? I am out of money
Baggage never made it to Frankfurt so which sucks when taking a European vacation. Luggage showed up three days later.

Contras: "The plane was supposed to leave Lisbon at 5:00 a.m. but because of computer problem it left at 5:50, a delay that caused everyone to scramble to get to their connecting flight or even miss it."

Prós: "Great film choices, short flight time - no delays. The flight was relatively full but I experienced no discomfort and the food was good. I think they ran out of one option but this didn't bother me as it wasn't my choice."

Contras: "The cabin crew ignored my repeated calls for service. I willing gave up my seat so a couple could sit together with their kid and sat behind my wife and kids to be nice. They than reclined the seat back and my seat was broken do I asked them to put the seat forward and they ignored me. I informed the cabin crew that they weren't being considerate after all I gave up my seat to them. The cabin crew told me I could leave my 4 yest old and 3 year old alone and move to a new seat."

Na verdade não são assentos de classe executiva. São assentos comuns, em que eles bloqueiam o assento do meio. Não tem banheiro privativo da classe executiva, o banheiro tinha fila o tempo todo. A comida era medíocre. Enfim, jamais pague um voo de executiva pela Lufthansa nessa rota."

Prós: "Having a very difficult time thinking of something I like about the whole service. Maybe the checking in process was a little bit smoother at San Diego compared to other airports."
Contras: "As many of you know, Frankfurt/San Diego is a new service offered by Lufthansa. It touts direct flights to and from Europe. It’s main advertising draw was connection to the east. Many of their connecting flights at Frankfurt are scheduled within an hour of arrival. This possess a high risk of missing your connecting flight. I experienced this personally as a major number of my fellow travelers missed their connecting flights. Though Frankfurt has good directions, transfers take a long time due to multiple security checks and due to the size of the Airport. LAYOVER OF AT LEAST TWO HOURS WOULD BE BEST. Anything less, you risk missing your flight. I was personally selected TWICE for ‘random check’ for the same flight! Not sure how that can happen! The flight itself is long and arduous. the economy seats are small, cramped and don’t recline much at all. The entertainment selection was very limited. The TV touch screen barely worked. The food was tasteless and service was not much better. I have a hard time sleeping on flights with such bad seats but we had air hostess who kept talking the whole flight and that did not help with resting my eyes. I highly suggest taking a different airline through LAX. I personally feel like driving to LA and taking a flight there would be the wise move."

Not the best crew. Extremely annoying with mask wearing. Even when I was eating and drinking they would come up to you to tell you to wear your mask. Extremely annoying.
Prós: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."

Tripulação ficou conversando e dando risada a noite inteira enquanto o resto do avião inteiro tentava dormir. Não conseguimos por conta das conversas e risadas constantes da tripulação num voo noturno depois de terem servido o jantar e apagado as luzes
The person that was incapable to help herself was not given proper service inconvenienving not only her but also those seating in the same raw as hers.

Boarding, crew knowledge/experience, waiting time on a bus (in Lisbon) to our gate, poor directions and lack of staff to direct travelers through customs once landed in Toronto.

Só muita demora no despacho da bagagem. Fiz tudo on line e fiquei em uma fila enorme mesmo tendo me adiantado em tudo. Enfim final de férias acho que o movimento foi grande. Mas no geral tudo positivo. Grata Bia Godinho

A classe econômica premium é muito confortável. A fila para despacho das malas estava enorme e muito demorada, mesmo para quem já tinha feito o check-in.
Contras: "Unclear how Air Canada is still claiming “beat airline in North America.” I think that was true 5+ years ago but the last two years they have been an operational nightmare with customer service also being atrocious"

Contras: "I am a true-blue Air Canada customer but their checked baggage fees has created a disaster when it comes to boarding flights and getting planes in the air on-time. Many people had too many carry-on bags or very large carry-on bags so the time it took to board was ridiculous. Better rules need to be enforced with carry on (not that I blame people for trying, considering the increase in checked baggage fees) so that flights can be boarded more quickly and planes can take off on time."

They are new and have touchscreens that are actually well designed and can scroll etc. Resolution and sound are great, so I actually feel like I watched my movie and didn't just look at moving blurs with half the dialogue missing. Also the USB ports are great. And the brownie with the meal was delicious."
Contras: "Only one meal on a >9 hour flight, plus one snack which was an uninspiring-looking rectangle of cold pumpkin loaf (it tasted good, but after 7.5 hours in the air it'd be nice to get something more appealing). Other airlines give two meals. It's ridiculous that Air Canada insists on being so stingy with the food."

Contras: "I may be mistaken here, but apparently since I am not a permanent US resident, I needed a transit visa to fly through Canada, although this was not advertised anywhere. As such, we were not allowed to check in our flight and had to cancel our tickets a few hrs prior to boarding and book tickets on antoher flight. We would up losing good money since we were traveling as a family with kids. The silver lining is we flew Emirates which we should have chosen from the very beginning."

Contras: "No check in em Rochester a atendente colocou duas pessoas que viajam juntas em fileiras separadas. O avião que nos levou de Rochester para Toronto era alem de muito pequeno, velho e sujo o que causa preocupação com a segurança."

Contras: "We paid extra for bulkhead seats at the front of economy. One of the stewards working in business class repeatedly came to get something out if the compartment over my head. The noise woke me up over and over. I finally asked him what he was getting and he told me it was his lunch! Irritating."

Contras: "No online check in. Long line to check in. Plane was 30 mins. Late leaving and then had to wait ten minutes to offload. This made us very late for connecting flight which We just made as they closed the door behind us. People that were slower getting through customs did not make the connection."

Contras: "No screens at seats (haven't been on an international flight in a long time without that!), seats are not very comfortable."

Prós: "Our flight was delayed an hour and a half about 18 hours before takeoff which was communicated to us before we got to the airport, so we got to sleep in later. We were unable to make our connecting flight because of the delay, but when we arrived in Toronto I had an email waiting to tell me that they had put us on another flight, which was direct, that would get us home at the same time we had been originally scheduled. The agent that we talked to once we got to Toronto also tried to get us on standby to another flight that would have gotten us home two hours earlier! Also, our bags made it home too after all of the changing! Great service, nice to have a charging station on board and the food was edible."
Contras: "That there were a lot of delays, but I'm sure that was beyond Air Canada's control as Toronto airport workers were on strike."
